Lately, i've been getting calls from various headhunters (Q2, Mirof, John Clements, Add Force, Asia Partnership- to name a few) offering me various jobs for call centers.
Which of these headhunters give you the best options? worst?
Ano and process nila?
and last- is it better to be hired direct? or through headhunters?

there are some HHs that make you go through exams, callsims, mock calls, etc., and when you finally get endorsed to the CC recruitment team they repeat the whole process again. talk about going through loops! :bop:
mag walk-in na lang kayo!

i still suggest applying directly to the call centers you like. and if it turns out that they'd just refer you to another head hunting firm and take it as a sign that you should consider another company. Why you might ask? This happened to me in Alorica philppines way back when they were still known as vertex inc. It sucked because first off they made us wait in line like construction workers for our salary in brown envelopes. Whats worse is that they make us wait in line for a minimum of 3 to 4 hours this beside the fact that you just came from a 10 hour shift.
It sucks that you have to go to their makati office for payroll matters when you are based in ortigas.
It sucks that the people there feel that they are always better than you.
And it sucks just because they suck.
My two cents.
*oh i forgot the manpower company was mirof :grrr:

Yup!!! i suggest mag walk-in nlang kayo sa CC mismo... wag na sa HH's. Sayang lang ang oras nyo pag dumaan pa kyo sa HH coz you'll take a lot of interviews nd exams then ieendorse kyo sa CC company then you'll repeat all the application process... damn....

I guess there's a confusion of terms between headhunters and agencies here. A headhunter normally has an agreement with companies (a.k.a. clients) on a per success basis, meaning they get paid by the company for hiring the headhunter's referral -- at no cost to the applicant. On the other hand, agencies normally charge a processing fee; they also act as the applicant's employer, so the latter gets his pay from the agency WITH DEDUCTIONS (sort of the person paying them for having found a job for him or her. Now this is on a perpetual basis for as long as the person is employed under the agency). Let's take the janitorial services companies for example; you may see janitors working in a mall but they're not employed by the mall -- rather, they're working for the agency but only assigned in a mall. The same principle applies regardless of the position if you are employed under an agency.
So... back to the original question, I think it's best that people apply personally in companies.
Headhunters are effective in providing support to difficult-to-fill-in positions -- key positions to be precise, e.g., VP, Managers, IT, etc.., so if the position that you're applying for isn't that critical to the company, I believe it would be you helping the headhunter earn rather than them helping you find a work. It's also better not getting employed through an agency, because if you do then sayang naman yung part of the salary that you're giving to your employer instead of you enjoying it. Hope this helps :)

Avanti People Partnership Intl (formerly asia partnership) is a head hunter NOT AN AGENCY (so there are no deductions or fees). the good thing about applying through AVANTI is that they increase your chances of getting hired in the call center, they present to you the packages and benefits of each call center client and gives you the chance to choose as to where you wanna be endorsed. they give you tips as to what to expect during the interviews. Avanti will tell you exactly what to expect from the call centers you'll be endorsed to (type of exam, # of interviews, etc.)
Applying through AVANTI PEOPLE PARTNERSHIP INTL. is better than being a walk in applicant because your application is prioritized, you get feedback right away and you get endorsed to more than 1 call center, as i mentioned earlier you would be presented with the packages and benefits each call center offers so you would know which call center you would prioritize.
