SYKES has the highest employee satisfaction - WHY?

Based on general feedback, ang SYKES ang may pinakamataas na employee job satisfaction vis-a-vis all other call centers in the country today . :)

Is it really true that people working there are generally friendly and has good management as well ? *okay*

Less politics ba at very peaceful and also professional ang working environment diyan ? Mga trainors ba ay competent and highly deserving mag-train ng people ? :bop:


Okey ba diyan sa JG Summit Ayala ? What's your feedback of handling a financial account that deals on stocks and mutual funds ? Sa mga na-assign diyan what can you say please ?

I think a lot of people at Sykes are happy with their employer since the pay and benefits get better and better the longer you stay.

My brother works at Sykes there at JG Summit building in Makati, and he makes around 28-30k a month, including benefits and allowances. Then he has 15 days vacation leave and more or less the same amount of sick leaves. He earns more than I do! Argh! And to think that he didn't finish college. :)

Although he has expressed plans of moving on (since he hasn't been promoted and is already tired of taking in calls), he says the compensation package at Sykes can't be beat--and he already has looked around. Hence, he feels he is going to stay with Sykes a little longer. :)

hi... i'm currently undergoing core skills training in sykes. i find it very thorough. at hindi mayabang ang mga trainers pero magagaling sila.. unlike sa previous call center na pinanggalingan ko, hindi magaling ang trainers and sobra yabang about their culture. kasi naman wag magbuhat ng bangko lalo lang napupuna.

masaya din naman sa ibang call centers na napasukan ko namely.......telecenter,vxi,west,sitel,ict,teletech...in that order!!hahahaha...pero mas masaya dito..approachable ang mga sup especially
sa mga sup calls at very encouraging sila pag bagsak ang metrics mo...nakakainis nga lang kasi yung mga bagong helpdesk which is equivalent
sa sme sa west eh marunong ng mag angas huh pero negligible pa naman ..pero
mas proactive yung mga helpdesk dati..pero overall mas approachable pa din sila
compared sa mga sme ng west...salary wise..account dependent din kasi may acct na mataas ang starting kesa sa iba..like me ..2 years na ako sa industry pero ang starting ko ay kapareho lang ng first callcenter ko..kalevel ko lang ang mga fresh grads!pero bawi din naman sa hazard pay..kasi non-taxable..pero im not complaining...kasi ang long term goal ko eh yung makapasok sa account na gusto ko na talagang competitive ang salary...
saka ano pa ba ang iaangal ko..nasa queue ako pero nag popost ako now!!!
naka proxy server kasi ako..hahaaa..di naman masyado hirap ang support..mababait ang mga tao at competitive salary ,saka wish ko lang magtagal ako dito...hahahaha

That's true peeps. Although it's true Sykes is NOT the highest paying in terms of starting salary, the longer you stay, the better it gets. Imagine, 20 days VL, 20 days SL, 30 days total ang pwede iencash, non-txable hazard pay, etc etc. Maganda ang mgt, very professional yet very relaxed. And very stable ang accounts, syempre, pioneer in the call center industry yata. I LOVE SYKES ...

i love sykes!

my first job was being a TSE, but the butterfly died last year. I was with sykes for 4 and a half years. d ko tuloy naabutan yung 5-year award. Helpdesk sa butterfly, sabi ng iba, mayabang, walang alam, but mejo mahirap din trabaho namin and we always made sure that we're calibrated.

although the pay is not as high as with other call centers, I stayed there because of my friends, friends, friends, :rotflmao: the down-to-earth culture, the benefits (VLs, SLs, medical and dental benefits, health bonus which is +1K for perfect attendance within a month, and hazard pay), cheap food sa jollijeep (RSummit), dependable, and compentent technical trainers, and accessibility to glorietta and makati med. even if i'm from QC, i still prefer Makati over K-pointe (Gilmore).

i just left the company because ayoko na ng call center coz of the stress level. i'm always sick bec of stress. :depressed:

management-wise? depende. there are accounts where you can move up the career ladder fast and fair while some will let you get stuck in being an agent *peace* (worse, demoted pa but same salary naman). i guess, never mawawala ang politics sa office.

You can't just avoid bad apples... lalo na pagpasaway ka din, hehehe, patigasan na lang, pati wag masyadong isipin *** mga taong nakakademoralize... :argue: as long as you're doing the right thing and you've got nothing to hide and you mind your own business, they can't touch you, *** mga powerplay na naging bisor or manager lang, kala mo di dumaan ng pagka-agent at di man lang naiintindihan ang trabaho ng agents, hump! hehehe, isang tao lang naman ang ayaw ko sa butterfly eh, pero love ko SYKES!

I stayed there for a year and 3 mos and I regret leaving the company, dapat di na lang ako naging isip bata ...:weep: :bawling:

Kasi overall,( kahit a**hole *** acct manager na under ako sa butterfly ) SYKES has a lot of good people... :heartful: superdown to earth; pang-pamilya ang compensation :frog:; a lot of spiff at sobrang unigue at ok ang mga give-aways (unlike sa iba, you have to buy them or perform to the highest level - sa sykes kasi iba ang pinamimigay sa mga performing agents, hehehe). ok pa ang handaan pag may okasyon... and mis ko na ang dressdown-everyday, casual t-shirts ko!!! (babaw ko no!!! :dance:)

yup i also agree i left sykes for a sole purpose to get a chance to go up the corporate ladder kasi ayaw umalis ng mga mangers down to team lead kasi satisfied *** as for me im earning 3x my base rate back at sykes RS summit for a telecom acct pero yun nga sawa na that is why i have gone to accenture! but still i agree sykes has the best compensation i got in the call center industry and i stayed there for 3 1/2 years

hi! i've worked for sykes in 2004. OK naman siya. actually i'm planning to go back to the call center life and am thinking if i should go back to sykes or try other call centers. thing is, sa work ko ngayon ok ang medical benefits for MY PARENTS. how about sa sykes? nakalimutan ko na yun health benefits dun eh.. hehe... yun medical benefits kasi for my mom and dad ang main reason why i'm still here in my current job...

I stayed with sykes around 2000. Mejo nagsisisi na ako at nag resign pa ako noon from ccl. Kaso na dissolve ren ang account ko.

I missed the benefits na maski maliit ang basic eh buhay ka sa add ons :)
