FIREMARSHALL BILL, and jim carrey's chracter, yung parang lady amazon siya in pigtails (venus the milo ba yun..or something...) etc... i wish they would show it agin, kahit re-runs lang

maxine, Jim Carrey's bodybuilding character was named "Vera de Milo". Kadiri kasi lalaking-lalaki ang dating, ngumunguya ng tobacco, at kung tumawa pa parang kabayo.
The Rock was fortunate enough to see a couple of old episodes of "In Living Color" in Toronto in 1998. Nakaka-miss sobra! The Rock remembers bringing out some Chips Ahoy cookies and coke on Friday nights, just to watch this show. Plus, 30 minutes seemed like it was never enough.:( By the way, the show's DJ was called SW1. He's now better known as Shawn Wayans of "The Wayans Brothers" TV show and co-host of the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards together with Marlon Wayans.:ahh:
Men on Film was always hilarious as David Alan-Grier played Antoine Merriweather and Damon Wayans was Blaine Edwards. There was one real good episode that had Blaine turn into a guy!

The Rock, about a month ago the show was being aired here in the US..ewan ko lang kung hanggang ngayon, let me check the tv guide..spill the beans re: the show's cancellation! :D i don't like the younger wayans btw (the ones who hosted VMA2000), medyo nakakainis sila tapos ang flat pa ng jokes... http://smilecwm.tripod.com/net5/wacky.gif

Talagang flat! That was probably the worst MTV VMAs ever!:grrr: Iba talaga 'yung older Wayans siblings. Those guys are geniuses, the younger kids are just trying to be funny. But back to the topic, if only they showed "In Living Color" again dito sa Pinas!:~(
Who doesn't? ;) This was my first glimpse of the Wayans and Jim Carrey at their finest. :D And this was like waaayy before cable TV even existed here in the Philippines  kaya nakaka-miss talaga! :( Yeah, I'd wish they'd air re-runs man lang.

I miss this show, too! I couldn't believe how we had watched Jim Carrey's antics on TV way before he became this big star he is today! As for their skits, I can't choose any favorites kasi lahat sila nakakatawa! Aside from that "Homey don't play that" line, I also like the one from the homeless guy, when somebody tells him to "Pick your seat", and he does pick his butt! HAHA.
Actually, for me the most memorable skit isn't even funny at all. It's about this couple, tapos the girl was in B&W then the guy was in color, split-screen siya, tapos ang galing pa ng concept. I guess that's my favorite skit. Anyone remember that???

I hope they'll show re-runs... maabangan nga si JENNIFER LOPEZ as one of the FlyGirls there

i saw one of the reruns a few months back. i think it was a christmas special. some of the actors performed song numbers, and all the flygirls were gathered beside the piano. andun si jennifer lopez...man, she looked so..different! she had a perm, denim jumper get-up pa. she wasn't sexy at all

It wasn't just Jim Carrey & the Wayans siblings that moved on to bigger and better things after the show ended. Tommy Davidson and Jamie Foxx went on to have incredible careers afterward...I sometimes wonder whatever happened to the other, lesser known cast members, like Kelley Coffield (the 'other' white person on the show), & T'kiyeah Crystal Keeyah (did I spell that right?)...

What I remember from "In Living Color":
1. Men On Film reviewing "Moby ****"
2. Exhibit A (a jar full of urine) and Damon Wayans
3. A time when Jim Carrey didn't try real hard to be funny.
I miss a lot of old Channel 9 shows...
:silly:

They used to play this on Channel 9 every weekday mornings.
Hmmm... wanna see Jim Carrey before The Mask and Jennifer Lopez with her bad hairdo... short hair pa ata siya non and medyo chubby pa.
And I think Jonathan Taylor Thomas appeared in a couple of episodes.
*okay*
