last year sa amin may hiring kahit December. but yeah, pansin ko nga karamihan pinapalipas muna ang holidays before mag hire uli. possible din na kakaunti lang ang nagreresign during December kasi mahirap pag walang pera sa Pasko.

i guess it depends on the industry...sa call center, tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang hiring even in december.

most probably kaya walang tumatawag sa iyo ay dahil maraming employees ang naka-vacation.

I dont think this holds true. in our company, hiring is still going on full bore even though it is december.

I guess the question is whether you made your resume interesting enough

medyo mahirap na kasi maghire pag last quarter of the year.. mahirap daw humingi ng hiring ticket. yun yung sabi sakin nung finollow-up ko yung application ko nung october for the company i am working for now.

That's exactly what happened to me. I applied for the job on October, went through the interview process on November, hired and signed the contract on December (two weeks before Christmas) and will be starting work first week of January. I guess I got lucky :)

Don't lose faith unknown111. Maybe next year will be better.......

probably everyone's on a vacation mood during December? not sure. Most applicants don't come in for interviews during December, that's been my experience.

freeze hiring kami from december 20 til the last day of december. those who were hired after december 15 were requested to report this january.

..... But most people who are Employed tends to resign on the last month of the year para makuha nila buo yung 13 month pay nila

True. But then again, how long does a 13th pay last? One night?

Its really depends on the effectivity date of your resignation letter.

If its dated dec 29 (lets suppose this is the last working day of the year), makukuha mo yung 13 month pay mo ng buo

usually kokonti lang *** respondents sa job ad pag december kasi nasa holdiay modd nga yung mga tao. tsaka pag may ma resign usually january pa yung effecttivity. so to maximize returns sa job ad, january na pino-post.
