Are there any good coffee shop out there that price their products lower than Starbucks, Figaros, and Seattle's Best?

...or Mocha Blends?
jolog1, from whose standpoint do you ask your question - a customer's or a prospective franchisee's?

Danny, from a franchisee's standpoint. Do you guys think all these coffee shops are making any money?

I suspect the franchisees are not, but the franchisors might be.

If the franchisees are not making money, it's not a bad idea to forego a franchise and set up your own. There are only 2 coffee shops I frequent these days and these 2 have only 1 branch each but they're full even on Sunday evenings. Coffee Shop #1 succeeded because of location. It is on a restaurant row but the nearest competitor is around 4 kilometers away. Coffee Shop #2 on the other hand is also on a restaurant row but on a street that has the highest density of coffee shops in the country. The reason I come to this shop is because they allow laptops unlimited use of their AC power. And I suspect, a good friend of mine who's a Ph.D in mathematics, comes everyday to find a good conversation.

i think if you're looking somehting to franchise, why don't you ask bout sugar n beans... its local lang (batangas ata nagsimula) and medyo reasonable naman ata *** price and start up cost nila :D well, mdyo madalas me dun kasi quite lower ang price ng coffee nila compared to starbucks and seattles and dey do serve rice meals (hehe.. pinoy talaga... ;P) their coffee is also less bitter than *** galing abroad... :D sarap pa ng iced tea nila ...
