Rank 1: CONVERGYS

Why?: The Big Daddy of all call centers! Has the most number of centers. Having Centers in Ortigas, Enterprise Makati, PBcom Makati, CVG Building Makati, CVG Building Alabang, CVG Building QC, CVG Cebu and more to come. One of the highest total monthly agents salalries. Night diff at 30% is the highest in the country. Its Benefits are one of the best and the Communication skills training has the reputation of being the best in the country. The pre-employment computerized exam has a spanking average ratio of 4 out of 20 passing applicants per session and not to mention they could still get booted in the final interview. Its selection process makes sure Convergys Holds the majority of elite agents in the country. Quick Application process you can get a job in a week or sometimes in a day on mall fairs.

Cons: Some accounts can be toxic like tech support and not to mention some Sinister-Villiain-Operations-Managers which is the reason why a lot of agents leave. The HR payroll process aint that good. It is very inaccurate and when you do a service request its so delayed or sometimes its never done. Sometimes you dont get enough pay for no reason and sometimes you get more than what you should and of course quiet ka na lang... :p

RANK 2: SYKES
Why?: The officially Recognized Pioneer of the call center industry in the Philippines. Sykes has been here since 1997. Currently employs 7000 (daw) people. Competitive salary and one of the highest around. Wins the Best number of leaves at 20 VLs and 20 SLs. Almost same number of centers as CVG has. Has one of the nicest working environment and facilities. Nice benefits and nice accounts. Has one of the nicest account in terms of career growth and career learning opportunities.

Cons: Its Medical Insurance can only be extended to your parents if you pay the 7K+ one time coverage fee for each parent. The Paid Vacation leave can only be used after 1 year otherwise you can go on VL but it is not paid if less than 1 year in the company. The application process is very rigorous as you have to get interviewed per account you are being considered for. Some people even got 4-5 Interviews before finally getting accepted.

Rank 3: DELL

Why: The fastest growing call center in the country today. It pulled out its account on some call centers to put up its own center in Pasay bringing down the likes of E-Telecare and clientlogic from the ranks of the call center elites by pulling their dell accounts from those centers. Its starting salary has been so competitive that tenured agents, TLs and OMs from the likes of Convergys, Sykes and E-Telecare has already transferred to dell. The center just started its operations i believe this early 2006 and the number of agents is set to reach 1000+ before the company even reaches its 1st year. Agents have been reported to get big increases even before they reached 6 months regularization point. Has one of the nicest working environments and facilities. Its new spanking center is located in the premises of the newly built SM Mall of Asia giving great access to shopping and dining for employees.

Cons: Currently only hires Techie agents and barrages a slew of technical questions in its screening process. The HR hiring process could be slow due to the fact that training periods take long amounts of time and they wouldnt start until the previous batch graduates. Not a 24x7 support yet, heard no morning shifts.. yet.

Rank 4: IBM Daksh
Why?: I dont really know a lot about IBM. Their hiring process makes sure they get competitive agents too. A subsidiary of IT giant IBM. A newly formed center gives the best opportunity for career growth. Has a reputation for being well-managed. Located in PBcom makati and has one of the nicest working environments around.

Cons: Average Salary not competitive enough to stay in the TOP 3 list. Doesnt have highly Technical accounts. Majority of accounts are customer service based. Limited to 1 or 2 centers so far.

Rank 5: PeopleSupportWhy?: Has its own building in Makati. One of the nicest working environment. Very relaxed, no dress code at all even sandals are allowed in work. Nice freebies and perks. Nice benefits. a variety of accounts and opportunities for career growth.

Cons: Its average salary not good enough to stay with the top 3 too but its tolerable and good enough to stay in the top 5. Has not expanded its centers for quite some time. Not a lot of agent compared to the top 3 but they have the reputation from thier slogan "be one of the few selected" ..goes something like that,,,,

Rank 1: HSBC Electronic Data Processing Philippines, Inc.
Why?: Kasi meron silang sariling building sa cyberzone sa muntinlupa. Inhouse ang account kaya never na mawawalan ng trabaho ang mga employee wag lang lilipat ng ibang bansa ang HSBC. Malaki ang sahod. Financial Accounts lang ng HSBC kaya hindi naman sobrang toxic at enjoy ka pa. HSBC HDPP is in-house backsourcing and not outsourcing kaya ang saya saya noh!

RANK 2: People Support
Why?: Kasi meron silang sariling building sa Makati and Cebu. Very competitive and salary and benefits. Maraming accounts na hawak. Kahit ID lang suot mo pwede ka pumasok :D

Rank 3: JP Morgan Chase
Why: Katulad ng sa HSBC kaya lang walang sariling building ang JP Morgan and malaki din sahod dito at hindi sya puro calls sabi nga ni Leif 20% lang ang calls dito (Outbound nga lang)

Rank 4: Convergys
Why?: Katulad sa People Support kaya lang may bond dito at sobra toxic pero competitive ang salary and benefits.

Rank 5: Dell
Why?: Super Laki ng sweldo ng mga Agents kaya lang super toxic naman ang work. Inhouse sya kaya ang account ay stable. Malaki ang sweldo kaya lang ulit bi-weekly ang sweldo so kailangan mo tumagal ng one year para sakto ang basic salary mo.
