oi assassin, how do we say this?.. major employee turnover - reminiscent of the famed Exodus in the bible :D
me <-- bad! i should stop :p
but this is normal in an IT company or so they say
nway, training is great. you get to learn a lot of things. now about the binding contract? dont even get me started! :D

indeed, training is great in this company. unlike other companies which do not have a training program for new employees, J-SYS has a training program which will immerse employees in Nihongo, software development and other details that you will need later on.
This is a great company if you are interested in anime cause it is primarily a japanese company and thus contact with japan is assured.
the only negative would be the binding contract though. I am not sure if they still implement it, but when I was there, it was very long. :-) ask hannah_li about it LOL
ei hannah_li >> howza?

hey im one of the fortunate ones -- i only got 2yrs binding contract which i put to good use -- i tried to learn all that i could but i also endured unmentionable not-so-great-things :(
some of my not-so-lucky colleagues got like 5yrs binding contract excluding the 1yr training, right assassin? :D
but that's ok coz im now in a company that gives me more than triple my previous salary in Jsys -- now this is life!

So that binding contract thingy is bad, I presume.
How about the pay, management, and the company culture?

And about pala dun sa Nihongo training: mahirap ba ipasa yun?

for the binding contract it depends upon you.
If you are willing to bind yourself to a company, it wont be such a bad thing. you could think of it as job security :-)
as for the nihongo training ... well you have to pass the 3rd level Nihongo exam. not really hard if you are good with languages

Gaano ka katagal dun? Why did you moved to another company? How's the pay ba sa J-SYS? Would you recommend this company to other jobseekers? Tnx talaga! :)
hannah_li

pay is pure BS! i realized this after i transferred to another company.
its like this -- say JSYS was just paying me 5pesos, imagine my shock when i learned im worth more than 15pesos..
for those without experience/fresh grads, JSYS is a good training ground. you'll get far with what you will learn from here..
so would i recommend this to my friends?? no freaking way! :D i dont want them cursing me ;)

In assessing yourself (your worth/"market value"), was that prior or after working at J-SYS?
