Mataas sweldo nila CSP can go as high as 30k depending on your experience. And from what i heard PHP 4,000 *** travel allowance non-taxable.

hi jDead! kasi yung kakilala ko daw nag apply jan sa january na last interview daw panel interview :eek: sinabihan daw depende sa level ng experience. pag 1 yr n up daw pwede umabot ng 25k according sa kakilala ko. at least 6 mos experience para mag range ng 15-21k.

yes, as i've said on my previous post, training will start on February. day shift 'to kse nga Australian account. ang alam ko 5am ang pinakamaaga na shift. Salary range, it depends on your qualifications and also call center experience. *** SHELL na bahala nyan magbigay ng offer. kung matagal ka na sa call center industry, malaki i-offer sayo.

si james yung nag handle ng last item sa series-of-exams(although, I think since its a start-up center naturally they only want to hire the best people. So all we can do is hope for the best because I know that there are a lot of smart guys also aiming for a chance to be a part of shell-pioneer batch. sino ka dun? para sana nabati man lang kita.(ikaw ba yung nakasabay ko? good luck din sayo kelan mo tatapusin yung mga exams mo?)


kanina, there were a lot of applicants applying for the same position, some of them are even team leads ata..pero di ko na masyadong napansin kasi mga 10:55 natapos na ako so umalis nalang kagad ako. pa re sched ka na tonka sayang naman at least yung chance andun.

to make it more clear.. here how it goes..

the final interview is mostly about yourself, your job experiences & situational questions. it's a panel interview.

shell account will be situated at rcbc tower.
training would be for 6 weeks.
clients are from english countries such as UK, Australia & US.
schedule would depends upon the account:
UK: 3pm-12mn
US: 10pm-7am
AU: 6am-3pm
so, its not a day job only!

salary? they are not offering high salary. when i was interviewed by john clements the salary range that i gave them was 15000-17000 (which is mababa na kung tutuusin).. then when i went through the final interview with SHELL, they asked me if i would still accept the job if they CANNOT offer me the salary that i want... =(

so parang ibig sabihin nun... the 18000-20000 or 21000-25000 that they are talking about is NOT TRUE! i am sorry to say but this head hunters are just saying that the salary is high so that everyone will be interested to apply.

believe me, the salary is not high. that is already according to SHELL. i asked them during the interview.

job offer will not happen on the same day... you have to wait for their call for the job offer. that is if you PASSED the final interview. =)

I'm the one in charge for the Shell account under ng Add Force and Brandt international. I personally talk to the HR manager and panel of assessors ng Shell so i know *** salary na ini-offer nila. *** salary na 18-25k per month is only SALARY RANGE na set-up ng SHELL mismo. Salary will depend on Shell since sila naman gumagawa ng job offer. In fact before mag job offer and contract signing, hinihingi ng HR nila *** latest pay slip from their previous or present employer. After nila macheck un, chaka lang sila gawa ng job offer. One CSP level 2 candidate was offered 18k plus 4750 na allowance. meron din na-offer na 15k plus 4750 allowance, kinuha pa ren nila. Why? kse nga stable yung company, pioneer batch pa and may career growth.

*** 25k plus na salary, sa CSP level 3 un. Wala pa sila opening for that position, hanggang CSP level 2 pa lang.


Also i was able to talk to the panel of assessors and asked them kung anu ba ang gusto nila sa isang candidate since konti lang *** nakapasa sa 1st and 2nd batch na nainterview last year. Shempre gusto nila excellent comm skills, with call center experience and nde call center hopper, iniiwasan nila kse *** mataas na attrition rate. gusto nila magtatagal *** empleyado nila.

Australian inbound account *** hahawakan dito, un ang sabi saken ng HR manager, ewan ko kung meron US and UK account.

kaya sa mga mag aapply ng TL and QA, pag nag client presentation kayo, 4 *** assessors: 2 pinoy, isang australian and isang singaporean. Sila kse *** mga assessors last year eh and sila den *** mga bossing sa call center ng SHELL. i dunno for this year's batch ng TL and QA, kung sila pa ren *** panel.

i hope clear na *** sinabi ko. sa mga gustong mag apply, mag apply kayo. *** mga feeling nila na nanloloko *** mga head hunters, eh di wag.

i guess some were mislead with what was posted here earlier...may nagsabi na kasi na 25K ang sahod plus 4000 allowance na non-taxable. It should have been stated na for CSP3 un and someone should have clarified who will be considered as level 1, 2 and 3.
For those who are planning to transfer Call Centers, this is already a learning experience to all. Dont believe everything you read until you've seen and heard it yourself.
For those who are really looking for a career growth, i guess this will be a good move for reason that there's a great chance for promotion.
18K for a probationary employee, CSP level is already high. I believe with some big call centers this is already the maximum rate for an agent for a customer service acount. With shell, i guess this is not the max. so more chances na lalaki pa *** pay nyo.

yep, you're right. if you're looking for career growth and stability of the job and company, then grab this opportunity. malaki **** ang chance na lalaki **** ang sweldo (also for quarterly bonuses)that is kung mag excel ka sa job and nameet *** certain metrics or standards na naset ng SHELL.

sa behavioral interview pa lang, sinasabi na ng expats *** about sa sweldo nga na range lang *** binigay ng shell. *** iba pumayag na if ever ma hire sila na miski 15k lang basic nila instead of 20k plus na nakukuha nila sa previous company nila. kse nga stability ng job and company ang hanap nila eh.

konti lang ang hinahanap ng SHELL na CSPs, lapit na mag start training: feb6 na. nacheck ko kanina with hr ng shell, 20 CSPs pa lang ang nakukuha (tapos na magcontract signing, medical exams na lan sila) and 2 slots nakareserve sa mga candidates na pinag iisipan kung kukunin *** offer.

I applied for a call center job sa Addforce last november. My first interview went well, so I was asked to wait to be called for the next interview. I was even told by my interviewer not to say anything sa ibang applicants. Then after a while, I was called in to another room and was interviewed by another lady na sa umpisa pa lang mukhang " antipatication" (antipatika). I felt I was able to answer all her questions but the interview ended by telling me that ieevaluate and papers ko and wait til 3 days for a call, if i wont receive any call it means I didnt make it and i can re apply after 3 months. Pusa, sino ka kaya dun? the first interviewer was nice naman, opposite nung 2nd interviewer...isa ka kaya dun? the 2nd interviewer was pretty but looks suplada at parang may problema at in bad mood ewan ko ba! But the situation made me feel a little bad.

Pusa, is it ok kung itatanong ng applicant what went wrong, or ano ang kulang or problema sa kanya as an applicant? I wanted to ask so i can be aware and improve myself...do u throw away the resume like sa case ko na di na natawagan after 2 interviews? bakit tinatanong during the interview if I applied before? newyorker I dont conduct interviews, wala ako sa operations more on admin ako, ako *** nag aassist sa mga expats for behavioral interview. *** nag second interview sayo, sha *** anak ng GM ng addforce, asa ka pa dun pag panget mood nya sure ball lahat ng nainterview nya ibabagsak nya miski kahit ganung kagaling ka pa. kaya *** mga friends ko na gusto mag apply i make sure na nde sha *** mag iinterview.

Leif_Erikson nde nag eentertain ng walk in applicants *** Shell, may mga pumupunta nga sa SHell para magsubmit ng resume pero after that binibigay den samen ng HR nila *** resume for us to process their papers. remember FINAL INTERVIEW lang ang kinoconduct ng Shell. *** buong process sa addforce na.

Really, my first interviewer was so professional and treated me as an applicant very professionally. *** nga when i was called in for the 2nd interview that day, *** akong kaba kasi I felt i was able to apply what I have learned sa call center training ko jan din sa makati. Btw, after the unpleasant incident in Addforce last nov, i stopped applying for a job. Nawalan ako ng gana..disappointed then got busy with my daughter's debut party and other family matters. Now im back on my feet and will start my job hunting by tomorrow...wish me luck! As how my very good trainer told us "HR people are like God..so u have to please them, always have a smile on ur face."

Wish ko lang....the applicants come to your office as tao but given that kind of treatment by that antipatika....sana maayos yan...unfair kasi for the serious and deserving applicants. I don't think it is fair to be evaluated according to one's so called "mood"......Opinion ko lang ito...

i just wanted to extend my kudos *okay* to some people from addforce who really take time to reply to numerous queries about shell account, etc..

you guys are so professional unlike the people or the contact persons from other headhunters of shell..

yep! i'm talking about john clements :bah: ..they promised that they would give us feedback before december ends regarding our final interview with shell ( even the hr manager from shell assured me, after the interview, that they have the courtesy to inform all of their applicants of the result, whether they passed or not )...unfortunately, it's almost february and we're ( my friends and I ) still awaiting their call :frustrated: ..even tried to call the persons from john clements handling shell's account, but they didn't even have the courtesy to talk to me.. i was asked to call again after 10 or 15 mins but when i did ( tried 3x), i was given the same answer/spiel...even tried texting them, all to no avail.. :grrr:...talk about professionalism...i guess, they still have a long way to go...

oh! one more thing, they are also good at giving you false hopes....

anyway, i also want to extend my gratitude to the people in addforce. i went there just this week to apply for the shell account and was entertained professionally. the whole process was LONG! tests, exercises, interviews, the whole nine yards. and to think i got out of shift that day, so talk about lack of sleep (aka bangag! )

but i think i did pretty ok, coz at the end of the day they informed me i'll have the behavioural test with the expats by early february, coz the expats are still abroad as of the moment. so ^pusa^, can you enlighten me as to when they will be back? thanks.

during the intray exercise discussion, i asked my interviewer details about the shell account. so far, everything seems to be in line with what you guys have been posting here. i didnt ask about the salary yet, though. anyway, my interviewer was really nice, she accomodated all my questions. she told me that batch 1 for shell hasn't started yet, not all the slots have been filled.

is this true?

i was just wondering, coz being in a pioneer batch in an inhouse CSC means there are lots of room for growth and advancement.

however, baby steps first. gotta get through to the behavioural text first, then the panel interview from Shell execs, and finally (whew!), if everything runs smoothly, the JOB OFFER.

if anyone would like to share some advice or their experience in the behavioural test, i would very much appreciate it. thanks.

I also had that same bad experience with John Clements. The one handling the Shell account is not people friendly. People from Addforce are very different bec they are so accommodating & helpful. Anyone of u done with the behavioral interview? Pls share naman ur experience? Thanks!

to make it more clear.. here how it goes..

the final interview is mostly about yourself, your job experiences & situational questions. it's a panel interview.

shell account will be situated at rcbc tower.
training would be for 6 weeks.
clients are from english countries such as UK, Australia & US.
schedule would depends upon the account:
UK: 3pm-12mn
US: 10pm-7am
AU: 6am-3pm
so, its not a day job only!

salary? they are not offering high salary. when i was interviewed by john clements the salary range that i gave them was 15000-17000 (which is mababa na kung tutuusin).. then when i went through the final interview with SHELL, they asked me if i would still accept the job if they CANNOT offer me the salary that i want... =(

so parang ibig sabihin nun... the 18000-20000 or 21000-25000 that they are talking about is NOT TRUE! i am sorry to say but this head hunters are just saying that the salary is high so that everyone will be interested to apply.

believe me, the salary is not high. that is already according to SHELL. i asked them during the interview.

job offer will not happen on the same day... you have to wait for their call for the job offer. that is if you PASSED the final interview. =)

Hi! I just wanna ask, about dun sa salary offer mo...didnt you ask them how much they can give?
As far as I know, and yes, accdg to the book of tricks for interviewers, :lol: .if the interviewer asked you that question after you gave them your range (mababa na nga yung binigay mong 15k-17k eh,basic palang yan!), and they tell you that they CANNOT give you the salary that you want, it could mean either of the two: 1) definitely not within your range bec they can offer you a 'bigger' salary or 2) they would give you lower than your range considering that they're headhunters and baka may cut sila if they offer a lower rate (kasi nga naman, bawas den un sa SHELL). As far as I know, yung mga 25k and up nilang salary range, inclusive na yun ng mga allowances, so really, around 15k-17k nga yung offer nila... ;)

ang alam ko, walang bond sa shell and walang upselling. pure inbound customer service and business to business calls ang marereceive dito. walang sales dito kaya dont expect na may commission kayo, performance incentives meron and quarterly bonus if you do meet the standards ng shell (metrics).

magstart na training dis feb6 and feb20 for wave 1. malamang *** mga kakatapos lang na mabehavioral and waiting for the panel interview with shell and if ever you do pass the panel interview, wave 2 na un and march *** training.

yes, i just resigned from addforce last week of january. the reason why i still have info from shell is because my i turned over that account to my friend and until now i'm teaching her the run-arounds on that account also i still have communication with the hr manager of shell and she keeps on updating on that project.

my friend went to john clements sometime this week to apply for the shell account. since she is still currently working with HSBC, she was advised the same thing: that is, she must resign first from HSBC before they can endorse her application to shell. but what jc did was they let my friend take all the necessary exams, interviews et al so that in case she decided to resign, all she had to do was tell them so they'll forward it to shell for the final interview. now, getting in shell is very tough indeed, so now she's still thinking it over.

i still have to take the behavioral interview with addforce, which they said will be sometime this feb. so far i havent heard from them. i'm just wondering if the expats (malaysians) have already arrived so i can finally take the behavioral test. any word, anyone?

also, my friend told me there were no expats who interviewed her, it was still a filipino who did her behavioral interview. so does that mean it's easier to get into shell if i go to john clements instead?

and it is true: batch 1 starts on feb 6 (this monday) and feb 20. for feb 20, there are still 1 or 2 slots left, which will be filled by next week. this according to john clements. so, there is still a chance (albeit slim) for me to belong to the pioneer batch.

sigh... i hope the other JC (the one living up there; yup, Jesus Christ) will hear my prayers and let me get in shell. batch 2 is fine, as long as i get in, right? that's still better than my current job, i am sure.

one of the reasons why meron pang slots sa feb 20 eh kung may nag back out na candidate na napanel interview na. I remember *** sinabi ng hr manager ng shell, pag may nag back out, pwde nila palitan un by just checking on their keep in view files (mga napanel interview na) and *** next na mataaas na score sa deliberation nila eh maaring ipasok. pero *** may candidate na nagback out for feb6 na training nde na nila pinalitan since nakaayos na kse 1 month ago *** files ng mga feb6 trainees.

i have a friend who went to john clements for the shell account last week. tapos she passed everything and had her final interview with shell execs earlier (as in just this morning). panel interview nga, 3 people interviewed her. at the end of it all, she was informed by the shell interviewers that she will be contacted through john clements. now, she's just wondering if:

a. yung john clements ba ang magi-inform sa kanya about the job offer? di ba yung shell na dapat yun mismo? so meaning ba nun di siya tanggap?

b. she wasnt asked about the salary daw during her interview. does this mean that she won't get the job?

natatakot naman ako, kasi ako for behavioral interview pa lang with add force. can someone enlighten me about what shell told my friend earlier?

Yun 3 QA posts na yun na required ng shell wud mean coming from any of Addforce or John Clements endorsed applicants, tama ba? Gosh, mahirap yata talaga! I have a former office mate na currently included sa Batch 1. He was handled by John Clements. There was a lot of mixed up before he was able to finally got the TL post. Initially. John Clements offered him the IT/workforce analyst so he went through all the exams & interviews pero pagdating dun sa Panel Interview w/Shell execs naging CSR ang ino-offer sympre di nya gets yun. Tapos after like a week, JC called him again for another panel interview w/Shell and a week after again, he was called for a Job Offer. Ayan, batch 1 sya as TL.

i was one of the people that john clements endorsed for the final interview (had mine last jan. 5.) yes, john clements will call your friend after a week or so. if she passes, then jc will tell her to go back to rcbc for the job offer.

SSS BV is very generous with space. each cubicle is about 2.5 meters long, or more than twice as long as the average station. large lcd displays, your own file cabinet under the seat (which in my previous call center only TLs and up have), in/out trays, pen holders, etc. during that time the whole room felt and smelled as if the plastic wrap was just taken out the previous day.

... sure hope that for you guys that pass, they will be as generous with benefits, growth opportunities, etc....

from the previous posts in this thread, i have the impression that the evaluation process is more rigourous if you go through addforce (in jc the behavioral exam is software-based, compared with add where people will have to grill you).

i never looked back. having just recovered from the bad news, another person from jc called me up and offered to endorse me for another opening in another copmany. what pissed me off a bit is that the girl insisted that jc was the only way that i can apply - pa-exclusive pa sila. i told her that i walked in four days prior and just had the job offer just before she called.

jeez, i'm never going through another head hunter unless i really have to. that episode now causes me to think of blood-sucking leeches whenever i hear or read about head hunters.

Yun 3 QA posts na yun na required ng shell wud mean coming from any of Addforce or John Clements endorsed applicants, tama ba? Gosh, mahirap yata talaga! I have a former office mate na currently included sa Batch 1. He was handled by John Clements. There was a lot of mixed up before he was able to finally got the TL post. Initially. John Clements offered him the IT/workforce analyst so he went through all the exams & interviews pero pagdating dun sa Panel Interview w/Shell execs naging CSR ang ino-offer sympre di nya gets yun. Tapos after like a week, JC called him again for another panel interview w/Shell and a week after again, he was called for a Job Offer. Ayan, batch 1 sya as TL.


that also happened to one of our candidates, first he was interviewed for CSP position. after 2 days, HR manager from shell called me and the panel decided to evaluate the candidate again but for a TL position. the candidate doesnt have any TL experience pero they think na pwedeng isabak as TL. nainterview na *** candidate for TL post. aba after ng interview nya, nakausap ko si andrew chong (one of the foreign assessors for TL interview) sabi nya saken nde na lang daw nila consider *** candidate since wala daw un TL experience. ayun CSP *** binigay na post sa kanya.

anyway, baka *** floor na napuntahan ng ibang na final interview na, sa accounting dept un ( 31st and 32nd floor), *** call center nasa 38th floor ata pero im not sure ha hehe :D

good luck na lang sa mga magfinal interview sa shell. mababait **** *** mga assessors eh bsta be consistent na lang on answering the questions. paiikutin ka **** nila. remember *** 201 files na galing sa head hunter, dinedeliver un 24 hours before ng interview date kaya they still have time to review *** 201 files nyo :D

Hi Pusa! Mahirap nga daw talaga yun panel interview sa Shell kasi pipigain ka nila kaya nga yun friend ko di na expect na papasa sha but God had a better plan kaya ayun TL na po at batch 1 na nga. The last interview nga daw with the Shell execs were like passing thru the eye of the needle.... me pagka terror daw yun 1 panelist dun... my friend applied for the QA post thru john clements and had her final interview with the shell people 3 weeks ago. she was told that they would forward the results to jc. she tried calling jc to follow-up coz she hasn't received a call from them, and her contact person told her that the results weren't forwarded to them yet. she asked if the feedback regarding her application is positive and the contact person said yes. so right now she's still waiting for the results.

hi guys, i went to addforce yesterday and took the exams.. i am scheduled for the last 2exams and hopefully take the behavioral exam yesterday... pareho lang naman ang systema nila coz i also go to jc before for endorsements pero i find addforce much friendlier though.. and nakita ko pa yung friend ko dun, she works as TL for sourcing dun... easy lang ang exams and i believe na kung seryoso ka lang sa exams mo and understand it madadalian ka lang den.. wish me luck guys and sa addforce na den kayo pumunta... :)

sinabi naman sa akin na talagang matatagalan ang final interview since wala pa nga ang mga malaysians(tama ba?) and masyado nang madaming agents waiting for the final interview as compared to the need of the account... so may tendency pa den na nde makapasok pero malay naten diba.. they are trying to see who would remain after everything.. self-fulfillment na den sa akin yun if ever na makapasa pero waiting... baka that's the time that i would tell them naman if they ask if i can wait for another month that it sounds good but my need and survival is of the importance.. hehehe!! bawi ng pride!! but am crossing my fingers it would turn out a-ok... sana!!!

He didn't pass the behavioral interview kasi inamin niyang stressful masyado ang kanyang account sa dating call center kaya niya gusto umalis dito (therefore giving the impression that he doesn't like challenges and can't handle pressure). He wants to apply again this time thru John Clements. What do you think? Eh sa talaga namang kakaiba ang account nila doon sa call center niya eh! As of today, we heard that several people resigned who were otherwise topnotchers sa certification tapos may isang topnotcher na nag-AWOL (grabe nga talaga daw kasi ang stress and complexity ng account).

I also got the info from Addforce that Shell daw is prioritizing CSPs. Sbi naman sa John Clements... batch 2 starts March 13. But my friend who's wave 1 sa Shell told me that batch 2 started na last Feb 20 & he confirmed that batch 3 is scheduled to start March 13 tapos Batch 4 is probably April.

Also my former officemate told me that they were advised to prioritize the CSP post than the TL, QA TL and Ops analyst post.

I applied for Shell's call center thru John Clements last February following Sfoidro_Aisthima's experience here on PEx where he was hired after only 2.5-3 weeks of waiting thanks to JC's fast processing. Yes, the process was much faster than that at Addforce, and I did get to do my final interview at Shell with a panel of 3 pinoy HR folks from Pilipinas Shell on loan to Shell Shared Services call center, B.V. (a separate company).

JC told me that I should be called whether it's a go or not by the 2nd or 3rd week of March. It's now March 27 as I type and last week I walked in and was immediately accepted at JP Morgan Chase.

My co-teammates who were accepted that same week also had applied at Shell and had friends who made it. They said the pay was NOT THAT HIGH compared to the offers we got from JP Morgan Chase. Sure, the dayshift at Shell is a bonus, but with today's tough times, we all need the MONEY right? Besides, JP Morgan is a cool call center. In my account, we only do 80% analytical office work and 20% outgoing calls. Graveyard nga lang in the meantime kasi JPMorgan Chase is still working on the software and procedures to get us to work in the daytime and to have the phone calls made by a separate team at night (during US office hours). Plus, kokonti pa lang kami sa entire JP Morgan Chase call center--no more than 60 agents all in all including officers.

So, dito na kayo Console pare and mareng Kaye! Irerefer ko kayo! Masaya dito. Madaming cute na guys and girls and the people are friendly and smart. Plus, the operations floor here looks snazzier than the Shell call center floor, since we also have flat screen monitors here and no dividers, no cubicles. We feel more like office workers than call center agents. :)

I doubt it much that you have a 'relative' with pilipinas shell because they are a different body from SHELL-CSC. As to how you get hold of 'dubious' info I leave it for you to answer.

It's true that Pilipinas Shell and Shell Shared Services B.V. are separate legal entities, but they are both affiliates of the same mother company, Royal Dutch Shell, and in the first place it was through people FROM PILIPINAS SHELL that I learned about Shell Shared Services B.V.'s new call center. And I know for a fact that affiliate companies often share personnel (who are often the source of information passed on to friends and co-workers), especially where one of the co-affiliates is just starting up operations.

Interpretation ko nang personal ang sinabi kong "hindi muna itutuloy ang pagha-hire ng Wave 2 and Wave 3" based on the news I got. Reasonable hypothesis naman yung sinabi ko ah, unless talagang screwed up lang talaga ang manpower/recruiting agency na inapplayan ko. Kasi nga naman, kung on hold ang recruitment because of operational problems, for sure that would take at least a full month to resolve and therefore it would be reasonable to assume that pending applicants would have to wait monthS before getting in, if ever.

And yes, I am glad I got to JPMorgan Chase. It has nothing to do entirely with my disappointment with either or both Shell and its manpower/recruiting agency. Application processes for your company take months. IMO, that's not a good way for a company to operate. Call centers routinely hire people within a matter of days, so why should Shell-CSC take MORE THAN 2 MONTHS to process a wave? Sobrang rare na precious metals ba ang mga trabaho diyan? To be frank with you, given the job description of my position here at JPM, sila pa nga dapat ang ganyan kapili eh. Pero hindi. Ordinary call center work lang naman diyan sa inyo ah, tapos kasinghirap ng pagsali ng fraternity sa law school ang pagpasok diyan sa inyo? I'm not the only person disappointed in the long waiting time needed to get into Shell-CSC. Madami kami, some dito pa sa Pex. I think that honestly our frustrations with Shell's VERY SLOWhiring process is justified.

And overrated naman daw ang compensation na ino-offer ng Shell. Some people I know who went on to JPMC said they realized from their friends who went into Shell-CSC that the pay scale wasn't as it was touted to be by the recruiting/manpower agencies involved with Shell-CSC's recruitment. Unlike dito sa amin na sadyang satisfied lahat ng napasok dito.*okay*

let's just all be thankful that most of us have jobs. some may not enjoy their present jobs, but given the fact that millions are unemployed, hey, we should consider ourselves lucky.

in my case with Shell, it was entirely different. like what leif said, i got in after only a couple of weeks. you can call it luck, you can call it fate, whatever. i really wanted to get in here and i prayed hard for it. now that i am in, i am pleased with my decision. scratch that, extremely pleased. i dont intend to leave; i want to grow and be successful here in this company.

wave 2 started on feb 20, and wave 3 started sometime last month. wave 4 was supposed to start this april, but there still are some issues that need to be fixed in australia. but yes, there will be a wave 4 as far as i'm concerned, and they are the last batch to be hired for the australian account. so, last time i checked, in a call center different waves start one week after the other, but here it's different. for one thing, the business itself does not demand a lot of employees. i am telling you, right now as it is, we are overstaffed in my batch. a typical day for me would be something like taking in 20 calls, processing 20-30 faxes or emails. all of those things you can actually do in about four hours, tops. so what do we do with the rest of the shift? let's see: there's friendster, meebo, multiply, myspace, and pinoyexchange. hahahaha! so is this an ordinary call center? you be the judge.

bottom line, all i can say is this: different strokes for different folks. i'm sure there will be a few people who will resign from Shell Shared soon. maybe it's not just for them. but for the rest, why not give it a shot? i have only been with one call center prior to shell, and it's an inhouse call center at that. it was more convenient for me to work there for a lot of reasons. but i had to move, and i am just thankful that i was hired by Shell.

The most important thing about having a job is loving what you do and the people around you. Of course money is a necessity but it’s not everything. I’ve met the best people here at shell and been working with the best team. I’ve been in the call center industry for 4 years and this is the best so far. Compensation is not that high but the teamwork and friendship that we have is far more priceless:bashful: . For you guys who enjoy working in your respective jobs, that's great because that will inspire you to go to work everyday and do whatever you are expected to do.:p I will not argue who's the best company to work with or the best place to work at and I won't say good stuffs about shell because there's no such thing as "perfect" company or "perfect" management but I guess the important thing there is that you are happy with what you have and you're doing whatever you can to prove to the company that they did not made the wrong decision in choosing you.*okay* :love: :D
