Hi there peeps! I just registered to this Forum to ask for opinions. I am currently employed in PeopleSupport Inc. right now as a Technical Support/Customer Service Web Hosting e-Rep. I am planning to resign by the end of this month and looking for a potential Call Center to transfer to. I heard that E-Telecare and E-performax are two of the best Call Centers here in our area that includes basic salary, compensation and benefits as well as the facilities.
So anyone?

it actually depends on what kind of support, compensation package, location, etc YOU are LOOKING for...
if HEALTH - ePLDT, kahit anung sakit sagot nila... though you must be healthy para makapasok kasi madami hinid pumapasa sa Medical Examination nila...
if Location, *** bahala mag decide nyan, ako kasi, i prefer Ortigas or Libis, mas makakatipid sa transpo at the same time, think about the time you consume when travelling
if People you work with ang hanap mu - kahit saan may mabait kang magiging friend... kahit saan din, maaaring may makakaaway k din...
we may not be able to tell you where you should be going, but we can at least give you an idea what you should look for...
goodluck

Well actually, if we're talking about the location, pwedeng Makati area or Alabang. And if sa pay, I want a basic salary of like 15k above. Balita ko pag sa IP relay ka daw, the basic salary you get is 18k-20k. To tell you honestly, maganda management ng PeopleSupport and the account I am in kaya lang the thing is, the environment, I mean the people sa account. It's good walang dress code dito, you can wear whatever you want but the people around the account itself sucks..

hey bro, i was once from PS - Earthlink Tech support (mind you sobrang pasaway ako don kc i had superstar stats to save my *** ehhehe); now im with Etel and let me tell you if you get into the f**ed up DELL account of Etel your gonna see slave grinding at its best, like it was during the time of the pharaohs and the pyramids of Giza. I dont know with the other tech accounts here though, im not discouraging you, ETEL has a very good compensation package. but honestly i had the best times of my near ending call center career at PS, although my schedule here in Etel is a lot better, i somehow regret the day i left PS, hope this helps

Like many people here said, I wonder why you're leaving PS. It's one of the best call centers around. If you can't stand the people around you, maybe it's best to tune them out. Disregard them completely. Or find friends in other accounts there. No need really to resign unless there's a real need to do so. If you do plan to resign though, maybe you could check out APAC in Alabang. Someone said that it's nice to work there.

The WH line of business sucks? Hmmm, that's contrary to what my batchmates are saying. See, my batch was split into two groups during client specific training; one half went to cable and the other half went to web hosting. Not a single agent of the group that went to WH has resigned; meaning they are thouroughly enjoying their stay with WH. And that's more than a year ago already.
If you still want to transfer, perhaps you can try requesting your TM (Mike E) to transfer you to cable. I heard 20+ agents from e-support will be transfering to cable next week (their training start on Monday already; they'll be BB24 I believe). The cable team in PS is really like one big family.

As I've said, the account is great, no comment about that. It's just that as a team perce, supervisors won't take care of you. I decided to resign here at PS because of the discrepancies that are happening, that includes QA and the supervisors themselves. There's no really what you call "bonding" within the individual team.
Actually, I was supposed to be in the Cable team but we were pulled out during the final examination from our training to Web Hosting and honestly speaking, I like it here.
To be frank with you guys, I am really confused on what to do. I am actually planning to visit E-performaxx this week and apply for an IP relay position.

both are worse than PS. if you plan to switch to IP relay, ok ang package. the downfall is you talk with computer-assisted mutes NON-STOP!. if you can stand that, the go!

i love Teleperformance kasi dito ako umakyat ng call center pecking order pero i started out in PS. I too regret the day i was made to leave PS because of medical reasons. Batch 12 ako ng elnk dial up. I could have stayed an agent in PS, masaya ako dun. Wala namang call center na walang politika and PS had its share nung time ko dun. The fact na nagtayo ng sariling building ang PS shows how stable it is. TP's always here otherwise. :)

In what you guys are sharing with me, it seems that PS still has its edge among other Call Centers, huh? *okay*
