View Full Version : Entry-level salary database

Hi guys! I would just like to create a database regarding entry-level salaries from different companies and industries. I believe that this will help fresh graduates and even those who are wanting to shift their careers to another industry have an idea regarding entry level salaries.
Let me get the ball rolling by posting my companies offer to entry level applicants. But before that, a little backgrounder, I work as HR professional in a call center.
Customer Care Representatives/Specialist
Outbound Call Center
Starting Salary: 14,000-15,000

renting in certain areas can be very costly, more so if your in a CBD or a major city. like in makati for instance, a studio apartment in the CBD can go for at leat 10k-15k a month. that's rent alone! not talking yet about utilities.
if you REALLY want to stay in a place as mentioned above, find a room-mate or two. it'll make things easier.

aren't outbound call centers suppose to pay a higher salary than inbound call centers? kase mas mahirap trabaho ng outbound eh. pagbentahin k b naman through the telephone... anyway, ako sa inbound call center and my starting salary eh ganyan din

my wife works there, they're a software development company catering to international clients. they have a casual working environment, medical, dental, stock options, training allowance. Before you can get regularized, you need to pass an MCP exam. I know most of the people there and they're ok, my wife doesn't have any complaints.
They are hiring software developers, software testers, documantation and requirements engineers.

You forgot to mention the other P&G benefits aside from the gross pay..
Food Allowance= about 3,000 Php/ Mo
Rice allowance = about 1,000/ Mo
Gas Card= about 2,000/ Mo
Optical allowance of 5000 semi annually
Medical allowance (Im not sure how much exactly)
Car subsidy of 30% (upon regularization)
Housing Loan
(and all these are non-taxable.. ;) )
+ 15.5 Months of pay a year..
But then again, I agree that the taxes will kill you. I kinda miss P&G. :D :glee:

The MEDICAL, Dental, Optical and all P&G allowances are reimbursable so they are as good as cash...
I also forgot to mention that they give away perks every now end then (I think its every quarter) like a NIKE sports watch, a Printer, 50% sale on their products, etc...
HP's benefits are relatively inferior as compared to P&G's but the former pays higher as far as base pay is concerned...

accountant here, from one of the Top 4 accounting firms in the philippines.
entry level 10,000.00
meal allowance 1,000.00
13th month pay
medical insurance
sobrang liit, pero i really suggest that new accountants spend some time with an accounting firm before going to an industry that offers more than the aforementioned figures.
accountants with an auditing/accounting firm experience have more market value in the corporate world.
international accounting firms also give preference to those who are with the top 4. :-)

Nestle is far bigger than the company i work for right now. Almost all their brands are market leaders kaya most of the time sila and nasusunod sa mga supermarkets.
What I do not like with Nestle is medyo bugbog yung mga KAS and sales reps nila.

Nestle is far bigger than the company i work for right now. Almost all their brands are market leaders kaya most of the time sila and nasusunod sa mga supermarkets.
What I do not like with Nestle is medyo bugbog yung mga KAS and sales reps nila.
Maganda ang long term benefits din sa Nestle.
True. The KAS at Nestle is usually under a lot of pressure. Just imagine having to sell over 700 SKUs!?!?! Wala pa Ice Cream and RTD SKU diyan. :) Kaya for really big accounts such SM, Nestle assigns 2 KAS to handle the account. :)

Hiwalay talaga sales rep or KAS sa Ice Cream, Grocery, RTD's, Food Service, Waters sa lahat ng accounts and distributors nila.
Madami din RSM (Regional Sales Managers) and Nestle.
Dami ko nakakasama na taga Nestle hanggang ngayon and I used to work for them, Sales Rep in Davao City tapos balik Manila hawak ko traditional accounts (Supermarket B).
Masyado lang talaga toxic jan compared sa company where I am working now.
Almost same benefits naman e. hehehehe.

Hindi ako from UNILAB. hawak ko Supermarkets like Shopwise, Rustan's.
Nasa Wines and Spirits industry ako. Actually, kami pinaka mababa sa salary sa industry namin. Diageo starting is 40t, Pernod Ricard 40 t din and they give high end cars like sa pernod ricard brand new 1.8S civic ang kotse mg Key Accounts Specialist dun and sa Diageo naman Altis or Focus.
Sa amin hanggang Honda City VTEC lang.
40k entry level?
anybody working at the two companies mentioned?
more info please! :)

Haha, i believe i know which company you are working for because it offers the same entry level salary. And trust me, yearly increase there is really really miniscule. Increase this year in your company is just 1% I think. Goodluck!

ok ba sa consolidated distillers?
I have a friend who works there. Marketing department entry levels (brand manager trainees) get about 12k gross. after about a year, that's the only time they give you the company car. when you are regularized (usually after 6 months), increase is about 50% of your gross however, succeeding increase will not be that much anymore. mejo patayan ang work dito coz they send you to provinces, with quite a low compensation.

22k sa china bank management trainee? medyo mataas rin pala kung trainee kasi ang alam ko yung normal positions 10k lang ata. mahirap bang makapasok here as trainee?

Feb 28, 2008, 10:17 AM
yeah, malaki ang difference ng salary ng ibang entry level positions sa management trainee ng china bank.
hindi gaanong mahirap kasi around 30 ata kukunin this year.

My starting salary for a telco company (years ago) was around P8,000 (I heard it's now around P10,000). This is for an entry-level staff/clerk position.
