There is a new call center that is going to open on 2005. Its Affiliated Computer Services (ACS). Here is a brief synopsis:

I heard from my sources that there is a scheduled mass interview of prospective job applicants from December 17 & 18, 2004 at the Manila Peninsula. Anybody heard of this??

I went there for the interview (I was invited by the company). I'm still waiting for the result. I will keep you posted on any developments..........

Guys, right now I'm still waiting for the result of my interview. More likely the result will be released next year (2005). I'm not sure if there is a second batch of interviews, but for those who are interested in applying, go to http://www.jobstreet.com and look for the job openings for ACS (not the Advance Contact Solutions). I think it's still there.

I have sent an email to the Special Assistant to the VP, Customer Care (the one who arranged for my interview) to inform him that there are a lot of applicants interested. Hopefully, he will respond soon.

Sad news (at least for me). It seems that I didn't made the cut. I got the latest email from jobstreet that my ACS application has been "kept for future considerations". Right now, there are 40 applicants that are under consideration for various positions. I tried to post for the job ad link in case any of you might be interesed to apply. Unfortunately, all vacancies for positions are no longer available.

anyway, i dont have any idea. i think it's a new company, though.. i just read it on the ads..
