Binisita ko ulit ang site ng andersen nagbabakasakaling may makita pa ako, pagkatapos mag load ng page meron pa silang business address pero wala na iyong mga iba pang mga importanteng laman.

Ano na ba ang latest news sa kanila? Are they still in business maski na kakaunti? Ang last na alam ko bumagsak sila dahil sa account nilang Enron.

Buti ang SGV na dating Andersen eh hindi gaanong naapektuhan.

Andersen LLP = the US accounting/auditing partnership. It was convicted of obstruction of justice charges due to the Enron scandal and because of that, surrendered its CPA license in the US. The conviction has recently been overturned so maybe Andersen can audit again, although it might take a while as most of its people have left. Andersen LLP still has to settle numerous pending civil lawsuits regarding its accounting practice.

Accenture = formerly Andersen Consulting; seceded from Andersen in 2001 long before the Enron scandal. It is a flourishing business today.

SGV = terminated its Andersen affiliation and shortly thereafter associated with Ernst and Young.

I remember my friend telling me that SGV peeps used to flash their Andersen cards then their SGV before the Enron incident, hehehe after Enron balik SGV cards sila ulit.

Kawawa naman iyong founder ng Andersen, kung buhay pa sya siguro ngayon galit na galit iyon.

if i remember correctly, yung SGV dati is SGV&A, pero nung 2002 nawala na yung '&A' sa building nila hehe
