^No such thing as third sex.
You're either male or female.
Maybe u r referring to sexual preference or orientation. :)
Kasi bading ka man, male pa rin.
Tibo man, female pa rin.
Let's be politically correct. :)

I can't believe you brought this up. That's not being politcally correct - it's being anal by being a nitpicker.
then again, since you focus, you probably feel very strongly about it. to each his own...

i think you miss the point of this thread entirely. why bother with terminology when in fact in contributes nothing of value to the discussion. the term "third sex" while a misnomer has become a somewhat accepted term within our culture just as "crispy" is a word for us when in fact it is not.
you haven't even touched on transgenders and transexuals and whose to say that these are the only terms that can be used? to reduce yourself to needing to classify and label only shows how limited your thinking actually is...how can you capture the human experience in just a few letters.

para sayo dahil kulang ka sa asin:
transgenders/transexuals are recognized under law as females/males, whatever sex you change into. magbasa ka nga!
pwedeng-pwede i-kahon ang sex/gender ng tao. EVERYONE knows that! but then again, there are exceptions to the rule... :bop:

act according to what you are. walang taong pinanganak na homo. it was a choice. therefore deal with the consequences. habang buhay na merong discrimination sa mga homos. even though merong mga bansa that recognizes these kinds of relationships, mahirap na matupad to sa Pinas.

and who's to say people aren't born gay? there's already evidence that supports the possibility that there are genetic links to homosexuality.
besides, i was never one to just accept the supposed consequences - i prefer to take action and work to change those unfair situations...

it's a LAME EXCUSE to believe that higher than usual estogen in males or extra testosterone in females would qualify as an excuse to be "natural" or born homos.

that's but one part of the equation, but this is not the thread to bombard you with the latest findings, not that it would matter...what is of concern is that your need to label, classify and define homosexuals into pre-defined categories speaks clearly of the type of thinking that leads to discrimination and what needs to be challenged, if not corrected.
one of the few joys in my experiences with call centers thus far would have to be the fact that i feel discrimination is not as prevalent as with other industries. in fact, it's here that you least feel the effects of the supposed glass ceiling...

neutral? you brought us down this path by bringing this statement which was a far as possible from politically correct as you claim.
what i'm pointing out is the the nature of the thought processes that people go through, especially evidenced by your need to implement labels leads to the kind of thinking which justifies discrimination.

U implemented labels... I merely stated a fact as being politically correct, which is regardles of sexual preference, dalawa lang ang sex ng tao at hindi tatlo. It is upto people to come up with their own conclusions.
Don't impose your judgment and perception on us. Sabi mo nga "to each his own."
Try not to complicate things just to sound smart.

this is what i believe:
the reality is we cannot BOX people with only two-stemmed descriptions. it is unfair to the creative becoming of a person and a personality. if you guys ever understood the science behind quantum physics and darwin's natural selection, you must know that analog descriptions limited to 0 and 1 are false descriptors. but in reality there are degrees of 0s and 1s and whole mesh of in betweens and nothing that is exactly 0 and nothing that is exactly 1.
so to constrict reality to only MALE or FEMALE is a false descriptor thinking. i've been reading a lot of pexers here who need an open re-education. i'm very heterosexual and straight to the core, but the lack of openess in some people here is quite appalling.
anyway, i will go back to the issue posted in this thread - call centers who discriminate third sex? i have friends and practitioners all over this industry who are homosexual and have homosexual tendencies. i dont know of any call center that DELIBERATELY and openly discriminates against gender orientation. however, a lot of the call centers especially SYKES, AMBERGRIS, CLIENTLOGIC have placed professionalism as part of their core values and culture. It does not matter if you are gay, what matters is that people are not overly flamboyant and loud, and at the end of the day that we perform to company excellence standards. gender should not matter.
the challenge with most HR practitioners in this industry is the "rest room" treatment of gay employees. we are still in this conversative mode of labelling rest rooms by gender when in fact unisex comfort rooms can be practiced. it's going to take management sometime to fully open itself to this, but i find no cause whatsoever. now this is my take.

i strongly agree. personally it doesnt matter if one is gay for as long as you dont act one that would make people disrespect you. if you show people no self respect then you will get a dose of your own medicine.
this is a good way to change opinions just dont step on each other's tails! cmon guys this is just an exchange of thoughts you dont have to lash it someone in particular or bark at each other's shoulders.
ease up guys. this is just for the sake of sharing opinions, thoughts, insights. this thread is not created to outsmart each other. :naughty: *okay*

definitely - your thoughts on respect are definitely universal and they apply irregardless of sexual orientation.
my intent is never to sound smart or to "outsmart" anyone - just trying to make a point. i guess i can't help but feel very strongly about this topic given my own structure of beliefs. i've never been one to hold back and probably never will.

I do respect everyone's perspective here but just one thing. We should also respect those people who happens to be in the third sex. Yes, it's true that they don't act the way they were brought up into this world but we all have our decisions and whatever it is, no one SHOULD stand on your way. We don't have to blame them. It's their choice and preference, therefore, we should respect it as well.
