i am just curious, if you would have a little baby, what would you want the first-born to be and why?
I would choose a boy. Wala lang, gusto ko lang siguro that when my children grow up, I have someone who will look over his little brothers and sisters. Parang a second father figure kung baga.

I would like my first-born to be a boy. I have an older brother and I've experienced the ups and downs of having one. I know how it feels like to have a "kuya" watch over me, to take care of me, to drive me to places I have to go to, to interrogate the guys who court me, to put a protective arm around my shoulder when there are "suspicious" characters walking around. My brother still does all of these even now that I'm on the last year of my teenage years which goes to show that kuyas (whether we like it or not) will be kuyas forever. :)

ako..wala akong preference. Whatever is given to me, ill accept with an open arms. many people prefer males as the eldest because they always that men continue the bloodline (apelyido). Usually the eldest has big responsibilities and ppl before that men are better women. I really think that females are also capable of being responsible-- minsan nga mas focused pa sila compared sa males.

boy or girl...it does not matter as long as i have one of each! some say though that a girl first-born is a plus to the mom because she can help take care of the second. a boy-first born however is expected to act like the dad and "watch over" the family especially in his absence.
a boy para may magdala ng family name ng husband ko... .pero whatever comes out it really doesnt matter as long as it is normal.

Kahit ano, as long as he/she is healthy.
I don't think I'm gonna have one (baby). I don't even think I'm gonna get married! Destined to be single yata ako!

Rocking chairs? Its an old joke between Cy and me. As I said before, it looks like both of us (Cy) are bound to be single for the rest of our lives. If that happens, we'll just sit on the front porch in our rocking chairs and rant about Valentine's day or maybe dream of that romantic date we never had. Hahahaha!!!

i would want to have a boy for my first-born. i don't have any kuya/s and from what i hear from my friends who have one, it looks that having one is really great!!having somene to look after you, give you advices about life, especially 'bout boys, hang out/ chat with your kuya's buds, etc....but then be it boy or girl, i'll accept His blessings wholeheartedly.

cy, ada, and glasshouse <;--- bata pa niyo ano to think of single blessedness for the rest of your life. i have a cousin who got married at the age of 36. am already in my 30s too, so far in our generation, most marry late.
for a first born - personally, it doesnt matter for the baby would be born out of love and not lust or accident. but in deference to my mom's wishes, i would like to have a girl. two boys kami and my mom always wished to have a girl. so kahit apo na lang daw.

Boy... kasi masarap ang feeling na magka-KUYA! The one who would be there to protect you. Sarap din maglambing ang Kuya! Feeling mo baby na baby ka! :)
