pano ba procedure for treating hydrocele? baby ko 1.5mos lang pero *** pedia niya nirefer kami sa surgeon dahil daw may hydrocele siya. *** surgeon agad nagpropose na ooperahan daw... kaya ibalik-balik ko every 4-6 mos, tapos pag medyo matanda na ng konti dun ooperahan. hello, diba, at 1.5mos normal lang *** condition na to sa baby ko, so la ba ko karapatan mapraning?! towards the illness and towards the doctor! question ko lang is pano ba ginagawa *** surgery, assuming hindi mawala *** hydrocele within 12-18mos?

I presume that you're talking about a scrotal hydrocoele.

Congenital hydrocoele (what your baby probably has) may resolve within the first or year of life when the previously patent processus vaginalis closes spontaneously. That's the reason why the surgeon will still observe the baby every 4-6 months.

questions po ulit. nakakabaog po ba ang hydrocele? eh *** surgery ano kaya mga risks / negative effects nun? tsaka magkano po cost nito (para mapaghandaan na rin namin if ever)?

It really depends on the cause of the hydrocoele. Remember, not all hydrocoeles are congenital. Most congenital hydrocoeles are not associated with infertility. It may, however, contribute to the development of an hernia if the type of hydrocoele is a "communicating" type.

Surgery is relatively simple and success rate is high with a well trained urologist. :) Most complications are due to the usual risks of any surgery.

Sorry I don't know how much this procedure would cost. It would be best for you to consult a urologist for further questions, both with the condition and the costs of treatment, as they are the ones who do these.
