Pipol,

I'm from La Salle but I won't stop you from writing down your suggestions if you're from another school.

Actually, this is for Tapat and Santugon members, officers, whatever. If you really want to serve the students, maybe you should answer this question: how can we stop tuition fee increase?

I think one way of reducing tuition fee increase is for educational institutions to find alternative income generating mechanisms aside from relying on tuition fees as the chief source of income. Specifically, the resources of the institution may be offered to the market for a certain fee (i.e. professional fee for expertise services, facilities fee for use of facilities, etc).

more than 85% of the school's fund comes from tuition fees. it is really hard to stop tuition fee hikes without the teachers and faculties not being affected... well, would that mean they also stop getting salary increases?

Personally, I hate school's 10% annual tuition fee adjustment. I loathe it.

How to stop it? Hmm...

the students have been fighting for TFI even before the martial law.
The students never stopped fighting against the TFI, so the government must do something.

You can't......Tuition fee increased are sanctioned by DECS rules and regulations which are considered binding as laws.

ONLY SOLUTION: STUDY HARD!!!!! :D

(To be continued)

Haaay nako!! ITS TRU!!! Year in and year out they fight each other thinking that the other party isthe worst or walang sinabi. What they dont see is how S*up*d their organizations are.

But I think La Salle is settingup a fund to address this issue.

Sori got carried away with the Political party thing.

Here's one proposal:

Students = cheap labor. To the extent that reducing labor costs will alleviate the need for high tuition, why not reduce labor costs by having the students work on campus?

Reshelving books in the libraries, helping correct test papers, clerical work, even washing dishes in the cafeteria. Students in the United States do these things all the time.

The question is, will you?

I think tuition fee increase is inevitable. kahit anong iyak natin sa mendiola o kahit saan it's up to the administrations of "non-profit" schools daw kung magtataas sila ng tuition.
This question goes to the peeps na malakas ang luob, matibay ang sikmura at maayos pa ang turnilyo sa ulo na tatakbo his coming lections: I'm also from La Salle, *** and we pay a damned amount of money just to have an air-conditioning system na guto ng mag-retire. Anong MAIPAPANGAKO nyo?
