I chose UPdiliman and I'm having a hellish time right now...I shouldn't have chosen that course! If it was something else out of the Engineering I would be doing much better. But then again, UP can be lots of fun! :)

During my college days, I kept wondering how it was in UP, UST or Ateneo.I fell asleep in the UST entrance exam for about 5 mins and was surprised to see my name among the list of applicants who passed...hehe! I liked my course in UST but did not like the campus, the girls were cute though especially the exam administrator...hehe.

took up journalism..covered ust's championship run early in the 90's..became editor of the varsitarian...wrote sports pieces for the bulletin....finished accountancy...topped the cpa board, putting an exclamation point to an almost decade-long stay in ust...

I took the UPCAT and the ACET because these two schools were my top two choices back then. Almost everyone (except one) in my batch took the UPCAT because most students from our school go to Manila and UP for college (I'm from Davao kasi). I passed both but I went to Ateneo because my parents didn't want me to get involved in any fraternity (kinda babaw 'no? it was the time of the frat scares kasi).
Oh, and just for fun, I took the Mindanao State University exam because I would get exempted from attending one CAT session. All of us who took it passed (I got a rating of 99.97%--sheesh!) and were spared from a stressful day under the sun for a measly sum of PhP 50.

Yes, it's true. Ateneo has an ECE course. The first batch will graduate next school year. Knowing Ateneo's track record for producing top graduates, one can only expect more competition in future ECE licensure exams.

went to up diliman because i was assured of a scholarship, thanks to the SK. never regretted my stay there because of all the things i learned, people i met, org i joined, and places i went to....

UP or nothing, although got cold feet near the end, so i took the exam in UST. passed both though sayang 300 peso fee sa UST. bumili nalang sana ako ng damit.

i took three college entrance tests: UPCAT, ACET, and that of UST's. first choice ko sa UP BA and tanggap ako. Sa ateneo, ang binigay sa 'king course is BA Psych and luckily, i'm a full scholar din (hindi ako nagyayabang ha, i'm just being honest-hehehe). then sa ust, i was also accepted sa course na BA. so anong university ang pinili ko? siempre UP dil!!! iba na ang maging iska! in fact, i know someone who is an oblation scholar (UP) and at the same time, a merit scholar (ateneo) but he preferred to study in UP, wherelese? well, i think it still depends on the person on how he manages his studies. the name of the school doesn't really speak for itself. nasa tao pa rin 'yan!

it was a hard choice between Ateneo and DLSU because of the courses I got accepted into. In the end, I chose Ateneo. I figured if I got bored with PolSci I can always shift to Computer Science here. Ended up staying in PolSci all the way. Loved every minute of it.

after 2 school years i moved to the States...applied to Cooper Union (hahaha...i had high hopes that i could get in...in my dreams :( ), Columbia U, nyu, fordham, cuny, suny, PSU, upenn and BU....got accepted as a transfer student at nyu, fordham, psu, cuny and BU....went to hunter cuny....why? as my friends from stuyvesant high school and bronx sci high (VERY good science high schools in nyc) who went to cuny-hunter said "f*ck MIT, columbia & caltech...f*ck all the ivy leagues..."

im supposed to start my fall 2001 semester at fordham but due to circumstances beyond my control (naks drama :lol: ) we had to move to texas....sadly, i havent made up my mind yet on where to go ....schools that i applied to and accepted me: UT austin, rice u and texas a&m....

passed all, ended in Ateneo (Math). why not up? i mean, up is an excellent school, but i wanted to go to continue my studies in a catholic school. when i was in the ateneo, i found out na ang babaw naman ng reason ko, as if being in a catholic school will answer all my questions. anyway, absolutely no regrets! i enjoyed my stay in admu and i'm glad it was the school i chose, because i learned a lot!

passed all. ended up in ateneo, math. why not up? it's an excellent school, and i was really happy when i found out i passed the upcat, but i wanted to continue my studies in a catholic school. then when i got in (ateneo), i found out na ang babaw naman ng reason ko. as if being in a catholic school will give me all the answers to all my questions. but for making me realize that it is not so, i am grateful for my ateneo education. i made the right decision (and this has got nothing to do with me not choosing up!). i'm happy that i ended up here in ateneo (because i'm still here, but i graduated a few years ago). :)

UST (Physical Therapy) - did not take the test anyways cuz I got hold of the results of the other two before I was scheduled to take the test. What's the point? (no offense)

I went to DLSU. I didn't even know why i wrote in Biology for UP, I realized I vomit at the sight of corpses and dead animals. Anyways, DLSU's compsci program ain't peanuts...it's difficult to get thru, and MANY of my batchmates had to shift because they cudn't stomach the difficulty.

i took UP, ateneo, la salle & ust entrnace exams. i passed in UP, ateneo & la salle. lahat first choice - BS CS. hindi ko na tiningnan yung result ng test ko sa ust. Ateneo ang pinili ko. :)

Got accepted in all the schools I applied to: Ateneo (BS Mgt Eng), UP (Ind Eng), and DLSU (Ind Eng).

Chose Ateneo. Why? Because of its academic standards and reputation and the track record of the previous graduates who took the Mgt Eng course. In addition, the wholistic education appealed to me since it is basically a training for life, not just the technical skills one needs for his/her first job.

Why not UP? Because of the environment - that is, the frat culture and the student activism can be a distraction.

Why not La Salle? Honestly, this was a contingency plan for me just in case I didn't get accepted in Ateneo or UP.
