I have seen several job websites for Australia and New Zealand. Can anyone just send their resumes to these job websites? Is it possible to find employment in Australia or New Zealand this way?

My friend is in the process of applying to work there, pero thru a consultancy firm. Check out muna if you are eligible by taking this consultancy's test:

www.sampangnz.com

Di na updated yung site, pero yung questionnaire nila for eligibility yung ginamit nung friend ko.

Try to asses yourself first.

Yes it is. I got accepted to one. I did want to accept the job but the problem was, I couldn't leave immediately because I just gave birth and since they couldn't wait another 2 months, oh well.

Anyway, I look through http://www.seek.co.nz, I do get a lot of responses. Some of the companies I sent my resume to are asking me to get a tourist visa and go there and they will process from there. But I prefer the company sponsor me and my family directly rather than me forking over my own money to go there for something that isn't 100% guaranteed unlike if they sponsor me.

If you want to get an assessment and process your work permit yourself, do it through the New Zealand immigration site. http://www.immigration.govt.nz/
You can get a free assessment here. If you want to process, you'll need to pay around $200. If you are qualified, minimum points to qualify is 100 pts. You'll need to wait at least 9 months or more for your papers so you will be able to move to New Zealand with a work permit. Depending on your skills, it may actually be easier to just get a tourist visa and look around for a job there and then get sponsored.

mag australia ka na lang kaysa new zealand. kung sa career opportunities mas marami sa australia.

an advantage of becoming an australian PR is that you get automatic PR status in new zealand. this is not vice versa.
