Because it's 70% cheaper to put up a contact center here than to put up one in the US.

but china is much cheaper.. thats why one of the accounts im into(ive got two accounts now) is moving to china. darn!

good point :)

Well besides cheap labor, we have more neutral accents as compared to our asian neighbors. It's easier to pass us off as americans :p

i find being a CCA boring. i've trained in one CC, then left after telling myself: "So this is what a call center world looks like..." :glee:

maybe u were in a call center that doesn t look like a call center at all or may u were in account which is not a good acct.

i cant believe my american counterpart earns $10.50 an hour where we do the same job :/
