Ibuprofen

Hi Doctors! What are the brand names of Ibuprofen, or medicines with Ibuprofen? Have to avoid that eh. Alam ko lang yung Alaxan and Ponstan. :)

Some ibuprofen brands include Brufen, Gofen, Hostalgin, Alaxan, Midol, Motrin, Muskelax, and Skelan Forte. Ponstan does not have ibuprofen; it's purely mefenamic acid. However, if you are allergic to ibuprofen, you might also be allergic to some NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like diclofenac, flurbiprofen, piroxicam, and ketoprofen, to name only some. See your allergologist to know the extent of your hypersensitivity.
