I've had my share of subjects that made my life miserable in many ways than one...
Like for example...Rizal Studies..not because of the subject matter really, but because of the teacher.
I'd like to hear from you guys...it's nice to know that some people share the same sentiment :)
:)PEACE :)

mine it's Comm 2 which essentially is
English Writing...actually, it's not the subject that i didn't like - it's the teacher, arghhhh :(
caramba, just wonderin' why you hate o.r. so much? i also had that subject as an elective and it's quite interesting, too bad our teacher than seems to lack enthusiasm in teaching the course...

i dont see the reason for having to study theology. if a prof tells me that the ultimate commandment is love thy neighbor. then during finals he asks a single question "what is the ultimate commandment?". and i answer love thy neighbor. i pass theology but did i learn anything. on the other hand if the nicest and kindest person didn't study for the finals because he had to help his parents with chores. then he fails. (food for thought) now i begin to sing: "...isn't it ironic? it's like rain on your wedding day. it's a free ride, when you're already late..." bottom line theology cant be taught in school that's why i hate it.

how about SA...socio-anthoropology? i did not learn anything from it. all my papers were pure BS :) i cudnt even understand the aussie accent of my teacher. she tried to make use of filipino words which seemed totally foreign to me (because of her pronunciation, that is). much, if not all, of what we took up could be thought up using one's common sense...

linear algebra was the worst...i liked linear programming even better
operations research is quite interesting but the really tough part is when you take the course as an M.E. major. then they teach you the REAL O.R.
Ma21 ... Grrrr...it's take 2 for me :(

because of the subject, java, accounting and calculus! because of the teacher, systems analysis and design, project management and yes, operations research (hehehehe!), but most of the time yung mga subjects na mababa grade ko, ayoko! hehehe! :)

I had a class called Mathematical Economics, which was basically advanced calculus and lots of matrices, to explain basic economic concepts. It was totally disgusting -- I remember proofs and solutions that took 4-5 blackboards to finish. I passed the class without learning anything at all. As much as I enjoyed a lot of economics classes, this one utterly and completely sucked.

Botany - Kasi HSP ang teacher ko...What does HSP mean -- HUMAN SLEEPING PILL!!!
Math 12 - because my stupid a**hole of a teacher hardly ever went to class, gave long test every time he'd show up without teaching the damn subject matter and flunked half the class.
Quantitative Statistics - because the miserable worm who passes himself off as a teacher, was so inept at mga crush lang niya at mga sipsip ang binigyan niya ng mataas na grade. Plus, hinde na nga nag-tuturo, wala pang ginagawa (the beadles were the ones who checked the papers and recorded the grades). Tapos nag-bigay ng mga makeup tests and finals at HINDE NIRECORD KAYA WALA RING NANGYARI SA GRADE!!! Buti na lang we got him FIRED!!! THERE'S JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD!!!

natalie_sod: Ang cute talaga ng nick mo! :) Anyway, in my opinion, these are some of the good elective teachers: Father Galdon, Queena Lee, and Fr. Nick Cruz. I forget the names of the others.

you hate english literature? blame your elementary and high school english teachers for wasting your time on stupid grammar classes!
me, i hate my natural science one.. it integrated newtonian, einsteinian, and quantum physics, organic and inorganic and other forms chemistry - all into one mind-wrecking subject. it's torture, considering i'm an english major.. :boom:

Calculus I,II,III and Differential Equation were not a problem to me, but Physics is hell. It's the hardest class I have ever taken.
