Well, it is a choice. Wala namang batas na nagsasabing dapat yung career path mo is related to your college degree. In my case, my course is related to my current occupation which is in IT. Pero, yung ginagawa ko ngayon was never taught in college so bago pa rin sa mata ko.

in my case, yes, my work is related with what my course is.
as rychu said, it really is a choice.
in my case it was my choice to take up my course and really work at it in such a way that I was able to work in the same industry.

I think its related naman. I studied Business Management and know I am a stock trader.... But studying finance could have been the best compliment.

My previous work was but not my current. Architecture to Video Games? On one side of the coin, there is no relation whatsoever. On the other side, majority of the environment artists are mostly composed of architecture graduates.

I'm a licensed ECE and in my current job, the most of the legwork are not technical but still you need to be familiar with electronics to understand the technical documents and technical discussions so I guess medyo related na rin, although di naman hard core

Well, I graduated with a degree in Commerce major in Marketing Management. I'm into IT right now. My first job was also IT! Goodness and to think dream industry ko is advertising! I do sales and business development. So medyo related. I am into IT project management, too. I wish sometimes though I studied com sci so I don't have difficulties in understanding my programmers. But, I have no regrets I took up Marketing

I'm a graduate of Communication Arts and Marketing Management...but I work for an IT outsourcing firm. Malayo no?
Even my dad told me it's usually the case that graduates find themselves in jobs not related to their specialization.
