I've notice that some pexers are posting job ads that don't give details about what the job is. instead they give out their email address for them to give you the details. So why on earth can't they discussed the details here in Pex and the qualifications as to what the job is. I've tried emailing whoever is this person who wants to discuss his or her details instead of posting my emailaddress in pex but no reply was sent to me as to what the hell was he or she is offering. I urged the mods to come up with a guideline as to the legitimacy of the job post so pexers won't be scammed or misled.better yet delete the thread if its unscrupulous in nature. I already sent a PM to one of the mods in the job market. maybe the income opportunities forum should do the same.

The problem with setting guidelines is that somebody has to enforce them. That's fine if the guidelines cover conversations between people, which third parties can read. It's a little different with ads. Most of them are supposed to lead to transactions which are more than online conversations between people, but personal interactions in the outside world. When it comes to those interactions, I am telling you know: PEx does not have the capability to police them. We do not have the people, the money, the time, or the inclination that is required.
That's why there is a warning to all members in the Classified Ads section: Buyers and sellers beware. When an ad in PEx evolves into a real-life personal transaction, such as an exchange of goods for money, a job interview, or the provision of a service, you are on your own. There is no guarantee from anybody.
I (personally, and not necessarily speaking for PEx) believe that our society is best served by the sum of the actions of individuals acting in their own best interest. That means we need people who are informed, discerning, skeptical, critical, and maybe even paranoid. They rely on themselves more than on external institutions. That's the kind of individual I like to think a public forum such as PEx helps develop. If the exchange of information is facilitated, individuals can make better decisions for themselves.
At Classifieds, we have encouraged the use of feedback mechanisms for buyers and sellers. That's one way people can help protect others, although I am personally disappointed that these kinds of posts haven't been used more often than they have been.
As for the job ads you mentioned, this is what I can say: remember that both you and the job ad poster need something. You need a job, and they need an employee. If their ads are so vague that you need to ask questions and receive no replies, you should not bother talking to them. Move on. The opportunity they have missed is enough punishment for them. If that's not enough for you, go back to the ad and post your experience. That's all fine by us as long as what you post is true and you are responsible for what you say.
But if you expect someone to check out every ad and decide which of those are "unscrupulous", maybe you should be talking to a professional recruiter, headhunter, or talent manager.
I am sorry if this reply is a little disappointing for you. I am sure there are a lot of good, honest people posting in our classified ads forums. I would not be surprised if there are some crooks and shysters, too. But that's the case in the real world, and by learning to protect ourselves from these bad people, we become better.

To prevent being scammed, post your responses to a job ad in the following format. YOURUSERNAME AT DOMAINOFYOUREMAILPROVIDER DOT COM (or NET)
This should prevent email harvesters from putting your email address on spam lists.
Another tip: Please read the offer VERY CAREFULLY. Did the person say to email them along with a resume? Did the person require a writing sample?
Follow instructions and you may get feedback quicker.
Anyway, best of luck in your job/sideline hunt. There's many good ones out there!

True. I notice a lot of people who don't follow instructions. When the ad clearly states they should send a resume to an email address, or to call someone for an appointment, these people post their email addresses in reply to the thread, maybe hoping to get a response.

the problem is when their offering something they just tell you to email the thread starter who made the business or job proposal. and it happened to me twice that no email reply as to my inquiry about the proposal or whatever it is that i sent to this thread starter. another thing some threadstarters when posting a job ad won't even mention the name of the company, job description, qualifications. smells like a scam

sometimes there are people advertising job openings in their companies but only give their own / improvised e-mail addresses.
most of them are employees of companies who have an employee referral program, wherein they get bonuses from each successful candidate they referred.

What I don't like to some of the ads here is that after a couple of e-mail communication (you submit resume then they'll say that you wait for their notification), they will just let you hanging in the air waiting for their reply, until such time that the applicant will forget it and won't be interested anymore.
If they cannot accept the application, then they should SAY it - and not just keep the applicant waiting.

Hahaha..that's correct that's why sometimes it's better for the applicant to look for a On line job application like Job Street than to wait for response that you don't know if there will be.
So for everybody applicant that wanted to seek job online try to visit sites that offers On line job application like Job Street or might as well check this site that I just found out that also offers Job advertisement.

Make sure you are dealing with legitimate recruitment agency.
With the ff info:
POEA license number
Check at POEA if they have the job order.
License expiry and if the agency is in Good standing.

The analyst will assist in the management of the flow of information needed to monitor, enrich, and influence the business’ decision process, and will provide detailed analytical support on head office financial reporting. 2. Performing process reviews/enhancement/streamlining and UAT system testing. Coordinate with Country Fincon on the implementation of reporting changes, which includes submission of comprehensive business specifications where technology enhancements are required, providing training and user testing resources to test enhancements.
3. Preparation, review, and submission of the country’s Inter-company Reports on a monthly basis, and other head office reports such as RAP Estimate, Reg K, Foreign Currency reports, Country Exposure Reports, Quarterly Memo cable, Cash flow reports, etc.
4. Preparation and submission of the annual tax package for the country.
5. Preparation and investigation of monthly proofs, and submission of eRecon analysis for Finance controlled balances.
6. Other responsibilities that include ensuring mapping of local country codes to reporting system structures are consistent with Citi policies and standardization objectives, review and validation of country’s financial & management data handoff to highlight data integrity issues.
