IMO, i think you should be really prepared to work in a call center, dun nagkakaproblema kapag in the end aayaw ka tapos may bond pala..
most call centers have bonds para sa company security na din.
if you're good at selling or you are really driven, go for the outbound accts, TSR pang mga compsci/it, CSR pwedeng inquiries, directory..
on ur interview, they basically look for the ENglish skills.. :bashful:

:naughty: hi! just some few tips...some call centers doesn't really look for someone who has a perfect american accent. y? bcoz we are filipinos and we don't have american accent..well perfect that is...but when they see that you are trainable they will give you a chance...then again it would dpend on the cc. :naughty: and their standards. it would really help though if you only have a slyt filipino accent. communication skills is a major factor....presence of mind and confidence...but don't be over confident...its always attitude over skills in a cc :rotflmao: god bless

cinjin & mypunda >> maraming salamat! :)

need some clarifications though...

kung TSR, a particular educational background is needed?

how will i know kung inbound o outbound ang services offered ng isang call center?

for a call center newbie like me, what career path is the most advisable to take?

and which call center is the most newbie-friendly?
not necessarily the ones that'll give me lesser workload & high salary, but those that'll give the best training, working experience, support & encouragement?

educational background for TSR?

well if you would like to thread on the Tech Support Biz, i.e. computer, isp provider, a good background on IT would be an advantage, plus you should be able to relate to the jargons.

What carrer path?

well soon as you hit floor you'll see the positions held by senior cc agents that would fit you depending on skills, educational background, etc...

How to tell if its Inbound/Outbound?

Well during interviews, there are parts were in you could ask questions... you could ask the interviewer, and they do tell if its inbound or outbound.

Newbie friendly CallCenter?

Well wish i could say there is, but in my oppinion there is no such thing, kc nmn napaka tough n biz ang call center minsan depending on account eh pressured ka na agad training p lang... actually me mga nagququit p nga ng training p lang,,, at meron din nmn naeelimanate ng training p lang so good luck.

i have to agree.its really tough to stay in a call center..kakaresign ko nga lang agad..if you feel like talking on the fone like a robot for 7 1/2 hours then go for it..
