Help: treasury jobs with banks...

hi help naman.. gusto ko mag work sa treasury dept sa isang bank. any advise on this? is the salary good? may previous experience ako as treasury asst for 9 months from a private company. mahirap bang pumasok sa banking? any leads san pwede mag apply? thanks..

Philippine banks usually have a standardized salary system across the whole company regardless of area of specialization. Expect a typical salary for an office worker. Like everywhere else, the best way to get your foot in the door is through networking and personal referrals. If you can't network, you could try sending your resume to banks’ HR depts. including a cover letter explicitly saying that you want to work for their treasury dept. and highlighting the fact that you already have some treasury experience. All else equal, one slight advantage you have is that you don’t need to be trained on the basics of the job anymore.
