i'm from addforce and shell shared services corporation is our client. I do handle shell account. We are looking for CSP (Customer Service Professional) with at least 6 months of call center experience as well as for the posts of Team Leaders, Quality Assurance, Ops analyst and IT support analyst. For TLs, QA and Ops analyst, dapat at least 1 year experience for that position. Australian account 'to, ang alam ko maagang shift is 5am. If you are interested pls submit your resume at abriones@add.com.ph

Mataas sweldo nila CSP can go as high as 30k depending on your experience. And from what i heard PHP 4,000 *** travel allowance non-taxable.

For the interview, dapat free ka the whole day ang haba ng process dami interview nito and exams. Tas after you pass the behavioral interview (conducted by 2 Malaysians), final interview na sa shell (panel interview un).

if you want to apply send your resume to the above email address.

Just 2 questions, consoleaddict:

1) Is there a bond? And for how long?

2) Will we be handling callers from other Shell affiliate corporations abroad, or will we be handling calls from dealers and distributors of Shell products? Or calls from the general public calling in about promotions, rebates, discount cards, etc.?

You can just PM me kung medyo confi, hehehe! My brother in law at Shell told me that they have this new call center.

hi i'll answer your questions:

1. no, my boss told me that there will be no bond.

2. you're going to handle australian account. Also the calls will be coming from the retailers, dealers and distributors of Shell products (australia)
i hope i answered your questions.

Any solid info on this? I've read all the post and it doesn't seem that informative.

Like how exactly do we apply? What exactly the positions they're looking for? And the salary ranges for such positions? The Location? The benefits? The shift hours? And every little details that can help us.

Well, I Was Given A Job Offer By Shell Last Feb For Wave 2. Kaso Di Ko Tinanggap Kc Baba Ng Offer, To Think Na Almost Two Years Na Ko Sa Convergys. I Was Really Expecting That They Will Offer Me Atleast 20thou As My Base Pay Pero I Got Disappointed When They Just Offered Me 14000 , And The Benefits Will Be Given Aftre Regularization Pa. Although The Good Thing About It Is That Day Shift Siya Kaso It Shift Would Rotate From 4, 5, Or 6 Am.

Brandon96

14,000 a month basic salary for an experienced call center agent ang offer ng SHELL? That means your take home pay would only be 16,000 a month kasi walang night diff, so allowances lang na additional and nontaxable ang madadagdag sa 14k na basic.

Sheesh, buti na lang di ako pumasok dito. Kung sa current office ka napasok (with your 2 years of call ctr experience), no less than 21k ang basic pay mo. Hint: Our call center is a large investment and commercial banking firm in the US worth more than $1 trillion dollars.

Just had my exam with Addforce today. Malas lang dahil ala *** interviewer ko. Sa monnday, i'm sched for another exam..then phone simulation daw and then series of interviews. And then if things would work fine wait for my schedule with Shell. Addforce mentioned that Shell is still lookng for CSPs for Australia and for their new account which is for US. are u with shell already? kung hindi pa but still would like to pursue your applcation, go ka muna sa Dell or other company that offers u a job. that's what i did. I applied for Shell last March 2006 and went through the application process with john clements. shell announced that they stopped hiring for the time being so naka hold application ko. i worked in PS until sometime july or aug when john clements called me again to announce that shell is hiring again. i said im still interested so i continued where i left off and got the job offer last sept. im still with shell and hopefully until retirement na to bec the long wait was very much worth it. ive never been happy with my job. *okay*

I work for Shell CSC and I could say without second thoughts that this is the BEST call center there is ( Officially we are not a call center, but being a customer service center, it's somehow like that).

Here are some of the things that makes us different from normal callcenters:

1. DAY SHIFT

2.We practice the "pull technology" wherein YOU are the one who decides if you would like to take the call or not. If you dont want to, there are your teamates who would. We average 20 4-minute calls a day.

3.PETICS-we have a lot of extra time surfing the internet non-stop (no blocks), downloading, burning DVDs, and even watching them when there are no calls.

4.FAXES and EMAILS are also processed and not just calls. So if you get tired of talking, you can just do non-voice first.

5. We have our own station, own PC, own telephone line and LOTS and LOTS of office supplies. Including all sizes of post-its and all colors of signpens.

6. NO AHT, NO Quotas, NO forced OTs, NO Saturday and Sunday work, NO Australian Holidays work (Christmas and New Year)

7. 15 VLs, 15 SLs and 5 Emergency leaves. VLs you can file as short as 48 hours before.

8. We're in-house. We ARE employees of SHELL.

Besides those mentioned above, we also have the following perks to be happy about:

1. Generous salary with annual, even bi-annual increase.

2. Free iced-tea, coffee, Milo and juice daily.

3. Salary loan availments of up to 2x your salary, Car and house loan for Supervisors

3. Quarterly Bonus of 75%-100% of your salary.

There might be some other thins that I missed but with those above already mentioned, need I say more? *okay*

Pero lamang pa rin kayo kasi wala sila nito:

Salary loan availments of up to 2x your salary, Car and house loan for Supervisors

Quarterly Bonus of 75%-100% of your salary.

Australia ang covered sector o market ninyo di ba mystique26 and mommyD, kaya dayshift kayo (mga 5am start till 2pm end)? Eh ang UK, midshift yon di ba (from 3pm or 4pm to 12am or 1am)?

Yup, Australia ito. 5am-2pm ang opening shift/8am-5pm closing from nov-march and 6am-3pm opening/9am-6pm closing from april-oct. DST and standard time dito ay kabaligtaran ng U.S.

Yeah pasaway ako pero in fairness i stayed in CVG (my 1st cc job) for 2 years tapos nagresign ako April 2006 and tried applying in Shell. That time, naka freeze hire pa sila so I tried other good companies like JP Morgan and PeopleSupport. Unfortunately hindi ako natanggap sa JP Morgan, so I worked in PS and started last April 2006. Sometime July while I was still on probation sa PS, John Clements called me and told me that Shell is Processing again and asked if I was still interested. Sabi ko yes. I got the Job offer Sept 2006 and started on Oct. Six months lang ako sa PS kasi natanggap na ko sa Shell. I would probably still be in PS if Shell hadn稚 accepted me. Ayoko rin naman kasi yung paiba-ibang companies. I stayed for 3 and 1/2 years naman in my previous non-cc job prior to CVG.

Agree ako sa iyo, Shell Shared is one of the best if not the best company to work for. I am from ph-ops and yes we're not just a call center work load are more of backoffice than anything else. Workload are not as heavy and yes, plus thing is at least in ph-ops we are expose to all of Pilipinas Shell line of businesses so chances of moving to other lines within the company is not limited to sssc alone. In fact, a lot of former ph-csp's are already account managers of shell commercial business, some moved on to planning and even to upstream business, wish ko lang maka move din ako:D

Bluebabyblue,

Wow....I was thinking that since Shell Shared Services and Fitness First Plus are both at RCBC Towers, then siguro may employee discount sa gym membership doon?

Wow....it turns out libre pa ang membership doon? Or does Shell Shared Services have its own internal gym facilities at RCBC (not likely kasi hindi cost-effective considering meron nang FF Plus doon din mismo sa bldg)?

Pinoynetwit,

May "napiga" ka na bang chikas for information? Hehehehe. Masama yan sa kalusugan. Hehehe!

^Leif Erikson,

We have our own gym built and equipped just for shell shared staff located within our ops area, although this is not new for prior to us moving to rcbc we also have our staff gym in shell house, yes its free--no monthly due no nothing, we can use it even on weekends or weekdays whichever we prefer.

this is why nobody here resigns--0% attrition, most grow old with shell, it doesn't matter if you are from customer service because we only serve one master and that is Shell alone. This is also the reason why monetary compensation is not the be-all and end-all here, shell really takes care of its own.

Last I heard opening we have is for the uk-ops, kaya dumadaan ng headhunter alam ko John Clements nalang, dahil yun ang practice ng global shell so we don't necessarily have to deviate.

konti lang din ang opening so goodluck sa inyo just do your best first sa initial screening and be patient in waiting for result dito nagkakatalo yung iba umaayaw na kaagad dito palang.

UK might already be in process. Application is through John Clemets in LKG tower basement 1. Look for KC. Yeah, bluebaby is right. Just be patient. Some people who applied here did not pursue it cuz natatagalan sila then later on nagsisi rin sila when they heard how much we are enjoying it here. I met some employees in Shell House during the birthday breakfast (done every month with the chairperson and celebrants of the certain month) and some of them have been working for Shell for like 30 years. At least 15 years and above yung stay nila dun. This is for keeps already. In my case, I am not getting any younger and need to stay in a company where i can work until retirement. Oh, yes, we also have pension plan here. Your years of service will be paid off. Good luck to those who are aplpying. *okay*

Hindi na addforce ang head hunter ng Shell. I confirmed it sa HR namin. It's John Clements and another company whos name escapes me. better to apply sooner kasi mas matagal processing for shell compared to other companies. actually they are not exactly freeze hiring, pero wala pa tentative date when the next batch will start. wala pa instructions ang hr namin sa john clements or 3i. usap usapan is either oct or november daw but i cant give anything definite. apply lang ng apply. ganun din case ko inabot din ako ng freeze hiring before eh.

btw im not familiar of 3i's location eh. sorry. john clements is in LKG tower basement 1. just look for ms. KC. goodluck.

type of exam where you choose which among the list of issues/problems need to be prioritized. then you will need to include what actions to take, etc and when you plan to do it. sort like that. then this will be discussed (you will be asked) on the next interview. this took me a while (more than an hour i think) since 11-12 items/issues ata yun. goodluck...to all of us. hehe

Good luck to those who applied. Once you get in, it"s gonna be a blast. From my batch which started on October 30, 2006(mag 1 year na pala kami), wala pa rin nagreresign hanggan ngayon. Almost non-existent ang attrition dito and most Shell employees stay here until retirement. After passing all the exams and interviews in JC, they will endorse you to Shell for a final interview. Final decision will be from Shell. Just be confident and believe in yourself. Kahit kinakabahan ka na sa interview wag mo ipakita. =)

Hey guys. Please post info about the company itself. (kung meron mang ganun ^^).

Interesado akong makilala ang companyang ito.

Wala ba direct hiring from shell? Do everybody has to go thru John Clements or 3i? Meron John Clements sa Festival, maybe I could inquire from there...

Please assist. :D I appreciate it.

Tip ko lang sa mga balak mag apply for Shell... pumunta kayo ng maaga! It might take you the whole day. Yung mga galing shift I would suggest pumunta kayo during your rest day para nakapag pahinga kayo ng maayos... unless ok lang sa inyo na bumalik to continue the exams. Mahaba yung ibang exams ng Shell. May mga tests na mapapaisip ka talaga. Pwede naman daw magpa-resched pero sayang naman kung babalik pa. I was there at 9am and I finished at around 3pm, they asked me if I wanted to go out and have lunch ng mga 12nn sabi ko if pwede na bumalik after 15mins... pwede naman daw. I didn't notice the time because of the exams and interviews. Namalayan ko nalang yung time when I finished everything. Best to bring 2 or 3 friends along para may kausap ka while waiting for test results and para may kasama din when you eat lunch... let's admit it hirap mag lunch mag-isa! I was told that I'll be called kaya update ko kayo when I get the call... sana! :)

Yup! They're the ones handling the account. I think each person is in-charge of a specific call center. Kung sa iba ka pupunta baka hindi ka sa Shell mapunta :)

I suggest punta ka on your rest day... pero if ok lang with you to reschedule pwede din half-day. Baka lang maapektuhan yung "performance" mo kung mamadaliin mo yung exams and interviews. Sabi ng friend ko who went there right after her shift nahirapan daw siya kasi pagod na siya.

Noticed that Shell Shared Services seems to have an agreement with the headhunter not to post hiring advertisements. Mukhang may exclusivity clause ito. I was given the direct number to some HR officers by two regular employees but not permitted to post it publicly or disclose it to anyone outside of my family clan.

I think you should feel free to ask any other non-CSP posts since the two contacts[who live in my apartment] that I have are non-CSPs were referred directly by Shell employees - no talk of any referral incentive - it seems it would be best to go through John Clements unless advised otherwise.

Hannggang 2009 pa iyang ramp-up since I was told that this country will be the central hub for the Shared Services unit due to cost and labor efficiency considerations.

Hi everyone, sorry for the late reply. I just came from restday kasi eh. Anyway, callcenterbum, the behavioral exam is an interview with one of the headhunters of Shell. they will ask some questions, actually marami. More on how you work, or if it's like the same set of questions as mine, they will ask you what's a typical day for you. They would need you to give them a detailed itinerary of your day. They will test you on how you think and answer. I think your organization of ideas as you answer them.

Dun naman sa group survival, they will evaluate your group discussion skills. There will be six of you, at least, and yo will be given a topic ( siyempre di ko sasabihin..hehehe). before the group survival, I reviewed some tips on group discussion skills just google it.

After that there will be a personality test which I'm still waiting for the sched.

tinanong sa akin situations handled in the past kaya dapat talaga detalyado ka sumagot. they were asking me things about my challenges and accomplishments, napaisip talaga ako. big deal yata talaga if maganda ang performance and reputation mo sa previous jobs mo. ayaw yata nila yung madaming issues with thier previous call center jobs... yung tipong hindi makapag decide kung ano ba talaga ang gusto sa buhay and sa career.

I'm planning to apply tomorrow but I hope someone could answer my questions:

1) I don't have TL experience but I have been an agent for almost 2 years now. Can I apply as a TL here (to break ground anew as a TL?)

2) Can I immediately specify that I am targeting the day shift account?

3) If ever I will be lucky to be accepted -

a) Is Shell shared services within the Shell building along Valero St.?

b) May dress code ba?

c) any ballpark figure for the salary? any premium for experienced agents?

Thanks a lot. Bahala na bukas!

Hey tali, here are some of my POVs and answers... Hope these would help...

1) TL? How would you know how to handle the people under you if you yourself don't have an idea how production is like?
Were you able to bring out some deliverables on your current job? What would be those? Are those enough for you to say that you can already handle a team?

2) Yes.

3a) Yes.

b) I don't know. I think there is none. Just a decent clothing (not slippers or something) would be enough. But don't quote me on that.

c) What I know is it's smaller than what the other posts on this thread say... :)

Regarding #1, hmm.. you got me there. I think I've proven myself as an agent already by showing comptence in the product/account that I'm handling, and excellent sched ad/reliability. I haven't handled a team yet in a CC setup. But then, how can I become a TL if nobody is giving me a break - not even the BPO that I am working for right now? Tough luck.

Regarding the salary - yikes! I thought SSSC was offering one of the highest salaries in the industry - this is the reason I want to apply here - I need to support my family.

I like the no dress code policy. No problem with not wearing slippers - I'm not comfortable going out wearing only slippers or flip flops.

why not apply as a csp first then work your way to TL? from what i know shell is very strict with the requirements for the position. for the TL position they require a certain number of months. maybe they can make considerations if the agent a performer/ achiever but i'm not sure.

yup. super higpit. they CAREFULLY evaluate candidates. VERY, VERY CAREFULLY. hindi lang sa butas ng karayom ang daan mo kundi butas ng pores mo sa balat. kung konti lang experience mo tapos you would want a position in the company, tapos magbibid ka pa ng sweldo... well... baka sumablay ka. unless na lang talaga, grabe ka at mapapatunayan mo sa kanilang kahit wala kang experience humandle ng team ay kaya mong maging team leader. pero, sabi ko nga, kakaibang pagdurusa ang dadaanan mo.

just west ice20 said, maybe you can start from the bottom of the ladder and work your way up. i guess they could give you a break but you have to prove TO THEM first that you're really worth it.

at tatanungin din kita... bakit mo ba gusto mag work sa Shell? you've gotta sincerely know why you wanna do so.

^^ Yup. They assess the applicants endorsed by JC or 3I very thoroughly. I remember my panel interview last Aug 2006. Im going 1 year this Oct 30. My friend who applied through JC had her panel interview last Fri the 19th. She got the result yesterday that she passed. After confirming that you passed, they will contact your character references, so make sure updated ang mga numbers nila sa resume nyo. The next will be job offer na. =)

Panu kapag ang character references ay available lamang upon request?

i'm standing on my toes!

Ang bilis naman ng response sa application sa friend mo. Hmm... I wonder what she did to get in there... :)

Killing me softly ito. Hehe.

Hmm.. That's a good idea but I think they would ask us should we get accepted.

Hehe. Panget naman kung magbibigay tayo character references di naman kelangan (kasi di tanggap! ~ heheheh ~ joke).

ay, kulang yung na post ko...it should be...should we ask jc for the result of the panel? hehe kasi i was curious dun sa nangyari sa friend ni mystique. fri yung panel nya tapos may result na agad.

i had my panel exactly a week ago. it was ok. they told me to wait for a call from jc within a week or two..though sometimes sila raw yung tumatawag sa applicants.

^I think nag praprioritize sila ng mga candidates eh. Kaya ganun siguro. Ang tanong na lang ano kaya ginawa nung friend ni mystique at naka jump aboard agad? Hmm... Mukang well experienced. Hehe. What do you mean, it's ok? Do you think you were able to deliver... uhh... all that was required of you? :)
