I'm not really sure if this is the right forum, nor if this has been posted yet... but I've been tormented lately by AIG's very slow customer service... I mean, I had to call them about 3 times and wait for about 30 mins each time but to no avail...

Anybody had the same experience? Maybe this thread would somehow knock some sense into those guys...

I called them to get my balance inquiry but after waiting on queue for 15 minutes i got disconnected.. as if someone picked up and then hung up.. tried it three times in the last week and got the same deal.. very frustrating.

I WANT TO CANCEL MY CARD IF ONLY THEY LET ME GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM..

Uy Im from AIG ganyan talaga sa customer service sa credit card.Nireklamo ko na yan e....nag apologize naman sila at sabeng kaya nag hihire pa sila ng madaming customer reps para ma asikaso ang calls...kahit kme from AIG mismo na hihirapan e.

loser talaga tong customer service ng AIG... actually, dapat customer "disservice" ang tawag!

you'll only feel frustrated in calling them... hay...

To be fair with AIG, hindi lang naman sila ang ganun. You would experience the same with Citibank and HSBC. But once you get through ok **** ang customer service nila. AIG for one is madaling kausap, very accommodating sa requests ng cardholder. Its up to the customer na to call at the right time. Nung una pag tumatawag din ako sa kanila bukod sa nagbabaga na ang daliri, umuusok pa ilong at tenga ko. Pero ngayon ezee-ezee na lan ako sa kanila. Mababait at service oriented din naman sila eh.

^di rin.. i have a Citibank and hsbc card.. Service is much faster and better.. Also, customer service has to be accomodating.. It's their job and they get paid to be accomodating.. kaya you can't really count that as a plus. Not to mention mali spelling nang pangalan ko sa card na sinend nila.

actually ok ang customer service nila, kasi i havent heard AIg doing the "humiliation" trick with their credit card holders

masama experience ko sa kanila. double billing. tapos sisingilin ka ng extra pag di mo binayaran yung bill na bayad mo na! minsan hindi dadating yung bill, pag dumating sa succeding month may extra charges na. para bang sinasadya.
pina cancel ko. di pa rin nila ginawa. ignore ko na lang yung mga letters nila pati yung charges sa renewal. ayun
bpi na lang gamit ko.

i had the same experience and the worst part is i'm calling from abroad. imagine how much it costs me to call them and wait for almost 30 mins? I was calling to terminate my 2 credit cards since i no longer use it coz i'm in the UK. Upon saying that i wish to have my card terminated bigla na lang na cut off yung line. Coincidence or intentional? i don't know. so instead of calling them again i asked na lang my sis there in the phils to call them for me. I gave her na lang all my security details and pretend she was me.

haven't had any experience with aig cs, but standard charter is one of the worse back then, don't know if its still the same, sobrang hirap tawagan plus the cs doesn't even have a clue about anything.

Ciitbank and BPI still has the best cs for me

because HSBC got their own call center aside from different call centers which supports HSBC so i guess its quite impossible for them to let u wait till dawn hehe.

globe customer service wala na atang tatalo. they dont know anything plus ang tataray pa! parati pang busy.
