May nakita ako sa jobstreet na mga companies na naghahanap ng agents. And from the looks of it, mga agency sila.
What's the deal with those companies? Why won't call center companies handle the screening process themselves? Pag dumaan ka ba dito, what's the catch? May cut ba yung agency sa salary mo?

Anyways, I passed the screening process in a call center somewhere in Ortigas, but I applied through an "agency".
So the big question is, may cut ba sila sa salary ko? If oo, then HELL NO!
Anyone can shed light on this one? Thanks :)

Just like broadsheet ads and online ads (jobstreet, jobsdb, etc), agencies are alternative sources of applicants for call centers. an agency can pre-screen applicants for a certain call center so that the latter can easily shortlist those hard-to-find agents. imagine if you have to fill a 100-seat campaign in just 2 weeks. you will need all the help that you can get.

i believe an agency doesn't get a cut from an agent's salary since the agency will bill the call center instead. of course, you have to expect that there will be certain deductions in your salary like tax, SSS, Medicare and Pag-ibig.

as far as i know, the deal will be just between the agency and the call center. Agency ko was jobsDB. just posted my resume sa website nila then they texted me to come to their office for the exam. They endorsed me to 6 call centers. And good thing kasi sa first appointment ko pa lang, i got hired na. :) and jobsDB helps you to follow up on your application din. Basta they'll help you all throughout.

***** those companies will earn thru the referral system.
they'll screen the candidates muna tapos they'll conduct a training for days then saka nila i-dedeploy sa mismong call center na affiliated sa kanila.

Headhunters ang tamang tawag sa kanina, I did some researching of my own, sila lang pala ang gumagawa ng screening process, and I guess call center companies pay those headhunters for every successful candidate they process.
