I think Zobel's gonna bring home the trophy. Have you seen their routine? Tha bomb kaya! :) If you want to check them out, the annual inter-batch cheering competition is going to be held tomorrow at the DLSZ gym.

I think Holy Spirit has a really good chance of winning. But you can never really tell with these competitions... imagine, it's New Era University's first time to join any inter-school cheering competition and they got into the finals... :)

:) :) :) thank you, thank you!!! as an alumnus of the AC Hardcourt Team it really makes me proud that our team won! and for me to be hearing even good reviews on how the performance went makes me feel even better.
anyway, hope that when people ask me what the heck AC Hardcourt is they'll know na it's no joke to be part of it. literally blood, sweat and tears and nawawala sayo.
sorry to gloat pero sobrang happy lang talaga ako na AC won!!! galing talaga!!! let;s go AC Hardcourt. By the way, to the people who didn't get to watch the winning piece the Assimption Sa Lorenzo fair is coming this weekend. Hardcourt usually performs there and you might see them. it's friday and saturday but they perform during the variety show which is friday night. :)
again thanks!!! :)

Congrats to AC! Your piece is truly amazing...
Question: Don't they give deductions if you exceed the no.of lifters you have within the team, i.e. DLSZ have about 10 boys as lifters when you are only allowed 5...???just askin'

whatever happened to the 80's to early 90's Thriller called GAP/GALS? I think the best cheerleaders came out of the GAP competitions with Maryknoll and Assumption slugging it out every year.....sayang...i really enjoyed watching those when i was younger..it maybe the ultimate 80's conio gathering pero aliw pa rin sya. At least, AC is still going strong with their fantastic Hard Court. WHATEVER HAPPENED TO MY BELOVED MC?!?! NASAN NA KAYO!!! hehehe..oh well.....i guess, all knollers just cheer for AC..hehe
OtchO : I was part of the DLSZ routine...out of the 10 boys, only 5 were considered lifters the other 5 were counted as dancers kaya the lifters were in white while the dancers had a La Salle jacket on to differentiate the two groups.....just to clear tha topic.

Same here! Ang lupit kasi ng cheering tradition ng Zobel eh. Kaya lang, sad to say, it seems that the tradition has been deteriorating every single year. Nagiging sobrang bano at incompetent na ang cheering sa Zobel. Lalo na sa mga natitirang batches. I think it has something to do with the admi's decision to remove the grade school cheering competition. Tuloy, pagdating ng freshmen year, wala silang previous experience sa cheering, resulting in a mediocre performance or routine. This year's annual high school inter-batch cheering competition was such a disappointment to everyone, especially the alumni. Kaya siguro hindi sila sumali sa J&J this year. Baka kasi matalo at mapahiya lang. But the Juniors this year have a lot of talent and could be good conteneders for the J&J next year pag Seniors na sila. I hope they don't lose the tradition. This should be a wake-up call for the Zobel Pep Squad!!!
