Guys,

For those who 'initially' wanted to become a priest then decided to leave the seminary after finishing five years and earning a degree in Philosophy, what good job opportunities do you end up getting?

For HR people, what positions do you think are best for these people?

Your input will be highly appreciated.

Thanks :)

Bong Mojica, former GM of Cebu Pacific is a Philo Grad. You can do whatever you want to do with your Philo course. =)

Alam ko sa mga Catholic schools, *** mga religious studies professor usually mga dating seminarista na nakakita ng chic, na-inlove at yun, nagsipag-asawa na lang.

Ex-seminarians have the benefit of a liberal education. Any employer broadminded enough to hire liberal arts graduates will surely consider you. Teaching is an obvious choice and has been mentioned here. But also check out banking, sales, marketing, advertising, publishing/journalism, civil service, politics, and, of course, customer support.

If you have the desire and resources to pursue further study, there's also the practice of law.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

More ideas welcome & appreciated :)

Still seeking job - if anybody is interested to hire an ex-Seminarian (Dean's Lister - with all modesty & wala pong halong pagyayabang), please PM me.

Salamat po :)
