What kind of job are you looking for? What's your skills background?

Hmm, kung willing ka to do odd jobs, hindi ka mahihirapan maghanap ng trabaho. :)

there are a lot of filipino maids in Italy...I sat beside a middle aged Filipina maid, on my way to Europe a few years back and she told me na marami silang maids sa Italy and showed me pictures of her amo's kids...If you're willing to do that, I guess you should be able to find work there.

thank you for the replies.First things first.Mahirap ba mag-apply ng visa (i guess visa is needed to enter here) going to It(a)ly?Should i search for work there here or apply as a tourist first then look for a job?

Yeah, you can apply for a tourist visa then find work there. However, before you move there you should try to look for someone to adopt you for a while. Here in Europe kasi, things are kind of expensive. I mean, if you leave pa now, the weather is kind of cold.

Pero if you are willing to do odd jobs, hindi ka naman mahihirapan masyado eh. Just plan ahead kasi mahirap na bigla ka na lang nasa Italy without any connections or without anyone to run to. :)

Hmm, it is possible, yes but with the EU expanding companies here prefer to hire citizens of the EU countries. Plus, speaking and writing excellent English is not enough, you really have to be fluent in their native language. I am not discouraging you or anything, ha! This is based on what I know.

What I would suggest is that you get some work experience muna there and after a year or two apply here. Better yet, get work experience there, work somewhere else in Asia like in Singapore or Hongkong then go here. :)

P.S. Being a DH is a decent job. :)

Easiest way to get a job in Europe is apply as a DH. Otherwise, you have to be fluent in the language and be a citizen before you can apply for other jobs. Daming openings for IT pero kailangan nila mga nationals.

Being a DH in Europe is not really bad. Tayo lang ang nagpapababa sa mg DH. Pero, di alam ng marami na ang mga DH sa Europe grabe rumaket. Malaki din ang kinikita basta masipag.

if you guys really are interested to go there... much better to have any relatives or a friend who can "sponsor" you or they can invite you as long as they can prove to the immigration that you'll have a place to stay there... if you passed this, you can apply as a tourist then you can just process your papers when you're already there.. for PR. Mejo mas mahal na nga ang pamasahe papunta don compared before. Another thing madali talagang maghanap ng odd job doon but they are well paid naman. For ITs, their government i think is offering trainings for Filipinos and non-Italians so they can also work in that field. Lastly, you have to be fluent in their native language... kahit helper ka though ok na rin *** English. :)

gano ba katagal bago maging Italian citizen..(hehe tama ba yun?) if im only a graduate of a two-year course, like associate in ComSCi, do you think i'd still have a fair chance of getting jobs in line with the course?
