Whenever I'm bored, I surf the different channels on my cable and I always come across these online shopping shows. They offer things like slimming pills, breast enlarger drinks... Has anyone tried them? Do they work?

A friend of mine tried the growth pills. She's still short, but according to her, with longer feet. (wawa naman...)

Are those products even BFAD approved?

Most of these are quackery and rely instead on false or misleading advertising. If these products were so good, they should be promoted in medical publications and not just in the lay press. Chances are many of these products don't work and in some instances, may be harmful.

As Batang Uliran said, those stuff are pure b.s.. They market it under food supplements so they could escape the scrutiny of BFAD, but they're just snake oils. The improvements noted are just psychological. Imagine niyo, drinking mixed fruit drinks para maging slim? And spending thousands for it when you can just go to the supermarket and buy Del Monte or Dole and pay a lot less.
