pero I agree na dapat pinag-aralan muna bago i-rollout ang mga policies na to, para naiwasan sana ang nangyayaring gulo. ngayon sa pc ko, wala na akong makitang icons sa desktop. maski "add printer" option sa controls wala na. :(

i dont think that's true. even if it is, PS has the right to do that, after all, we all signed the contract which has the non-compete clause. and by the way, PS takes care of its employees by giving benefits like maxicare and competitive bonuses and allowances. and we have yearly appraisals that guarantee a raise, though rates differ according to your appraisal rating. kung may mga umaalis na employees, i dont think naman that its PS' fault. personal decision yung ng agent.

Tumpak ladydredd! Tignan mo na nga lang etong PEX naka Surf Control na yan ha pero yun iba jan may nakaka - access pa rin... And to make things worst eh karamihan pa mga tga IT pa na kung sino pa silang nag susurf control! Grrrr!!! PS is my 4th call center and Travel Vertical is my 2nd account with PS. Compare mo nalang sa ibang account. Hirap kasi sa mga tao puro reklamo... reklamo ng reklamo... If you can't stand the same **** they why do you have to stay??? Para mag hintay ng 13th month pay??? Cheap ha!!! So far PS is the best outsourcing organization I have joined. Sa PS kusa umaalis yun mga hindi kanais-nais na tao unlike other centers yun mga taong matitino ang umaalis.

Dun sa mga puro reklamo... Aba mga ineng at totoy pag isipan niyo muna mabuti kung ano ba gusto nyo sa buhay niyo. Call center work is not for everyone. Most specially to those who always have an excuse for being stupid and lame.

please understand that the people in HR are reviewing a lot of job applications everyday, from checking resumes to doing background checks. (which I thought then was just a joke) of course you know this is a pretty competitive industry kaya salang-sala ang mga applications dyan.

getting a job means that you have to be resourceful and persevering. if you're giving up too soon, sayang ang opportunity na baka matanggap ka. who knows?

in the end, it's your call. you can take the risk or move on. I'm sure maraming opportunities for you elsewhere if you seek it :)

FYI DIN (LOLZ) im not mad at you sorry if you think that way ... actually i have applied in other call centers... i passed in all of them and was offered as tsr on some and csr on others cant even believe it myself .... turned down
some of them coz of several reasons... unstable... mababa sahod and some guys at ps actually convinced me that ps is the best call center so i decided to wait for them ... hmmm.... starting to think about it again though...

Ang gulo kasi ng E.R. (employee relations) at ng HR regarding this. Our contracts would end April 10, tapos they require us to go about an Exit interview pa and submit clearances. Tapos ER told us to submit an UPDATED RESUME if we want to become full timers nga, which is ang LABO diba?! Trina Pasamba told us to talk to NOEL Maganda regarding this. Kinausap naman namin si Noel, sabi naman nya . . . . they only cater to NEW HIRES and not Account Transfers or TRANSITIONS.

Then we talked to the team manager of a certain account where we want to transfer in as full timers, sabi naman, coordinate with Mia Posadas. Sabi naman ni Mia, she will email E.R. about this . . .

E ANAK NG TETENG! Paikot ikot lang ginagawa nila e! Di na lang bigyan kami ng INTERVIEW ng team manager ng account na un, at pagpumasa e SIGN na kagad ng contract! Ive been with PS for about what?! 1 year and 4 months as a part-timer who regularly signs up for schedules! What seems to be so hard processing our applications?!? E pasahan lang sila ng pasahan kung ano gagawin!

Hi peeps! :) I almost worked for PS. Took the exam nung November last year, was supposed to start nung December pero I withdrew my application kasi I was accepted in an ad agency. Had I not been offered another job, I think I would have enjoyed working sa PS kasi maganda raw yung culture and ok yung mga tao. My cousin also works there as well as a lot of my former high school batchmates, so I wouldn't be really having a hard time adjusting to call center work. I would not mind taking the exam there again, PS seems like a good company to work in. :)

I get your point but for me about not posting names and I agree with it. Also PS MGMT should learn from the posts here. At least their eyes will be open to what is really happening on the floor. Being blind to these things can create bigger problems later on. If they cannot take what is being said here, then maybe its time they changed their management style. i used to be one of those people who look down at call centers as a place na nakakabobo, walang growth, etc. and at CSRs to be just telephone operators, period. NOT ANYMORE! PS changed all these! Being an eRep entails a lot of hard work, discipline and wits! Di sya nakakabobo kasi mag-iisip ka dito! The training is reaaaallly intensive, really specific and really geared towards your success! I still can't believe that I was able to pass PS and frankly, had my hesitations upon applying at first. But after all these trainings, NHOs, etc...boy am I glad I did! Alaga ka talaga dito so guys, c'mon give PS a shot!

our summer outing is for the whole company of course. but since people work on different days and different shifts, the outing is scheduled for 3-4 days, i believe. ang naabutan ko is yung sa batangas and yung sa club manila east. all-expense paid yun, from the transpo to the food and drinks. pero shempre, if you want to buy, eat, drink, and do something that isnt within the allocation, your own expense na yun.

masaya outings namin. yun nga lang, dahil sa dami ng trabaho, minsan konti lang ang sumasama. may pasok pa rin kse kahit may outing eh, so either mag-leave ka or sumama ka before or after your shift.

think before you answer. minimize your "Uhm". try to speak fluently in english. if you don't understand what the other person is saying, say, "pardon me" or "excuse me".

I was an unofficial HR recruitment intern after all and I've done my best to inform HR whenever I see posts here that they must address (last thing I informed them about was OHNO's case). However, I have to caution everyone on the posting of names. rodmond and rascha_d are correct, no names. I know of at least one person from admin who lurks in this community and thread. He hasn't made a single post in this thread but I know he visits from time to time. He's a good guy actually but still, he's from admin, and we never know if he might be reporting the things written here.

^ well, some people deserve their promotions, but some are really questionable. there are some people who are more qualified to be supervisors or managers that don't get the post because they are not "close" to the ones on top. it's sad to see these people actually leave the company because you know that they got the potential to be good sups and managers. Takot lang yung mga nasa taas na masapawan at malampasan. Hehehehe. I know of someone who made it to the top because of hard work and dedication instead of his\her connections to the top management. :p kilala mo yun di ba hitman at grandnaguz. :D

Yes, PS accepts undergrads. There are tons of shifts in PS, unfortunately, you can NEVER choose a specific shift.

PS is open to part timers. pero HINDING HINDI ka pwedeng pumili ng sked mo. kahit full time ka hindi pwede. training sked depends on a lot of things. at HINDI mo rin malalaman ang training sked hanggat hindi ka pumasa. pay would depend on your work experience... kung dati kang taga call center mas mataas.

after more than a week (other applicants were informed 3 days after that they didn't qualify), i finally got an email from them saying that i didn't qualify!

why? i don't know! how were they able to validate my technical capabilities if they didn't even ask me about it? this is so, so..

here's the rule of thumb (according to HR), a PS rep should not only be good in one field of being a call center rep. be it technical, customer service, or sales, IF you're really good in interacting with people (in the foreign tongue), you'll pass. you wont know anyway what kind of technical account you'll be in, that's why they don't ask technical questions. useless ang pagtatanong nila kung pagaaralan pa lang sa training ang techy stuff.

^ well, some people deserve their promotions, but some are really questionable. there are some people who are more qualified to be supervisors or managers that don't get the post because they are not "close" to the ones on top. it's sad to see these people actually leave the company because you know that they got the potential to be good sups and managers. Takot lang yung mga nasa taas na masapawan at malampasan. Hehehehe. I know of someone who made it to the top because of hard work and dedication instead of his\her connections to the top management. :p kilala mo yun di ba hitman at grandnaguz. :D

are you working for people support? would you know kung ano yung account which offers 20k up? im really confused kasi my friend just signed a contract with the company for travel account and she got an offer of 20k...my friend got no previous callcenter experience ha.

^20k? travel account? impossible. i wouldn't go into specifics, but i was offered considerably lower than that, and i have 2 1/2 years call center experience.

but i'd still suggest u go thru with PS... :D
