are you referring to NEC Mobiling? they are engaged in the development and design of firmware embedded into
mobile phones. here's their site: http://www.nec-mobiling.com/manila/
programmers there work on extended hours. baliktad daw dito-- magpapaalam ka kapag hindi ka mag-o-OT. :)

yep.. sa the fort.. yung Bonifacio Technology Center.. Software Design Engineers ata hinahanap nila na marunung ng OOP.. :D

uy! our top 1, top 2 and top 4 went to work there too.. i heard kun saan-saang countries na napadala un top 1 namin.. and un top 2, madalas sa japan...

i think they pay well.. 30K ata.. and that was 3 years ago pa.. i wonder how much they're earning now.

my friend seems to be happy with the company... I am not sure how much his salary is since I have never asked him that ;) but I'll try and get back to you guys on that one

every year NEC conducts a test for the graduating IT, IM [info mngmt] and CS class in our school... kung sino makapasa will undergo an interview... whoever passes that interview will undergo ANOTHER interview... and whoever passes that 2nd interview will be interviewed for the LAST time... if you pass those, you're in... basta ilang beses tlaga sasalain...

my friend's really good in programming [1's in all the major subjects back in college] and he's also JITSE certified... in fact, the top 2 sa JITSE when it was conducted on 2004.
