Has anyone heard of this course called SAP?
Its a crash course being offered here and being conducted by foreigners. SAP is a super hi tech program used by big corporations and is soon to be used here in the Phil. Businesses such as the Ayala, Lopez and SGV are now upgrading to an SAP ystem.
Can anyone shed light on this course.

SAP is a very expensive course, offered by the SAP company to the employees of companies that buy SAP Products. Basically, the people who undergo the SAP program return to their companies after the training course and work on making systems that make their respective divisions run more efficiently. Often, all of the SAP trainees work together under an SAP department and fuse together all of their projects to create synergies between all of their departments.
Employees who are sent to train under SAP are often given a two year contract by their mother companies, as the SAP training costs around 300,000 pesos or more. But from what I hear, people who have undergone SAP training find that their stock has increased because SAP consultants are heavily sought after by both foreign and local companies.

Yeah, It sure is an expensive training course. SAP is a German based software company that offers packaged system applications for every aspect of business. SAP is divided into many modules depending on what your company needs. A few examples are Human Resources, Plant Maintenance, Asset Management etc. It also has it's SAP-Retail, SAP IS-OIL (for the oil industry) and many others. Among the local companies already using the SAP system are Shell, Caltex, Procter and Gamble, San Miguel, Petron Corporation and Smart (I think they're in the design stage already).
To learn more about SAP is a continuing process, coz like I said, it is comprised of many different modules, and that does not include the programming language for SAP w/c is called ABAP programming. If you can master this language, then you're worth about $7000 - $10000 dollar abroad.

It's meaning in German, “Systemanalyse and Programmentwicklung.” Since then, that company has become SAP (Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing).
Jay-zzz: I tell you, it's very expensive, and it's courses has prerequisites. SAP Philippines is the only one authorized to conduct the training.

For a five day course (any module), the prices range from P7000 - P10000 a day....
That expensive!!!!
Jay-zZz
Jan 17, 2000, 12:52 AM
I think its worth it considering the fact that local companies are willing to pay 50 to 100,000 a month for your skills. :D
Does anyone here know someone who has taken this course already? I'd like to ask about the salary and other stuff.

Jan 17, 2000, 09:13 AM
I know that some of the employees from my previous company have already taken SAP and are currently working on their respective modules to upgrade the company's systems. I am not in touch with them anymore so I have no idea what they are going through.
That company by the way is Ramcar.

It's a very big decision early on in your career so make sure that you know what SAP is before getting into it. With the amount of money you would have to put into it to be a part of the course, you better make sure that it's what you want to do in the next five years or so.

we had a talk in class once by an SAP consultant and yes it is a lot of money! At the time he was giving the talk, he was working with the inventory of Penshoppe, i think. He said that SAP Philippines has about 20 people ... i'm not so sure but it's really a low hierarchy company and they earn a lot! He mentioned that La Salle is offering the program ...

whoah! tone down with your expectations on SAP. I'm not an IT guy but I'm working with a company that uses SAP. Basically, progressive companies have linked the entire length and breadth of their supply chain + the accounting side thru one system. This thing even facilitates comprehensive reporting of anything happening in the company in real time. translates to -->; you can check out profitability of departments, projects, customers or inventory levels (real time), etc. etc. There are other similar systems running in other companies like BPCS which is used by Nestle and Unilever.
Now on the salary part, usually these companies hire companies like Pricewaterhouse or other consultancy firms to help run this. These "consultants" try to bridge the gap from the complex IT side to what management will need. These "consultants" don't make P50,000. SAP is pretty expensive so companies that use this are often very big and hire comparatively large companies to manage their systems. I haven't heard of small coporations that hire lone consultants to setup and maintain their SAP. Well not locally at least.

Not to be negative here but I've heard that companies who have gotten SAP are not satisfied with what they offer, espcially since SAP is very expensive.
A couple of reasons for their dissatisfaction: SAP software still has bugs and some SAP consultants are not very good. I have some concrete examples if anyone wants to know...
My advice to those who want to take SAP -- don't limit yourself to this. Try to expand your knowledge in I.T. Technology is very fast-paced and you have to keep up with what is most useful for your clients. Be up-to-date. Have a thirst for learning on your own.

Enterprise software is software that gets sold to a so-called enterprise. If you know English well, you might think an “enterprise” is something brave, noble, and dangerous, like starting a small business, but in this case, “enterprise” is used to mean the opposite: it means a large, risk-averse company, whose executives use the term to flatter themselves by pretending that they’re engaged in something brave, noble, and dangerous. Now, these “enterprises” use a lot of software, but most of the software they use doesn’t get sold to the “enterprise” itself; it gets sold to one of the employees of the “enterprise”, who has the authority to spend $400 or whatever to get the software they personally use to do their job, if it’s not free. That’s not “enterprise” software, because it’s sold to an individual, not a so-called enterprise.
Software that has to be sold to an “enterprise”, where some manager must be persuaded to use his purchasing authority to buy the software, is different in a variety of ways from other software. None of these ways are strictly technical.
The first difference is that “enterprise software” costs more. Software that doesn’t cost a lot generally doesn’t need managerial buy-in to be bought (although other factors may interfere; for example, everyone has to use the same bug-tracking system for it to work); software that needs managerial buy-in generally needs expensive salespeople to persuade managers to buy their software; and managers everywhere have a well-known perverse incentive to expand their budgets.
The second difference is that “enterprise software” doesn’t necessarily work, although it can usually be made to work with sufficient effort. If you’re spending $50 000 on a piece of software, it seems more reasonable to spend $1000 or $10 000 to customize it to your needs before you can actually use it. In extreme cases, such as ClearCase and Oracle, a team of expensive, specialized full-time employees must be dedicated to keeping the software operational.
The nontechnical nature of many managers, in addition to the perverse incentives in many managerial structures, often mean that enterprise software does not have to work at all, no matter how much effort is applied to make it work, in order to sell well.
The third difference is that enterprise software is surrounded by consultants who will sell you the service of making it work, as explained above. In some cases, these ecosystems of consultants are competent and highly skilled. In other cases, such as the case of Java, many of them are spectacularly incompetent, vociferous in their ignorance, and prone to attack competing systems. This proceeds directly from the sales process for “enterprise software,” in which highly-paid persuaders gull technically incompetent managers into adopting the software. If the managers were technically incompetent in selecting the software in the first place, they will also not be able to distinguish between competent consultants and incompetent consultants, so incompetent consultants will flourish along with the competent ones — who will eventually get sick of it and go elsewhere.
I didn’t really understand this until KnowNow, the startup I worked at, got turned into an enterprise software company by its VCs and management; although I had previously had the opportunity to observe most of the pieces of the puzzle, I clung to the idea that “enterprise software” was actually technically better in some way from the software I was used to using. It turns out that the differences are entirely social, not technical, and one of the major differences is that “enterprise software” is under much less pressure to have any technical merit. Just to give you an insider view of things. :)

I think Globe Telecom, Smart Telecom and San Miguel Corp. also have SAP trainings.
With Accenture, I think it depends on what project they assign you. You're lucky if you get to study SAP. Otherwise, you end up learning a different language.
I did try to apply in RAMCAR last year, but a friend discouraged me as she said their bond was 2M php for 2 years. That was for a SAP trainee.

Base dun sa offer nila, competitive na yung monetary benefits nya sa local market pero mababa pa den compared sa mga US or Jap-owned companies na naka-base sa Pinas. Considering na US company ang Accenture, one would expect na ka-level nya yung ibang US companies in terms of monetary benefits. OK daw fringe benefits pero I'm not interested sa mga leaves at saka covered na ako at mga anak ko ng health benefits ng wife ko. Opinion ko lang po.
Kung newly grad ka siguro mas malaki ang starting sa Accenture kesa karamihan.

Malabo iexpect na ka-level ng Manila Delivery Centre ang sahod ng US Delivery Centre kasi that would break the purpose of outsourcing IT jobs here in Manila.
Tungkol sa sahod mas mataas sya compared sa mga Philippine companies and somehow (somehow ha) pumapangalawa or pumapangatlo sa mga top US based companies dito sa Pinas.
Kung gusto mong mag-focus talaga sa career mo sa IT as an employee or you want to build your own empire soon Accenture is a good place to work mapa fresh grad ka or old grad ka na gustong ibuild ang IT skills mo lalo na sa development and also people skills.
@Kate Jones
Sa Accenture, marami kang clients and most of them nasa Top 500 Fortune Companies.

I've worked and helped 2 American companies (http://www.occinc.net/ and the other momentarilly slipped my mind) sa start up ng BPO nila dito sa Pinas.... walang sinabi sahod ng Accenture.
The wife is currently helping one HongKong-based company (AEON) para mag-start up din ng BPO dito sa Pinas. Again, walang sinabi monetary benefits ng Accenture.
Pero tama ka and I have already mentioned this, compared sa local IT market competitive na ang sahod ng Accenture kung less than 5 years experience ka!

SAP is an application or system that is now being use by many multinational corporations such as Nestle... P&G... and the likes.
You can bring home BIG bucks when you know how to do SAP programs. I suggest your friend may want to research and learn 1st programs like RTCIS, ORACLE, ABAP and UNIX.
To be a certified SAP Specialist or SAP Consultant, you need to get certification from SAP Philippines and after that your career will sell like hotcakes. and certification program will cost you PHP 250,000- 300,000, that includes training and some manuals.
SAP specialist is currently in demand in HK, New Zealand, Singapore and etc. Here in Philippines, if you are part of a good SAP conultants firm, most multinational companies are willing to pay as high as $700/hour. Nestle Phils pays $500/hour for a SAP consultant with good credentials. Bale hati na yung consultant firm tyka yung SAP consultant.
If you wanna travel around the world for free to implement such programs and projects and you graduated from ADMU, DLSU, FEU, UP and UA&P with job experience or with Freshgrad but with excellent scholastic records, you can pursue careers with HP Hong Kong LTd that holds office in SMPC Building, they are hiring right now. Yes you can! *okay* FastTrack offers Free SAP B1 Career Orientation for both I.T and Non-IT professionals ( e.g. Business grads, or career-shifters like you). Basically, they will just give you brief overview of what SAP B1 is and the expectations for you to become a Certified SAP B1 Consultant.

^^ It will be plus factor for the SAP trainee but not really a pre-requisite. SAP Consultants do a little or or almost no programming. However, good analytical thinking and problem solving skills are still MUST HAVES. Normally, SAP Consultants just do the analysis of the business needs, SAP installation, configuration, implementation based on the needs of their client, and testing.
Should the clients wish customized features aside from what SAP can give, dito na papasok ang SAP programmers - which requires separate training and certification.

^pano yung HP sa RSC Makati? May mga global opportunities pa rin kaya for their SAP specialists?
If you will be assign as an ITO SPecialist 1 or Technical SUpport Specialist, from your start date 99% Out-of-the-country ka na for a project. Pag pasok m kasi ng HP, regular na kagad position mo, *** ng probi probi. Tapos mga 3 days *** bootcamp or training, sabak ka na agad sa projects.
Like what I've said, if your a fresh grad from a reputable school, go try your luck. Anyway, intensive training and similar job experience of 3yrs is ok as an in lieu for a degree. Hindi sya tulad ng call center na one day process, kasi mga iinterview syo mga 4 na Managers and that would be different dates or days kasi since mga Manager yun, laging may meeting and other commitments. And the final result depends if all of them agree na they should hire you... they will hire you...:bashful:
Starting usually is 20K up and *** p mga benefits dun and other freebies. Tyka pag ngwork ka sa HP, *** ka na ring bumalik ng college dahil puro gimik... travel... parties and etc. Same time, feeling mo MTV VJ or music artist ka dhil mahilig mgshoot ng videos tpos dub nyo mga famous songs and etc...:rotflmao:
*okay* Yung HP sa Robinson Summit, nandun yung mga Manager na iinterview sa inyo pag plano nyo mag explore ng career with HP. Tapos yung bagong building kasi di na nga kasya mga employee sa RSC inilagay sa SMPC. Kaya yujng iba nga imbes the 2 day *** work from home nagiging 2 days na dhil sa dami ng mga new hires.:naughty:

Gamitin mo google at magtiayaga kang maghanap ng SAP manuals. Dami free materials dyan. you dont need to enrol just to learn SAP(unless you want to get certified). At Syempre pag galing sa internet libre!!! pirated nga lang. Imagine mo magbabayad ka ng 36K to enroll compared to, let's say, 300 pesos of googling. gazzillion ang difference bro. Pwede ka nga bumili ng N95 sa na-save mong pera.
FYI.. the materials given by these sap school are now free on net. by boss was a student of a SAP school and they were given SAP materials. When i compared her materials to the ones i downloaded from the net, viola!! they're all the same. Mas updated pa nga yung sa akin e.

Yep. Iba pa rin ang may certificate/training experience kesa sa self-study. Mahirap patunayan na may natutunan ka nga sa self-study sessions mo during interview.

The best way to learn SAP is to apply for an entry level SAP position. You'll get the training, the experience and at least may sweldo ka pa. SAP training is really expensive and the training materials (the official ones) are not designed for self-learning. Saka siyempre kailangan may SAP ka talaga na naka install. Di naman yan katulad ng Java na libre at pwede i-self study. Just like any other IT skills, kailangan talaga sya i-hands on training

Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but I figured it would be better rather than creating the same topic.
I was just wondering, is it worth it to shell out around 400k for the SAP education? Will you really be able to grasp the concepts and be ready for certification and actual practice after such a short time?
I have had some 5day training courses kasi from Oracle and DB wizards, and from those rushed courses, I can say that they're really not that effective at all... ~_~; OK lang if around 30k lang yung training.. but SAP training is no joke.

aeneas
Oct 7, 2007, 02:22 AM
the program is usually 5 weeks.
after the 5-week program, you will then take the certification exam.
normally, the coverage of the 5-week program is the same scope of the exam as well; so its actually more on training you to pass the certification exam.
if you were to ask me, the program is not worth it. yes, you may be a SAP certified after that program and it can guarantee you bigger paycheck and higher asking price if you apply; but, once you are already in the workforce, experience is still your best bet.
i've been in the SAP industry for three years already. have participated in one full-cycle implementation and currently in production support for what we have implemented. i was able to work with someone who tool the SAP training from SAP Academy in Thailand; she's now SAP certified but I must say that she is outshined by those who are not SAP certified but have been working with SAP for at least a year.
my suggestion is that you look for companies that would hire you as entry level and will give you SAP training and then build your skills along the way. it is worth it than shelling out 400K for a program that would train you to pass the certification exam.

hi! newbie here, first post. :)
anyway, i think if you're paying for it yourself, it's too much.
but it's a 5 week course, they teach you the concepts and how to do configuration and dati may case study pa then the certification exam.
i think it's better to take the course when you have a little background na on sap, more so if you have experience na.
when i attended the academy 8 years ago (250k pa lang non, and good that the company paid for it!), i didn't know what sap was about and medyo nahirapan ako sa start.
i have been a sap consultant since but most of what i know i learned from actual experience, not from the academy. i'm not saying the academy is useless, it's just that you learn more from actual experience than by attending the class.
by experience i mean doing implementations, not just using the system as an end-user.
if you can find a company willing to provide sap training, i'd say that would be a better option.

I'm working as a SAP ABAP Programmer for 2.5 years now and I came to learn SAP just by working. I didn't attend any training by the company or by an external academy, I just learned it by myself.
But the way to do this is to be employed as a programmer in a company that runs SAP. It is highly likely that you'll get the opportunity to learn SAP there. If no one wants to teach you, then teach yourself. This is also very applicable specially to those who do not want to spend thousands or be bonded for that training.
my 2 cents.

RosesofShadow is right.. if you want to be a SAP Consultant, you dont need special training. you just have to apply for companies like accenture, mytsfi and the rest that will provide you training.
for abap and sap basis.. you might want to download minisap.. (mejo mahirap nga lang hanapin) para lang makapag practice kayo and download ebooks..

Right. You don't need to spend hundreds of thousands for that training and still ending up jobless because employers hire you for your experience and not because you passed a certain certification. A certification is only a plus but not required. Nasa tiyaga lang yan at pagpupursige kumbaga... Goodluck to all.

try fasttrack. if you don't have any experience, you have to take their course which are basic and advance and would cost 41k. so parang binayaran mo sila para hire ka nila. but it's a consultancy firm.
this is business one, which is catered to small-medium enterprises. not R3.

NNOR and p0tchi, what modules were you users of?
i just hired a junior sap pm support person a couple of months ago, and last week lang i hired a i junior sap ps support person naman. we train in-house and then we send people to the academy after they pass the probationary period. sayang.
anyway, like Xeth mentioned, you may opt for SAP B1, which is designed specifically for SMEs. but it is SAP B1 and it is not core SAP so it's different. but it's a start and you can eventually shift.
or go to the kaisa academy. but personally, i think their curriculum is different from the sap academy's. we have one staff who took the mm course na at kaisa. not sure if it was any good because he's not in my team.
or try the software factory thread here. sometimes they offer training.
or at the companies you work for, do you have an in-house support team? baka you can transfer there if may opening.
sorry not much help. i don't do consulting anymore kasi.

Jul 12, 2008, 01:35 AM
earth4, do you do sap support as well, as in troubleshoot issues?
if you conduct training, then you're probably a power/super user?
sometimes kasi experience in doing support may have bearing and may compensate for the lack of implem experience. but this depends on how long you have been doing support and the level/kind of support you provide.
or if the company's sap system is global, there is most likely a central support team that does application support (like do bug fixes, upgrades, etc) so the local office might require in-house support pero first level lang kasi you eventually have to escalate to the central support team. if you are part of the in-house team, you will have contact with the central team so you can eventually transition.

earth4, NNOR,
going to the sap academy does not also guarantee you will get a job as a sap consultant. i have a friend who took the abap course, paid for it himself, but had a hard time finding an abap job because he had no experience. the same would probably go for online training, if there are any online training facilities. i don't know of anything, sorry.
i think experience still has more bearing than training. but that is my opinion lang.
you may want to try going into the sap consulting companies that offer training kahit may bond because that is just the way it is sometimes. when i went to the academy in 1999, i had a 2-year bond pero worth 250,000 lang. ganon pa kasi siya kamura dati. but that is how it is.
do you escalate straight away to the US team or do you do some troubleshooting on your own.
kasi samin din, the central support team is abroad but before we escalate, we have a local team that tries to solve the issue muna. if it's just data or process issues, we resolve locally. if it's system issues or something that needs debugging or something more complex, we do an initial assessment of the issue then we escalate.
one of my senior staff is now actually qualified to move to the central support team pero junior lang siya don paglipat niya kasi wala siyang config/implem experience.
if the set-up in your company is somehow similar, you might want to see if that option is viable for you.

Jul 12, 2008, 11:39 AM
mb065, what do you do now? what are your career paths after consulting? kasi sa consulting the highest would be project manager na ata tapos magbranch out ka na.
i am in-house sap support team lead and i manage sap improvement projects. parang implem projects pero smaller scale. we implement what i recommend/design/conceptualize, which is the part i like. i do not like the implementation part so much because i manage, i don't do the "dirty" work.
i left the consulting world as a senior consultant. i was being given projects outside the country but i am one of the few who prefer to stay in the philippines so i resigned. then my old client wanted me back so i moved to one of their other contractors and until now do support for them.
i am also one of the few who do not wish to become project manager. i like doing the troubleshooting myself. i also like doing implems/config as a consultant, not as a manager. nam-miss ko na nga mag-config and attempted to go back to being a consultant. but the companies i have talked to can't afford to take me on as a senior consultant anymore kasi hindi na pang local ang billing rate ko. dapat pang project manager na or clients abroad para higher billing rate.

i'm currently taking up B1. pero more on exposure to the technology ang reason ko. kainis nga ang mga company ngayon. if you want to go with sap, the companies requires you to have at least 2-3 yrs experience. so san ka magsisimula if nobody is willing to hire beginners? they're cheap, they don't want to pay for your training or waste time in training you.
don't get me wrong. there are companies who will hire fresh grads or beginners but you'll be placed in support. you will be very very lucky if you managed to get in a consultancy firm because you get to do a cycle. from proposal, business process, development, implementation support.
i'm actually thinking about studying ITIL foundation v3 as well just to get an edge in applying in multinational companies. i want to go to the management area as well. eventually a PMP certification. I do plan to go abroad kasi.
what's you're take on this mb065? certifications are always a plus right?

meron atleast 3 companies na nag hi-hire even without experience with SAP. ex. bayantrade, supply chain and net logic.
Xeth
Jul 12, 2008, 01:17 PM
actually i have an application pending with supply chain. :)
bayantrade, software factory walang opening
i applied with kaisa consulting, but they told me i was overqualified which was dumbfounding since wala naman akong experience sa SAP.
mb065
Jul 12, 2008, 02:38 PM
bayantrade has current openings. madami nga actually. pero i think puro experienced ang kailangan nila.
i think one reason why companies sometimes prefer experienced people (with say 1-2 implem cycles) is because it is expensive to train. but when i was starting out, most, if not all, of the consulting companies really would send people to the sap academy.
i took a full sap academy course in 1999 and i took another in 2001 pero half lang, hindi ko natapos kasi i had to be deployed. ngayon bihira na that they send you to the sap academy. yes, they train but sometimes in-house (like tsfi) or they are training partners themselves (like kaisa, and i think bayantrade).
but Xeth, certification is not always a plus. case to case basis pa din, imho.
i am not even certified. nakakahiya mang aminin, hindi ako pumasa nung 1999 but i still got lucky in other ways. nagkataon the module i handle is not so common so i got good exposure and my experience has made my "pedigree".
siguro kung medyo mas common yung module mo and madami kayo, it could be an edge. but i am only talking about sap certification here ha.
i don't know about other certifications. my husband is ITIL certified but that hasn't played a significant role in his applications. he's a project manager now, IT also but not sap.
i don't think there's nothing wrong with starting out in support because it is a good way to learn also. and since there are not very many companies who need to implement (because either they already have it or they can't afford it or their headquarters prefer some other erp), mahirap na din maghanap ng implem work. mas mahirap now than before, of course.
this is just my opinion. i have been out of consulting since 2006 and have been doing support since 2003 so i do not have that much first-hand knowledge on how the market is anymore.
and in case anyone asks, i did 3 full cycle implems before i moved to support. and yes i do get bored doing support sometimes and i really miss doing implems. but i do not miss the stress. i get to do small scale projects pa din naman so that helps to keep me going. and i get paid well, i know higher than my sap contemporaries who are still here in the philippines. and i do not work overtime nor am i ever on-call. so win-win for me. :)

oh yeah i was told that the training of supply chain was in house. so i'm guessing there's no certification involve. and it has a 3 year bond.

Hi,
Accenture provides in depth exposure to SAP implementation (end to end). On some, it is also equipped with months of on-shore work (mostly European countries). But take note. It all depends on the client you handle.
Doing support work is not bad, actually, it would help you understand SAP process from the other side (similar to reverse engineering) becuase you will find the problem from an already working system. nice huh?

this looks good but how will we be able to study without an actual system to play around with? sap's certification courses require a lot of hands-on training; i'm not sure how an online course with screenshots can help explain the intricacies of such a large application.
i've tried playing around with sap and it doesn't look that simple at all na puwedeng kapain lang.

I have attended 2 SAP Education Training courses delivered by Kaisa. Experience is NOT required to take the certification exams.
Actually, naka package yung training ng Kaisa. Yung tinatawag nilang SAP Academy package is Training plus Certification Exam.
The disadvantage is 1 week lang yung pagitan ng cert exam and the last day of the training so you only have a few days to review. Yung mga classmates ko sa training na nagtake hindi pumasa.

To clarify everything, experience of about 2 years is REQUIRED to take the exam if did not participate in the academy and plan to do self-study. However, if you participated in the academy, experience is not required (ex. after graduation, you took sap academy then examination). A personnel from SAP verified these facts. You may call up for confirmation.

Depends on the company, average would be from 15k-30k. Most of them would also bond you since you don't have any experience on SAP yet. I think the benefits of being an sap consultant starts when you have about 2 years experience already since that is the time when companies are willing to pirate you and pay double or triple.
Think of it as an investment thought.

nakapagtraining ako ng SAP Business One Basic... kaso ang daming loopholes... talagang basic lang kasi tinuro sa amin and for browsing and familiarity lang yung kinuha ko hehe...

Usually kasi kapag SAP Business1 or FTB mga browsing and simple configuration. Iba talaga kapag SAP modules ang kukunin mo. Right now, may mga bagong exploded modules na magkakaron like SAP APO w/c also called for SAP SCM may branch na sya like DP - Demand Planning, SNP - Supply Network Planning, GATP - Global Available to Promise, & BI/BPS - Business Intelligence. Mawawala na in the near future yun MM, SD, WH, Logistic dahil course included na sya dun sa mga modules na yun. And then dami pang lalabas na bago may XI pa, pati yung SAPPHIRE na hanggang ngayon wala sa Pinas. Basta lahat ng abbreviation lalabas baka nga MIB magkaron, joke lang lagi kasi tayong serious dito. hihihi. Sige bye, hanggang sa muli.

Its all in the list, it would be better to inquire it first. And then you will know, and the HR will definitely help you out. Practice your outsourcing skills its 1 of the criteria that we are looking for SAP. I know its in you, just go go go. And good luck.
FastTrack, ABM Computech and Informatics caters only FTBs or SAP Business1. Thanks, Seeya for another new updates.

mr. kyposa_trooper, I have inquire for Logica and they said they're open for SAP Trainees, they schedule me for an interview, and I have been to there office at Trafalgar Plaza in Makati, and i'm coming from San Mateo, Rizal. And I failed my interview because they told me they are in need with SAP working experience to be trained for SAP trainee. 'Ang laki kaya ng naaksaya kong pamasahe kay sa na kain ko on that day, naman bat sila ganun'. Di ba kaya nga trainee para ma trained ka dun sa SAP pero bat nanganga-ilangan ng working experience, nakaka loka sila. I have just wasted my time and money, kainis. Sir kyposas di po ako sanyo galit, bat lang naman sila ganun nagsasabi sila ng may open na SAP Trainee tapos kailangan meron working experience pala, abnormal.

Wow, ms. chesca nakikidalamhati ako w/ you in LOGICA, yes mayron silang opening for all different modules FI/CO, APO, SCM, BI for SAP Trainees but they're in need with people with previous experience on entpr resource planning meaning you should have hands on with SAP R/3 or other software though you have experience from accounting, procurement, IT or business mgt wala din. We can't blame them for there being pointless, at least you have tried your best, and that's good enough. And hindi lang LOGICA ang ganyan marami pang iba. Pls. PM me with your e-mail here, but not in this forums, so let's see if we could help. And same as with everybody hope you have learn something to prevent the inevitable, para di na tayo padalodalos. Workee, hope you have find something new today. And don't stop trying to reach your goal, stumble and fall, is a part of one step at a time. God Bless.

Oo nga its very expensive. kaya nga when the issue was raised na sobrang mahal ng training, someone suggested to apply sa mga companies na makapag provide ng SAP trainings. Sa Kaisa nga may mga package sila for career shifters tapos maka pag loan kapa sa bangko kaso lang ang problema is after sa training mo kung may kukuha sa iyong company. Also puno ka pa sa utang. hehe.

Let us help each other and list companies that hire people for SAP with minimal experience so that we have a direction to pursue.

You are correct. eAcademy will only be pure lectures in which you have to do self study. After you pass the examination, that's the time you will be deployed to projects for your "hands on training."
If you are referring to Kaisa, I believe they will bond you for your training.

That you need to study hard also, you need to stand up on your own. And not rely to much anyone in here. Some of the given details are already on this forum for SAP Training. Some others may ups and down lang talaga, tha't why we are here or di lang ako or any1 na magspeak up para malaman kung yung certain company na inaapplyan natin ay credible para satin. All in this group and are already giving enough some of the perks. We only need is to apply it. Pasensya na nagbasabihan lang ho ako ng ibang mga active members dito. Me too I do have a bad reputation for the company of LOGICA GSD Philippines formerly LogicCMG. Me, though I do have certification training from KAISA and its not just an eAcademy they did'nt get me as well or hire me. Because I didn't came from a company with previous working experience. You need to present them a COE that you work with a company before that deals with SAP, although I do present a good Certification from of SAP FICO for KAISA. OK, lang kasi mamababa naman yung given salary nila, some of my friends there who works for SAP aalis na din sila after the mass hiring for SAP, there client expect to much, but they gave less to there employees.

Kaisa will not train you anymore, the training is already the Academy you attended. Instead, it will hire you as one of their employee (with low pay I think). Being one of there employee, they can now send you to one of their clients where you can apply what you have learned in the academy.
Anyway, I believe by browsing back this topic, you will know more about it. Just be resourceful.

You cannot get a free SAP training if you're not bonded. The company will also consider its interests as well.
