wow, suddenly things are looking up for Lasalle. this just proves that they're still very much up there even with the departure of their debate veterans.

congrats eric, denise, and shelz!
to those who claim it was just plain luck,
let me just vouch for the team that won jpes. i adjudicated them 2 times during the tournament, and all 3 of their speakers were excellent. my ballot in the final wasn't for them, but I made them lose by a mere point. that debate could have gone either way. in fact, up until the reply speaker of ateneo, i thought the debate had gone to la salle. i was representing ateneo in that representative panel and I almost gave it to la salle. that should say something
oh, and don't forget that they absolutely dominated the speaker tab.
i doubt all this was just luck. again, no more bashing of other debate orgs in pex please. all filipino debaters are in the same boat.

That means he voted against DLSU, and for the ADMU team. But the margin was very close, a point. A difference of 1-3 points between teams in a debate is considred a close win.
Who was in the ADMU team, might I ask?

it's funny how some people downplay others' achievements without really knowing the nature of the competition and jargons commonly used in debating.

nanalo na ba sa international ang DLSU? yung totoong debate ha, hindi Spratly's o Mariana's tourney.

Napadaan lang po ako, galing sa UAAP forums.
My observation: Errr... wala masyado difference. :rotflmao: One school is winning on all angles. Some other school, finding more excuses. :glee:
