Bago ang lahat, let's all congratulate these 3 students of Ateneo Law for beating 3 participants from UP Law in this year's Jessup Moot Court competition.

Now to the topic:

Maraming nagpapakamatay after flunking UP-LAE. (Marami sa mga bikitimang ito hindi lang na nami-media.) For most "elite" Law wannabes kasi, it's really UP Law or nothing. Almost all students in Ateneo, San Beda and UST Law schools are the so-called UP rejects, meaning they went there because they were not accepted in UP Law, regarded as the most famous and most prestigious Law School in the Philippines and one of the most highly regarded Law Schools in Asia. (The President of the HARVARD CLUB of ASIA is an alumnus of UP Law!) Marami ng nababalitang success ang alumni ng UP. In fact, this country is almost run by UP Law alumni, so blame the UP Law education for the mess of our country.

Look at these 3 Law students of Ateneo who won this year's Jessup competition and will be representing the Philippines - they all flunked UP LAE but are now winning a debate contest against the mighty UP Law Students. Remember, a David sometimes win in a battle so does Ateneo Law students...

yes, there is still hope after receiving a letter of rejection from UP Law. in fact, some of those that were rejected in UP Law have ended up acing the BAR exams.

and some even won in Jessup Moot Court competitions.

^ Don't feel so bitter just because the Ateneo is the best law school in the Philippines as proven by the Ateneans' performance in the Bar exams (highest average passing rate in the past 14 years) and, more recently, their winning and sweeping all the awards in the Jessup Moot Court competition (and possible Back-To-Back WORLD CHAMPIONS). There's no need for you to hype and lie about UP's achievements. Everyone knows UP is also good despite the fact that San Beda has the 2nd best historical passing average (after Ateneo).

^ ^ ^ Yes, many times. But the average is 94% during the last 14 years. UP's average is in mid 80% range.

check out the history of the BAR and you'll know that the only school that had 100% passing is UP.

i think we need more engineers than lawyers actually. hehe....=P

if you fail UP-LAE, you could always try for Harvard. heck, kung nagawa nina GMA and Miriam, then it probably means they have lower standards than UP. hehe....

on topic: oo naman. kahit naman mga UPLAE rejects ang nasa Ateneo Law School, reputable law school pa naman din sila, next to San Beda and UST. :D

^ ^ Grammatical errors and subject-verb mistakes are a trademark of somebody in PEx. We all know who that person is. UPian pa naman at Warwick pa daw kuno.

i don't get why people here in pex are very bitter. to the point of bashing schools that as if they are well, famous and successful.

and i find it lame that passing upcat or acet is an achievement for you. (some people kasi here are insisting that passing upcat or acet is an achievement)
