oh great. if the possible schedule is followed, wala kong production o maipadala for a week. maghihintay ba mga customers ko na wala namang kinalaman sa mga holidays natin dito? hinde. mag-leave na lang kaya yung mga ayaw pumasok para yung mga gustong magtrabaho hindi na maabala ng mga holidays na yan. may mga pamilya pa kaming pakakainin.

most probably late ang announcement ng Nov 3 as a holiday. Iniisip ko nga, Nov. 4 na ulit ang pasok after October 29 eh. Ba't kase ayaw pang i-declare agad kung may pasok o wala para maayos naman yung schedule ng bakasyon :bah:

WHEREAS, December 26, 2005 (Monday), may be declared as an additional day-off pursuant to Section 9, Rule IV of the Omnibus rules Implementing the Labor Code, which states that "where a regular holiday falls on a Sunday, the following day shall be considered a special holiday for purposes of the Labor Code, unless said day is also a regular holiday;

‘No long holiday for All Saints’ Day’ (http://www.philstar.com/philstar/News200510190404.htm)
By Aurea Calica
The Philippine Star 10/19/2005
A week of holidays is too much to wish for, but how about two long weekends?
Malacañang declared yesterday Nov. 2 and 3 as working days and Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 and 4 as holidays.
National security officials also met yesterday to draw up measures to ensure that terrorists or other unscrupulous individuals would not be able to take advantage of the coming holidays.
Oct. 31, which falls on a Monday, was declared a special non-working day because it comes before a regular holiday, All Saints’ Day on Nov. 1.
Nov. 4 is the Muslim celebration of Eid-ul Fitr, marking the end of fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. It is a national non-working holiday.
"Nov. 5 and 6 will be Saturday and Sunday, so there will only be a long weekend," Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita said.
Under Proclamation 839, President Arroyo also declared Dec. 26 this year as a special non-working day and Nov. 28 a non-working holiday in lieu of Nov. 30, Bonifacio Day, which she said will be a working day.
Press Secretary Ignacio Bunye earlier said the President signed the proclamation to give Filipinos the chance to observe several important holidays and for businessmen to adjust their operations accordingly.
Dec. 26, also a Monday, comes after another regular holiday, Dec. 25 or Christmas Day.
Malacañang also declared Bonifacio Day, which is observed on Nov. 30 and is traditionally a national holiday, a working day and instead made Nov. 28 — a Monday — a non-working holiday for Filipinos to enjoy an extended weekend in line with the President’s "holiday economics."
All activities and celebrations in observance of Bonifacio Day will still be held on Nov. 30, a Wednesday.
"A longer weekend also promotes domestic tourism and enables employers to plan their work schedules effectively and efficiently, resulting in improved productivity," the proclamation read.
Businessmen earlier asked Malacañang to announce holidays in advance so it would not sow confusion among the people and affect their operations.
Meanwhile, Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Director General Arturo Lomibao said they discussed contingency plans with the President to avoid any untoward incidents at places where people converge during holidays, such as churches, cemeteries, bus terminals and malls.
"We will deploy policemen all over the country. There will also be sniffing dogs, metal detectors and other measures in place to protect the welfare of the people," he said.
Lomibao added that the PNP has a contingency plan "to prevent pickpockets, drunkenness or petty crimes that may happen in places of convergence and also traffic management."
He also said that street rallies, which officials earlier said could be part of destabilization attempts against the government, were also discussed at the meeting.
Lomibao refused to say whether there were specific intelligence reports about possible terrorist attacks during All Saints’ Day, but noted that terrorists and criminals might use the coming holidays as a good opportunity to strike.
During the meeting, he said officials agreed to continue enforcing the government’s calibrated preemptive response policy towards rallyists to maintain peace and order.
"We are in unison that there should be equal treatment (among rallyists) and (we must) ensure that the rule of law would prevail," Lomibao said.
Government officials said this policy is needed to protect the majority against the small number of protesters who block traffic and disturb the daily routine of students and workers.
Bunye said video footage showing a man with a gun among the rallyists at last Friday’s protest at Mendiola indicated the police acted appropriately in dispersing the rallyists using water cannons.
"What is important is we enforce the law for the sake of the majority," he said.

Nov. 1 and 4 holidays but not Nov. 2 and 3
First posted 08:35am (Mla time) Oct 19, 2005
Inquirer News Service
TUESDAY, Nov. 1, and Friday, Nov. 4, are public holidays the better to observe the traditional rituals of All Saints Day, Malacañang declared Tuesday.
Earlier, the Palace announced that Monday, Oct. 31, was a nonworking holiday.
But Wednesday, Nov. 2, and Thursday, Nov. 3, are regular working days, according to Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita.
Asked why Friday, Nov. 4, is a holiday, Ermita said that it was so Filipinos would have a longer weekend.
For the rest of the year, the following are nonworking holidays as contained in Proclamation Order No. 839 which was signed by President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo last May but reissued by the Palace Tuesday: Nov. 28 and Dec. 26, the Monday following Christmas Day, but Bonifacio Day on Nov. 30 was designated a working day.
