Sykes or PeopleSupport?

i guys.... please help me to decide what is the best call center, Sykes or PeopleSupport in terms of salary, working environment, growth etc..? thanks a lot =)

kung gusto m ng relaxed,laidback environment.. ** pwde ka pumasok ng nka Boardshorts at tsinelas..sankapa.. sykes is more formal..PS ayos sila mgpaIncentive.. pro **** mas malaki basic sa SYKES.. pro bawi nmn sa PS ang incentives..sample.. 5hrs OT a week= $50,10hrs=$100.. la lang..kahit taxable laki p rin..
what i liked most bout PS is u are Free to express urself..through ur hair, clothes, lifestyle.. as long as it doesn't affect ur performance.. ayos.. am a happy-go-lucky,tsinelas & short pants type of guy.. so ill go for PS

it is really up to you on which type of account you would like to work with.
the salary might be high but you hate your work or your co-workers.

my cousin told me that Sykes has just started a pilot of a new benefits system where employees can advance their benefits. she did not talk about the details but she said she likes it.

i have a best friend at People Support and he said that there are accounts that give incentives such as trips to Hong Kong for reaching targets.

peoplesupport is deteriorating cuz of economics. they're stuffing more workloads onto agents. nga naman... why pay 3 people for 3 jobs, when one eRep can(?) do all of it at the same cost?

PS management: not all people can be a jack of all trades. most people work better handling what they specialize in. ever heard of burnouts? wondering why the exodus of your eReps to other callcenters? now that ur into the transcription industry, im quite sure that your allied medical field graduates doing medical transcriptions will be (slowly but surely) also tasked to do legal matters.

that is something that you should discuss with upper management. use the voice to "voice" out your sentiments

i would still endorse PS pa rin, i even tell my friends to consider PS compared to sykes, even when im still now at dell :rotflmao: labo. kasi lamang pa rin ang benefits ng PS among all other companies dito sa pilipinas, that's what i always believe *okay*

All you have to do is fill up the online application form http://psapplicant.peoplesupport.com/ and then submit. A message will appear indicating your Job Application Number and a telephone number which you will gonna call later for screening interview. Once you passed the screening they will ask you to go to PS for the examination and if you passed the exam they will give you a piece of paper indicating the schedule and the name of interviewer for your final interview. During the Final Interview they will conduct a call simulation. GOODLUCK!

an applicant of dell and peoplesupport was offered over 20k starting basic salary
when ps hr heard that he has already signed up with dell.

in fact, the friend of this guy now works with ps who was offered the same salary range as above when ps hr learned that... well you know the story...

this is first hand info. i talked to the guy himself. he chose dell simply because dell is not an outsourcer.

but how true is it that ps proposes counter-offers of over 20k?
