The Kapamilya Summer Caravan began on the Philippine Island of Cebu in May before traveling to Europe, the Middle East, Asia and now to the United States. The Caravan brings the hottest names in Philippine entertainment directly to the fans and allows many to see their favorite television, movie and music entertainers live and in person.

Details on the free events are as follows:

LOS ANGELES (Saturday, July 16 at 12:00 p.m.)
The free Los Angeles concert will be held at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif. on July 16. Gates will open at 12:00 p.m. and feature activities and fan photograph sessions with some of the most popular ABS-CBN stars. Performances will begin at 5:00 p.m. A future announcement will detail the star line-up.

SAN FRANCISCO (Saturday, July 23 at 12:00 p.m.)
The free San Francisco concert will be held at the Monster Park Fairgrounds (formerly Candlestick Park). Gates will open at 12:00 p.m. and feature activities and fan photograph sessions with some of the most popular ABS-CBN stars. The show “The Buzz” will conduct a special taping at 4:00 p.m. Performances will begin at 6:00 p.m. A future announcement will detail the star line-up.

Cabunoc added, “We know how important it is to stay in touch with our homeland, so when ABS-CBNi announces an event, it happens. You can expect to see even more events this year, so, as they say, ‘stay tuned.’”

The “ABS-CBN Summer Kapamilya Caravan” concerts come on the heels of a number of wildly successful ABS-CBN International events. The Kapamilya network recently hosted a special taping of the extremely popular game show “Wowowee” in San Francisco on June 19 where more than 10,000 people watched as ABS-CBNi gave away 1 million Philippine pesos ($18,000) to one lucky Kapamilya Circle member. Ms. Zenaida Guiam of San Jose, Calif., a long-time TFC viewer and a member of the exclusive Kapamilya Circle, was selected to play the popular game hosted by Janelle Jamer and Marvin Agustin. Ms. Guiam was the only contestant to answer all questions correctly and advance to play “Pera O Bayong” where she won the one million PHP prize. Bakit daw papuntahin ni Rosanna Roces ang mga anak niya sa bahay ni Manay Lolit, eh ang baho raw roon at pawang mga aso at may garapata pa?!

Malinis kasi si Rosanna at hindi sanay sa garapata kaya ayaw na ayaw niyang tumuntong sa bahay ni Manay Lolit.

Ang garapata ay nakikita sa aso. Kapag nakita mo ‘yan sa ibang bahagi ng katawan ng tao, ibang klase na ‘yun. Kaya ganun na lang kung mandiri si Rosanna sa garapata?

Kahit itsek nyo sa Animal House, makikita ninyo roon kung gaano kalaki ang binabayaran ni Manay Lolit sa mga pagkain, gamot at grooming ng mahigit 50 aso niya.

Nakatutuwang mag-alaga ng aso. Hindi mabaho ang dating sa amin ng amoy ng aso dahil masarap silang mahalin at naramdaman mo ang loyalty nila.

Ang aso namin sa bahay, mapili sa pagkain, kaya ibinibili namin ng pagkain yan. Hindi siya kumakain ng mga tira. Minsan, pag hindi niya type ang ipinapakain sa kanya, kaagad niyang isinusuka. Lalong hindi siya kumakain ng mga isinusuka niya.
