Is there any condition or syndrome wherein an adolescent male develops female-like body characteristics? Characteristics like gynecomastia, wide hips (wider than it is narrow) giving a female-like curvature, fat distributed around the hips, widened elbow carrying angles? All these occuring in the absence of ambiguous genitalia, and in the presence of normal body hair distribution/ pattern and normal testicular volumes. Ty.

It might be a good idea to see a urologist and/or to have his Barr body checked. Offhand, it might be an XXY chromosomal abnormality, Secondary hypogonadism (e.g. Kallman's Syndrome), Androgen Resistance Syndrome, or a functional testicular tumor.
