There are many hospitals and doctors in the immediate Metro Manila area but where does one go if one lives south of Alabang? The traffic would make it intolerable to have to drive a great distance just to see a physician.

Well..there's Alabang Medical Center...but I think it's non-tertiary and it's not private. Correct me if I'm wrong, Alabang people.

Well, there's the Parañaque Medical Center along Sucat Road(?). We also have Ayala Health Center for those not too immediate needs. But my family and I still go to Makati Med for check ups.

I've seen the one under construction wolverine was referring too. It really is a huge area!

the filinvest hospital has been years in the making already. do you know when it is actually scheduled to be completed?

That's Asian Hospital (the one in Filinvest). Regarding when it's scheduled to be completed--I'll ask around. Sorry, I forgot to ask for you, BU! :) Anyway, they're already starting to pick the consultant staff, and have finished assigning department heads. President of the said hospital is Dr. Jorge Garcia, a cardiovascular surgeon, and investors are I think Singaporeans and Fil-Americans. And it is HUGE! I think they're planning to make the place a hospital community, like some of the US hospitals. Wolverine's right, it's going to be the biggest hospital in Asia.
