MEDICAL EXAM - anong ginagawa at pinapagawa dito?

Curious lang ako kasi marami akong nababalitaan na sobrang talino pero hindi natatanggap sa trabaho dahil bumagsak sa medical. ano ba dapat ang mga sakit na iniiwasan. ano yung pinakuhang tests. at kung ano ano pa!

they will take sample of your blood, urine, and stool for examination. A medical history interview from a doctor, blood pressure and chest xray. Yeah unless you have a communicable disease, or have a serious physical condition, you will fail it. A lot of people i know have UTI's and low hemoglobin count(anemia) but still get accepted by their respective companies.

yung kakilala ko rin dati dinala ang buong package, nakabalot pa sa maraming layers ng diyaryo, tapos binuksan niya sa harap nung medical staff nung hiningi sa kanya yung sample. hindi ko nakita, pero sa kuwento pa lang tawa na ako ng tawa for a good 10 minutes :lol:

pero actually it depends on what company you are applying for. For most IT companies, a simple CBC, Xray, urine and stool tests are enough for their purpose.

But mostly in manufacturing firms I know of undergo a rigorous medical examination. And I was even surprised that they do conduct regular pregnancy check for their female operators.

I understand that medical tests are important but regular pregnancy tests seem a little invasive. What happens if they find out you're pregnant? Will they fire you?

If they are enlightened and forward thinking, they might use the pregnancy information to pay a little extra premium on the medical coverage, and to make plans to hire a substitute at the right time, in anticipation of pregnant employees' maternity leaves.

Thinking about this situation in retrospect, I am glad it was a female doctor who examined my "merchandise". A (straight) guy would NEVER want to look at another man's "family jewels". :rotflmao:

manufacturing firms usually have rigorous medical exams because if you're working in the manufacturing industry ,you will be assigned or frequently exposed to plant operations. you have to be in good physical condition if you are to work with machines because unfortunately, albeit rarely,accidents do happen during production. they have to check whether your color blind, partially deaf, if you have respiratory or heart diseases etc.

with pldt.. they have dental exams.. here's what happend to me... kung di tama pgtubo ng mga last 2 molars mo or wisdom teeth.. they'll advise u na ipatanggal n un.. i went to my dentist.. the problem: they told me na it needs to be operated.. which will cost me thousands muna.. so no choice.. u have to have ur molars be removed through operation.. saka kna pwede mgreport sa office nila.. hehe.. kainis.. kelangan mo pa mg-ubos ng allowance mo..


fortunately, i found an alternative..
my aunt's a new dentist.. so sknya ko pumunta.. without any operation.. ok na teeth ko.. guess how did she remove it? bwahaha.. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
