hard_guy00, for a person who professes to have an MBA and is working in Makati, you sure seem to have a lot of time on your hands.
i'm now waiting for your usual caustic remarks in response to any message to you. just please make sure to use new insults. i've read all your other ones, and they're getting a bit redundant.

aticus,
hey, i wasn't conceived just to throw insults at anyone. where's your christmas spirit? maybe you think people have nothin better to do than post you messages.
didn't i tell you before i don't work in makati? i don't even work in a private corporation. think of it as a non-formal organization that sometimes uses extra-legal actions as a control tool. admission is very tough (none of the crappy parameters used by HR people in makati).
so you've been reading my post-"UP is the Only Real University" entries. that's awfully sweet of you. i always thought that, with a little hard work, i could gain some semblance of a following in PEX. this site is such a rich pool of intellectuals. what more can a romantic scoundrel like me ask for?

Hmmm... following? The way you insult people, methinks you DO have a following already!
And well, what's your organization? What are the qualifications? Can I join you? wahehehehe....
As for the topic...
I see myself as having my own web solutions company.

in reply to the thread question,
i want the ability to accept only work that interests me.
to my dear, dear friend latteM,
you may not want to join if you find out how my org. generates its revenues. and the besides, non of your training and natural endowment will help you in the screening process. first, you must be proficient in any of the following tools: 1) a rapier (a real one, not those sissy competition swords), 2) a fighting knife and 3) a combat automatic pistol. furthermore, you must have no scrupples in using any of the above tools against a fellow human being.
seasons greetings from the hard_guy00!

A pre-emminent nuclear scientist.
Aticus and LatteM, didn't you guys spar with Hard Guy in that crazy "UP is the Only..." thread of his?
Hard Guy, from your description, your organization is either a fraternity or a criminal syndicate. Naks!! May warrior code pa kayo, hah? Paispada-ispada pa! So, how does your organization generate revenues? Really curious.

Dec 27, 2000, 06:04 AM
dear cretin,
if you ever cross one of our members in person, you won't be laughing. as to our revenues, i can't tell you. i'm some sort of a cfo for that group.
trivia: did you know that in austria, duelling is still legal? guys in germany, france and italy go to austria to settle scores.
just to maintain thread relevance, i also want to expand my managerial influence to an international level.

It was a joke, okay? Music industry? Gangsta rap? Sheesh, lighten up. :p
But hey, just keep those insults going. A lot of people find this kind of online conversation intellectually fulfilling, as I'm sure you also do. It's sometimes even entertaining. Wow. How'd you like that, you're a star!

Maybe it's my nick. Maybe. I'm glad you like it.
Anyway, I see myself in the future either as a drummer, singer or a researcher for some technology firm. Most probably the third. Or maybe I'll end up as a boss or something. Ten years, after all, is a lot of time. :)

In 10 years time, i would have finished my PHD in Portland State University, became a President or Marketing Director of a Fortune 500 company, or the "big boss" of a huge and brutal crime syndicate.

In ten years, eh. I would like to be in something that involved writing (a newly realized dream of mine). Maybe a children's book writer or a journalist. Or maybe even someone involved in the creative department of an advertising firm.
And everyone is telling me to dream on...
