1. people support manila
2. i work 5 days a week and get 2 rest days
3. shift is 9 hours a day
4. i get 3 breaks. a one hour break and 2 15 minute breaks, one before lunch and one after lunch.
5. nap breaks... is there such a thing!? if you want a nap, nap during your break.
6.i'm on the graveyard shift, i get my 8-9 hours of sleep a day before shift so i'm well rested before coming to work
7.we have sleeping quarters on every floor, one on each wing, on my side of the production floor, it's just the carpeted floor and people bring in their own sleeping gear since it hasn't been completely fixed yet since the campaign is fairly new.
8. sleeping facilities- i'm guessing we have about 6 in the entire building
9. sleeping facilities is not enough for everyone on the floor.

I dont understand the logic for sleeping quarters in a call center really. Meron bang mga sleeping facilities sa mga daytime companies?

well, sleeping (or taking naps) is actually better than drinking a cup of coffee to help you boost your work day. its already an accepted scientific fact... although its not yet practiced locally. coffee will keep you awake, but a 15-20 min nap will give you a boost of energy. a lot of us will look for a place to streal a wink or two coz sometimes a cup of coffee won't do. international offices (some..) encourage short naps for their employees, knowing that effeciency and productivity among the workforce will actually boost after a nap.. locally, not too many offices practice it... although a lot of people look for it. a lot of top ceo's admit to taking a nap inside their offices... so it must work.

thanks for the answers people, and i hope to hear more from other people regarding the survey.
