I don't know if this is the right forum to post my inquiry but here goes:

I'm planning to marry my girlfriend and would like to have her daughter to legally carry my name. What steps do I have to take to achieve this? She's not married and still using her maiden name.

you need to adopt the child legally. Meaning, file an adoption case , seek a legal help and they will give you the necessary documents and things to process. My husband also adopted my daughter and shes now carrying my husbands name.

A year ata ... they have to be sure kasi that the kid will be in good hands ...

Para ka ring nag adopt from an orphanage ... maraming requirements ... pati financial status mo e uungkatin nila ...
