this is goooood ****! ok to mga mommy, pampa boost ng immune system ng kid and adults- it's made from cod liver oil, vit.c, vit.d and calcium. dati madalas kami trangkasuhin/sipunin when we tried this lumakas yung immune system namin sa mga virus, kaya halos hindi na kami sinisipon/trangkaso, 1 tbsp 3x a day ang dosage. masarap sya orange flavored, dehins lasang gamot.

kcaj, i remember during the 60's and 70's this is what mother's used to give their kids. we hated the taste! it had a fishy smell and taste! it was also orange flavor but hopefully they reformulated the taste. like what cuch said, it is for the immune system and can even be taken by adults. im not sure if i want to give my kid this because of the trauma i had.

the taste is now better, orange flavored na nga. parang ceelin lang din. however, i would suggest giving this along with the other vitamins na prescribed ng pedia nyo. kahit once a day lang sya.
and also, i don;t know for a year old kid. baka masyado pa syang bata.
i'm giving this to my 4 y/o son who had primary complex. so far, ok naman sya. he's eating very well, wala nang cough, at hindi na nagkakasakit.

*****! Nilalaklak ko 'to nung bata ako. But I wouldn't give this yet to a 1-year old. Probably when the kid's like 5 or more.

There were two flavors available: original and orange. The one with the fishy smell is original. I think they phase out that flavor because many didn't like the smell and taste. The only flavor available in the market is Orange.
It's good for kids and adults. It boosts up the immune system. It is basically Vitamins but works well for people who frequently catches colds and flu. I have a colleague in the office who has a poor immune system especially for the lungs. One time he had broncho pneumonia and after he got well, he became so thin and weak. I recommended Scotts and after two weeks of taking it, he got back to his old healthy self again and he even gained some weight.
I experienced taking it also when I was a kid. I didn't like the taste also but it sure helped me grow up healthy. :)

Ew! I remember taking it as a child. The orange flavor barely masked the langsa...after which you burp out a fishy smell.
If they have truly managed to change the taste, I think it's worth giving it to kids. I refused to take scott's emulsion and I'm the only one short in the family.
