is it true that the trainings for the agent pos. at accen. is very limited? Only for a short period of time " 2 weeks ", considering the account needs extensive preparation and training? So when the time comes for the agent to hit the floor, he will really have a hard time because of the poor and limited training, in return creating unnecessary stress and it will come to a point that the agent will dread going to work.Is accenture really scrimping on the trainings. If that's the case, then you will surely fail. If ever that happens they will terminate you and you will have to pay the 100,000 bond. Isn't this an unfair practice?

- well i'm not exactly sure how it goes with Accenture but based on my experience and being on this industry for more than a couple of years... 2weeks worth of training is the standard or rather more practical way of training a certain group of people to support the product. No matter how extensive is extensive... there is no better teacher than experience itself. In addition to that, ask and almost any other trainees who have hit the floor or those tenured agents and most likely, you'll get the same feedback.. in training you learn a lot, but only a small percentage of that training will be useful, the rest is for you to discover
- once the agent goes on the floor, it is up to the team leader to continue or improve the agent's knowledge in terms of support and i'm pretty sure the client will keep on sending CEs which I find useful , again, based on experience

I did undergo the process yesterday....it was fine, in the sense that I managed to pass all three tests, then it came to the interview.
The interviewer noticed my "extensive" background in the CC industry...as I told her the truth as much as I could allow, she then told me to wait for a call from them within the week....
Does it sound good...:) or bad :(
Anyway, no hard feelings really...

it would probably depend on how you explained your "extensive" background on the industry... besides.. what do you mean by that anyway?

Ayun nga, hindi ko alam kung anong position inapplyan ko  Any idea kung ano tong pinasok ko? pagkarinig ko kasi parang "analyze health care blah blah blah" eh.

Question Accenture peeps:
Is ACCS different with Accenture Technology Solutions?
I was interviewed by people from ATS. Got 3 phone interviews (Initial interview, voice test interview (Interviewer is from India), and Technical Interview (from India as well)). Then final interview was conducted by a Senior Manager, Mr. Ed Vizo (Im not sure of the spelling). I am a Computer Engineering graduate and wanted to pursue my career in Information Technology. Im currently working at Convergys as a DSL Tech Support Rep, and I applied at ATS as a Service Desk Agent. In a couple of days from now, there will be a TL opening here at Convergys and I have a 65% chance of getting that position. But im still not sure. Do you think getting the Service Desk Agent position is a good move? or should I go for the TL position here in Convergys? Need your advice. Thanks. :)

yeah they are entirely different entities.

ATS **** is the 'haven' for programmers of Accenture. here works the brightest of minds...d who's who in programming...d geeks...d nerds...in short and2 ang mga sobrang 'logical' (in terms of programming) mag-isip na tao. i2 un makakasalubong mo sa makati na may mga kulay 'BLUE' na 'access pass'...*** *** mga pinapadala kung saan-saan *** magcheck ng ganito at ganun system...minsan papadala sa singapore, sa london, sa malaysia, sa us, at kung anik-anik pa. fyi: hindi agents ang tawag sa mga sa ATS...they are "programmers, jse's, sysad's, etc"*okay*
if i wer u Adam_Warlock, if u really want 2 hone ur skills as a programmer, u'l consider working w/ Accenture. na-interview kna *** ng indian national, w/c means they think u r really REALLY good.

Accenture is not new in the call center business. Accenture has call centers in different countries (as in a number of years before) even before establishing a call center in Manila.
Since Accenture is a partner of some of the most prominent call centers in Manila, the company is not competing in the call center arena.
BY THE WAY....
we need a lot of agents for our different accounts (and a new account:D ).... minimum qualifications are as follows:
- graduate of a 4-5 year bachelor's degree
- excellent english communication skills
we prefer walk-in candidates to undergo 1 day processing from Mondays - Fridays (preferrably 10AM or 1PM to finish the entire process in 1 day) at our office:
3rd Level Robinson's Pioneer Mall Mandaluyong City

hi im a newbie here can anyone please help me? nag apply ako sa accenture last may 21, 2008 health associate processor ata yung job title. nde daw kami mag ccall parang data analyst ganon daw. i passed all the exams and the interview. nag pamedical na ko nung monday, may 26, 2008 does it mean pasok na ba ako? kasi wala pa ko pinipirmahan na contract.

Ya, but IBS doesn't have the "career counselor" career ladder structure that Accenture has. That is it's intangible edge. =)
hi! ng apply ako online sa accenture.. accoutancy *** course ko, they're looking for collection officer, accounts payable assistant yta un.. my tumawag sa kin.. pno ko po ba follow up status ng application ko dun? thanks

came from accenture before. super challenge ang TSR nila...as in medyo duduguin ka. pero with regards to salary and benefits, okay sila.medyo mababa nga lang ang basic compared to other ccs pero ewan ko nga lang ngayon.
