Doc, what are the implications of PGH not being Y2K not ready? Meron ba dapat ikabahala ang public?

well there's already jan. 1 and there hasn't been any news bout it so no worry. and besides the patients will die ren naman. *knock on wood* baka may kamag-anak kayo dun sorry

The only place that I imagine would get significantly affected by the Y2K bug, if at all, would be the CCU, because of its equipments, although of course there are other computers there. Otherwise, PGH is manual labor-intensive. While computer equipments may or may not ground to a halt, their services and their medical staff won't, and I believe they're more than adequate to cope with the hassles that the Y2K bug might bring.

basta government hospitals and other government facilities won't be affected by the y2k... eh wala namang computer ang ating mga gov't offices eh... lahat puro manu-mano :)
