English proficiency, well, make do with your stock knowledge. For the typing test, if your speed is 30wpm you're okay. They'll take exception to anything lower than 30wpm if your English exam results are really good.

As for the number of examinees, depends on how many were scheduled to take them. Normally it's about 15-20. Results will follow shortly, you'll just have to wait.

I was an undergrad when I was hired so just do well in your exams and you should be fine.

It's confirmed, 13th month pay is tomorrow! :bounce:

melquiades: yup, we have some open TL positions. You may as HR about it.

Travel folks (3F and 5F): any feedback for precious? All I can say is that the travel team on the 3/F has some very buggy applications :glee:. However, since PS is IATA-accredited, all the travel teams and their support groups have some airline benefits, details of which I am not familiar with.

I was fortunate enough to pass the qualifying exam given last Monday morning. Whew - ang hirap pala ng feeling na para kang contestant sa Star Circle Quest! :mecry: Then, in the afternoon, I was interviewed and asked to do a simulation of a task that might be assigned to me.

Now - what will happen next? Sabi nung interviewer ko from HR, they will do the background check. How long does this take?

I have some questions though:

1) May training bond ba? What if you suddenly realize during the training and/or probationary period that you're not cut out for this kind of job (esp. if you can't handle the irregular working hours)? At this point, I'm serious in getting in but let's face it - what if things change?

2) When the job offer is finally given - will I have the choice to choose which account or group to join? During the interview, the HR associate told me that he thinks I'm suitable for a tech ERep position. Hmmm... frankly, I think I'm not that really qualified to be in a tech position considering that I'm not an expert in the use of computers/Internet. I'm looking forward to join a travel account but after reading precious' previous reply, hmmm?

I really like the sort of "laidback" dress code at PS. Not to be misinterpreted for anything but I was surprised to see some people going to work wearing beach sandals. Aba - okay yun ha!

Brrr... siberian cold pala talaga diyan. All future applicants are advised to really bring a jacket when they come for testing so that their performance in the test and interviews won't be hampered by the siberian temp inside the building.

There's a position at PS that pays you 20K basic and requires you to type at just 60wpm??? Why didn't I know about this?!!? When I took the typing exam at PS I got an average of 81wpm!!

I didn't even know that that was high until the woman from HR told me that 81wpm is extraordinary! Sayang naman!! Now I'm stuck with the 13K basic!

hello there.

weneklek, you got the wrong info. i applied for the transcriptionist position and was only offered a 10k basic, a far cry from the supposedly 20k basic. I think that the position you're referring to is the ip relay position with another company and they do offer a 20k++ basic (plus lotsa other ++php) for that agent, provided you hit a MINIMUM of 60 wpm and certify at that. I came from that position, and to be honest about it, 20k is good, prison environment, stuck up management and stress, are not. :)

going back to transcriptioning.. *teehee* contractual for 2 months i think. its a newborn account and clients are just testing the waters.

thats all i know about the position tho. im still not sure if im gonna settle for two thirds of what i used to get. still thinking about it...

and thinking...

btw. thanks mr hitman for all info, congrats on your 13th month. merry christmas!

and oh, if in case that i consider the part time position, see you on the floor ;)

transcriptionist hiring is pushed back until january i think. the girl told me that if i'd be interested they would endorse me for a part time sales position that pays a hundred an hour and pull me out for the transcriptionist position when it becomes available. and yes as long as you hit around 30++ wpm you would be considered. so sheesh, i wont expect a premium for the wpm.

Regarding the quoted P13K salary, this is the gross figure right? How much is the net pay (less deductions for SSS, HMO, BIR withholding tax, and Pag-Ibig dues)? Aabot ba ng P10K? I hope - whew.. hirap mag-budget at this point.

By the way, I was ashamed to ask during the orientation - will we be required to open an ATM account for the payroll? What bank? China Bank ba (kasi may ATM sila sa lobby)?

When training starts tomorrow at 2pm, what can I expect or look forward to? Mahirap ba ang modules?

Vness
Dec 11, 2005, 03:43 PM
ChinaBank...don't worry, they'll take care of that during training. You just need to fill out the form and sign the dots. You don't even have to go to the bank to claim the atm card.

11k / 2 ba for the 1st half-month (2nd half of December)? Not bad...

By the way, strict ba talaga ang HR doon sa 1st 4 requirements? Medyo may kaunting problem lang kasi doon sa BIR number ko. I had to transfer from my original RDO to the new RDO that covers Makati City. 3 to 5 working days daw bago ma-transfer (duhh...). Paano yun eh required na yung TIN card ng HR by Friday this week??

hi. tanong lang. eh kasi i applied for the transcriptionist position, but since the interviewer told me na its pushed back to january, she asked if i'd be interested in a part time sales position and just pull me out of the account for the transcriptionist position. i said yes, and she said that theyre gonna call me to confirm. i think that was the final interview since i've undergone and passed the written and typing exam naman. they havent called yet, i lost my cellphone just yesterday and now im wondering how i would get in touch with them. i have a landline though, im not always around the house kasi.

i dont know if i actually passed? im hoping i did. just wondering if they just gave me that "we'll call you" bull to subtly let me know i didnt pass, or if they would really call me to set things up.

also, can i just go ahead and call them up to ask about my application?

Vness
Dec 12, 2005, 01:29 PM
Since you've already passed, they will call. Don't worry about it. If you have a new number that they'll have a better chance of reaching you, you can call them up and give them that too.

Gee, I'm only in my 2nd week at PS and I must say it has been challenging thus far. The assessments in Client Specific training really are challenging and gauge if you're really cut out for a career in this industry.

I have a gripe though. PS is projected as having a fun working environment. I know assessments are taken seriously but why do I get this feeling that the sword of Damocles is hanging over every trainee's head everytime an assessment is given. Imagine - the trainers would usually say- if you fail this, you're out of PS. Is that the way to motivate people to perform? Is this what you call fun?

Same here... although I must say that I took my college studies seriously, I didn't expect that studying for something work-related came as a surprise. Let's face it- di ba pag tapos ka na ng college, more or less ayaw mo ng mag-aral ng husto?

If thats the general case, then this is my case (and also nung mga kasabayan ko): when i had my final interview HR told me that i still have to go through a Communication Assessment which would determine the appropriate position for me, then they did some background check, after that they called me up and told me the sked of the Comm Assessment tpos after the assessment, we were told that we have to undergo a 2-week training (i think the name is Planet) then saka lang namin malalaman kung pasok nb kami o hindi.

Pls. enlighten me... and Btw, im still waiting for their call for the schedule of our Planet training....

Please follow up your schedule by calling our HR hotline 755-2600. I suggest that you take advantage of this.

About Planet, as far as I know, newhires who need enhancement of their English communication skills have to undergo Planet training before their actual new hire orientation (which is paid already by the company).

About the background check: I almost had the same problem. The HR folks told me that they needed more people as character references since the ones I listed are sort of my "friends". Gosh, after taking my entrance test on a Monday, I was offered a contract on a Friday considering that those who also took the entrance test on the same day I took my entrance exam were already offered contracts the day after we took our exam.

About nesting: gosh, it's so tough and nerve wracking. Question for veteran agents: how do you overcome stage fright or to be specific how do you turn off the panic mode when you start taking calls? Our trainer always tells us to take it easy but really, I did not realize that answering calls and answering the questions of the callers convincingly can be a challenging task.

*BeTeLgEuSe* ...ow...yun pala ang planet...:bonkself:...bago lang yata yan eh...pasensya kung matagal ang process ngayon...sa sobrang dami nila tinatawagan...they ask volunteers from our acct to help them out with the character reference checking...(I helped last week for about 2 hrs lang...boy that gave me a splitting headache!)...

so advise na din sa mga mag-aapply...para sa mabilis na proseso...fixer ako...:D este... ayusin ang mga reference... at least 2 supervisors, and 1 colleague or subordinate

I have 10 months of call center experience from Etelecare. I am currently unhappy in the financial account I am working with and would like to shift to a call center where the work is less stressful, simpler, and doesn't require learning by trial-and-error after product training has ended. Kahit medyo boring OK lang kasi ang plano ko mag-aaral ako for the bar exams of 2007 after work (yes, law graduate po ako)--eh sa stress ko dito sa current account ko eh I can't possibly do that.

First of all, magkano ang salary plus allowances and night diff if I have already 10 months call center agent experience?

Second, does PS have a bond? I realize that probably all its accounts are either 24/7 or graveyard shift, but is there a chance that if I apply, I can ask for and get a dayshift-only schedule?

Thirdly, ano ang mga accounts dito? You can just PM me para wala kayong sabit, hehehe.

I hear merong travel account dito. Gusto ko nito; I don't mind going to work at 3am. Mas gusto ko nga lang kung pwede 4am or 5am para out ko is 1pm or 2pm (with just enough energy to study in the afternoon for the bar exam I will be taking soon).

thehitman
Jan 26, 2006, 01:48 AM
1. Night diff is 20%. Salary...I'm sure you'll get a premium rate since you have call center experience. HR is in a better position to answer that.
2. Bond? Not sure, let me ask around if we still have that. As for the shift, we have only one account that's a day-shift only schedule, and that's a transcriptionist account. For the other accounts, most probably you'll start at the GY shift because that's the best shift to get exposure due to the volume.
3. 3 travel accounts, ISP, domains, VOIP, telecoms, credit and financial, among others. Our sister STC has openings for collections agents.

Funny you should ask about the travel account. We have one sub-account under travel whose team shift starts at 3am.

Why???

Shucks, di man lang tayo nagkita sa PS. I was hoping that we would meet but then... I hope you won't mind sending me a PM why you left PS. Honestly, even though I haven't finished my client specs training yet, I'm having thoughts already of leaving PS too. The pressure is just too much for a newbie in a call center.

Regarding Planet again: You don't need to take it if you could prove (through the qualifying/entrance exam and during the interview) that you have a strong fundamental knowledge of the English language (including grammar and pronunciation). If you're good enough, you'll immediately proceed to NHO (new hire orientation) without having to go through Planet training.

hey guys!

i need to ask a question to all People Support employees out there.

enlighten me please..

my sister applied for the part-time CSR position with People Support. mabilis naman lahat ng tests, interviews, etc. she had her final interview nung feb 10 (friday).

i know she's my sister, but i am being very objective here when i say she has excellent English communication skills, she's very confident as well but not mayabang. she is a college graduate, and just got back from the US after working for several months.

she just needs a part time job (morning/afternoon shift) because of her review classes. another story.

my question is (finally): HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE PEOPLE SUPPORT CALLS YOU FOR THE JOB OFFER? one week? two weeks? several days?

IF EVER SHE DOESNT GET HIRED (god i hope not), WILL PEOPLE SUPPORT GIVE HER A CALL OR NOT?

we tried calling the recruitment number but that line is busy as hell (pardon the term).

hope you can enlighten me. thanks.

with regard to your second question.

its 20 hours a week.
the part time accounts are transcription and sales according to some friends

schedule depends on the account.

not sure if its a hundred bucks an hour (close or a little over.)

20 hours is the minimum per week.
Magkano per hour? Anyone from Peoplesupport HR care to answer this?

I am waiting for a job appointment which might take a few weeks. I decided that while waiting I could work for a call center on a part-time basis, but putting in fulltime hours until such time that my appointment is given me. After that, I intend to work part-time (e.g., 2 hours for 2 weekdays, plus 8 hours on weekends) for about 3-5 months, and then resign.

What do you guys think? Aside frm PS, saan pa merong parttime work?

if there is ym...?

i used to remember as an agent (on my account) that we had access to it once but it got blocked because some agent on our account was caught through a screenshot on one of his monitoring sessions with the yellow glowing icon on the bottom right along with a message window opening up. hehe.

as i remembered. agents are not supposed to access ym. but if you're probably based in it. or in operations (like say a qa analyst, sup, trainer - not sure, etc), then you might have access. (not sure with hr and others because i dont get to hang around their areas to be able to tell you and confirm) =) ewan ko lang *****...

Hi! I would just like to ask anyone here... (kung may nakakaalam), someone from PS called me monday night for a phone interview then I was told to go to PS 10am tuesday for an exam. There were about 20 of us but only 6 passed. We were told that they cannot schedule us for an interview cuz the schedule for march is full. The HR girl told us that somebody from PS will call us by the end of the month or first week of april to schedule us for another interview.

While waiting at the lobby tuesday am after I've filled out my info sheet, I talked to this girl who was for interview. She said she had her exam monday and she was scheduled for interview the next day. Baket sya, she was scheduled kaagad? Yung kasama kong pumasa, nagtataka din kasi may nakausap din sya before the exam na na-sked narin kaagad for interview. I have friends who worked for PS before, they were interviewed din kaagad the next day. Is the sked really full for this month? Nakakapanghinayang kasi all of us wanted to work ASAP... yung 2 samin, nagdadalawang isip na kung april pa raw aapply na daw sila sa iba. Yung isa naman may mga pending syang job offer sa ibang CC, gusto nya malaman agad kung matatangggap sya o hindi kasi gusto nya sa PS.

Totoo po bang full? I know I shouldnt be asking this pero we are highly anxious. Thanks so much...:)

i had a phone interview with ps... i answered all the questions of the agent (or hr?). everything was great. we talked for more than 5 minutes. then the agent asked me about my studies. i said im an incoming third year this semester. tapos, he asked me if i have my grades na for my second year in college. i said not yet, but the sem is almost finished within a week. then, he said to me that the company doesn't entertain applicants who are still in their second year. nagrefute ako. i said that the sem is almost finished, i'll have my grades by next week. then he replied to me that the company has policies to follow. ang gara.

anyway, i still want to work for ps. kaso the agent said that i have to apply again after 3 months. sa isip ko, ang tagal naman nun, yung grades ko eto na.

what if mag walk-in kaya ako sa company? hay....

Hi everyone... wuzzup?? PS is good.. though they pay less...

AGREE. Not that I want to discount some of the so-called easier accounts at PS but I hope PS would be kind enough to give more compensation for those who were (un)fortunate to be assigned to the diffiicult accounts esp. the travel account based in PSC 3rd floor. My gosh, no wonder many PS agents are thinking of transferring to other call centers, PS I think is one of the lowest paying CCs around (with a compete clause to boot) *peace*

Hi bronxdude. Nice to see you here again. Sayang di na tayo nagkaroon ng chance to meet each other at PSC. Anyway, I received a PM but it came from a different PEXer unless you used a different nick.

One thing more I can say about the toxic travel account in PSC 3rd floor - I hope there will be more helpful supervisors around. In training, we were told that supervisors are there to help us grow. I know they are not there to spoon feed the new eReps everything they might have missed in training but hey, puwede ba, tumulong naman sana sila sa mga newbies instead of giving them the cold (Siberian cold) shoulder treatment. My gosh, parang napakalaking utang na loob pa tinulungan ka nila.

Hi! ok na ko... PS called thursday night and nagcontract signing narin ako nung friday. Mejo napasubo nga ata ako, I mean... sa totoo lang kasi PS lang inapplyan kong CC, ndi na talaga ako nag-apply sa iba. My prev work was with Citiphone, (cards and bank accounts not collections) I was able to handle international calls also spec. from Guam and more often than not I get to talk to Chinese, American or European clients too. Load tho is with the local clients. It was my first job and I lasted for 10mos. I was receiving 20k then kung OT pa ng OT almost 25k. I left Citi december last year due to health reasons, I was actually asking for a sort of indefinite leave but my TL suggested that I resign. I was absent for about 3 weeks already. Anyhow aun, I resigned. When I went back Feb hoping I can re-apply ndi na raw pwede kasi I have to pay the bond first since I wasnt able to finish my contract. Jeez. Looked for other work, sa banks naman masyadong mababa *** salary... other IT firms ndi rin ganon kalake. Accenture sana pero ayoko kasi dun.

***** ang haba ng kwento ko, aun so... I told Kat, *** nag-interview sakin na ganun nga, was receiving that much already. Sobrang nagulat ako na less than 15k lang *** mao-offer ng PS. Ok lang naman din, pwede na kaso compared to other CC from what I've heard, iba umaabot more than 15k basic starting pay. Still, I signed the contract. From what I've read kasi and feedback din from other CC agents, ok ang People Support. I'll start first week of April sana maging ok lahat. :)

oinkyboo
Mar 19, 2006, 05:36 AM
btw, I have another question...
nasusunod ba *** non-comete clause? when i signed the contract sabe nung taga-HR applicable daw un sa lahat ng international CC kasi agreement daw nila un. Eh, may friend ako galing PS, natanggap naman ** kaagad sa Convergys.

I'm not sure about the non-compete thingy but I heard it's already been lifted.

For any and all HR concerns, it's best to make a follow-up with HR if they promised to give you a call but failed to do so. Ramp up is moving like crazy and the HR recruitment folks here are probably overworked at this point. There's an even bigger ramp coming in April and the phones rarely have time to cool down so I won't be surprised if the HR people forget to call some applicants.

Guys, just want to ask about something. I applied for the Transcriptionist position (day shift). Took the test today, and honestly, it was a breeze. :D Nashock pa yata yung test admin because of the results of my typing test. :D So the HR assistant told me that I passed the exam, and that the next step is a final interview. Kaya lang, another department daw will be handling the final interview so she can't schedule me on the spot. Wait na lang daw ako ng call. Does this mean I'm only under consideration, not straight for the final interview na? Or is it really just a complication on coordinating with the in-charge of the account?

Also, can anyone here fill me in on this Transcriptionist position? What I know so far (and I sure hope I'm of liberty to mention this) is that it's a 5-day, day shift (8-5) sched, and that I'll be transcribing movies and TV shows I'll be listening to word for word. Other than that, wala na akong alam. >_> Is this a new account? How long does training take? Mas mababa ba sweldo because it's day shift or is it the basic 13,000? Will I be taking voice calls? Will I be interfacing with customers in any way? Sorry for the many questions but I'm just dying of curiosity. Thanks to all those who answer! :)

How's sales?

snugglebunny So, are you still with the toxic travel account based on the 3rd flr or have you transferred account already? Honestly, since at this point I am "stuck" in this account, I am just trying my best to like it and perform my job the best way that I can. I guess I'm surviving it but the idea of those supes who have an "attitude" can be very disconcerting. No problem though with some of the new sup trainees - I know they are still down to earth and they haven't forgotten how it feels to be an eRep for this toxic account.

Regarding the salary for a transcriptionist, AFAIK, they are indeed paid less compared to eReps?

Anybody here who has any insights on the e-Loan account on the 5th floor? Hmm.. is it comparatively less toxic than say a travel account? How I wish I could be transferred here if it is less toxic.

hi talipandas! yeah im with DR...

well, its hard to comment if its toxic or not... but i guess its not comapred to others... the only problem that i can see is though its inbound sales, somehow theres the pressure of convincing people to sign up with the product... and your abay status is dependent on the sales you make...

and, btw, yesterday was our 1st day at jg summit.. all i can say is that, i miss PSC... i felt that we are second class PS employees...

yacarob One of my batchmates from the C travel account was about to resign after giving up on this account. HR gave him the "option" to transfer to DR. Seeing him after transferring to DR gave me the impression that at least he's now more relaxed/less stressed compared to his batchmates in the C travel account.

If DR is sales, I think I won't be cut out for it. I can't even sell a match stick to a smoker.

Regarding your comment on our beautiful sups, duhh... I refuse to comment.

Btw, I want more info about that e-Loans account based in PSC 5th floor.

I'm from this small account. Yeah, you can say it's less toxic compared to other accounts. We are actually the very first hard core financial account in PS. We are handling 2 businesses for: Auto and Home Equity. For the Home Equity, we are called Loan Processors (loans origination). We have our own voice mail, email address and extension. We don't spend that much time on the phone. We only contact the customer if there are some missing documents or to follow up on something. We have our own pipeline and as a loan processor, we are the customer's contact and we work on the loan until it funds. Knowledge requires basic underwriting.

For the other business which is AUTO, we are regarded as Loan Consultants. We work most on outbound contacting approved auto loan customers. It's pretty easy but it requires selling and some analytical skills. Rarely irate customers because you only contact approved customers that applied 15-minutes ago. As a loan consultant, you assist the customer in getting the best auto deal by suggesting which term to go to or if the customer is not happy with the rate, you can ask for a rate review (depending of course on customer's credit history).

Because of this account, which by the way is a disclosed account, a lot of financial accounts have been entering contracts with PS. The biggest of which is going to occupy PSC's 4th floor with almost a 1000 agents. Sila lang ata ang gagamit ng dell computers dito. Kade-deliver lang yesterday. It's basically RBS (retail banking services) para kang citi phone officer. If you want to move up, i suggest that you apply for ATP as soon as they offer it.

Hi wei-fung. So, are you in the 3/f travel account or the 5/f travel account?

promil kid Hi. How is performance monitored in your account? AHT ba or CSAT? Are there plans to ramp up?

Hmm.. kaya pala lagi kaming nakakarinig ng drilling activities at the 3/f kasi malapit na palang gamitin yung 4/f? Kahit ba 3 months pa lang ako (it seems that it's almost 1 year na sa hirap ng dinadaanan ko!) sa current account ko, may possibility kaya na makalipat ako through IJAF?

By the way, to fellow 3/f travel EReps, do you know what will happen if you always end up getting very low QA scores? I'm worried already because my last 3 QA scores were terribly low. Not to defend myself, I admit I did poorly but the situations that I encountered in my 3 calls that got QAd were not properly handled in training.:grrr: Well, if my consistently poor QA scores will eventually hasten my transfer to a less toxic account, so be it!:bop:

Altariel Buti ka pa nakalipat na. I'm considering the option of transferring to other better paying CCs but I have my apprehensions:

1) lack of CC experience - I know 4 months is not yet good enough

2) Some CCs require strict American accent otherwise they boot you out. Were you able to transfer to a CC that is not strict regarding the accent?

3) that damned non-compete clause of PS!

Guys (referring to senior/long-term eReps), is it possible to apply for a transfer of account? How is it done? I asked for advice from my supe but she told me to give myself 1-2 months more. I don't know if I can survive 1-2 months more in the C travel account.

How are you adjusting to DST? Damn, I have to be out by 345a to reach PSC before 430a. Gosh, kakatakot mag-commute ha.

Hi im planning to apply.

Question lang can someon tell me differences of the following positions sa PS?

1 Technical Support

2 Help Desk Analyst

3. Desk Top Analyst

I read the job descriptions halos pare-parehas ang mga job desciption.

Someone know any difference? eg. Shifts, Salary, Etc..

Thanks

of all services offered by PS, alin po ang pinaka madali...^^
newbie po kase ako...
i also applied for cebu but the interviewer said that they are not sure if they still have slots for cebu..kaya ***** i will be forced to go to manila na ***....huhuhuhuhu...tanong again is san ako titira? BTW im from davao pala..

walang madaling trabaho sa PS, lahat mahirap

...in fact, wala namang madaling trabaho sa mundo eh.

kung sa akin eh madaling trabaho maging beta tester ng pc games, sayo kaya madali rin ba if you're not techie pagdating sa mga ganyan? syempre mahirap yan sayo. so in general, walang madaling trabaho. mamatay tayong opis workers dito na nagpapakahirap magtrabaho *okay* yey!

Hay goodluck!!! I used to be a part-timer diyan sa PS... Our contract ended last April 8 and wasn't renewed anymore... Ang problem kasi diyan sa HR, ang dami-daming hinire na part-timers after our batch pero wala naman kaming calls.... And yung latest batch pa, walang headset! Mukhang yung headsets namin ang ibibigay sa kanila...

Sabi sa amin nung meeting on the last day of our contract, almost 300 pa daw ang waiting to be final interviewed for part-time positions na malamang sa 2008 pa daw maiinterview! Yan yung sabi nung HR buddy namin... Goodluck talaga!

And she also said na ayaw muna nilang mag-hire ng part-timers hangga't di pa maayos yung myprime... Ayaw naman daw nilang masira ang name nila because of myprime... Eh kumusta naman! Hindi pa ba sira? Super daming agents, both full time and part time, ang nakaka-experience ng pay disputes every payday! 3 kami sa batch ko before na sa isang payday, zero ang binayad! I even have one batchmate who went on AWOL because he wasn't paid two consecutive pay dates.

Goodluck na lang sa PeopleSupport! In fairness, I enjoyed naman my stay there. Okay naman ang mga agents... Yung ibang sups din okay pero hindi lahat... Mabait din yung HR and Finance buddy namin na tinutulungan kami everytime may dispute.

Altwegg Welcome to PS! Di ba galing ka sa CVG? I hope you won't mind sharing why you decided to transfer to PS considering that PS has a lower salary offer compared to CVG. Toxic ba sa CVG? I just hope you won't get assigned to the C travel account in PSC 3/f. Toxic ito!

promil kid I'm curious too about Wamu - what is it?

Hay, got to go to work tomorrow even though it's Good Friday - my first time to work on Good Friday!

talipandas9, thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, I was formerly with Convergys, but, let's just leave it at that. I still don't know the account assigned to me yet, but, when I had my job offer orientation, after logging in the reception area, I read beside my name the word Wamu. I had an inkling then that Wamu was my assigned account.

morphine_p3, thanks a lot. Credit card service ba it or loans and mortgages? I'm more comfortable with credit cards kasi.

My prev work was with Citiphone, (cards and bank accounts not collections) I was able to handle international calls also spec. from Guam and more often than not I get to talk to Chinese, American or European clients too. Load tho is with the local clients. It was my first job and I lasted for 10mos. I was receiving 20k then kung OT pa ng OT almost 25k.

i want to try in citiphone. can u pls tell me where i can submit my resume? thanks. :)

btw, PS peeps, i just have this weird question.. is gym membership free? & are there shower rooms and sleeping quarters? ;)

pls somebody answer. thanks very much! :bashful:

butch79, well, I've always believed that in the contact center industry, it's Convergys and People Support that top the list. Anwyay, the use of the gym is free, as what the HR representative told us during the JO. There are also sleeping quarters and shower rooms.

Guys, I had my final interview na about two weeks ago for the Transcriptionist position. I personally thought it went well, pero hanggang ngayon, wala pa ring tawag. :( I don't like to think that I did poorly in the interview, but other than that, the only other reason is that I told them na April 20th pa ang availability ko. Is it possible that HR just decided to wait until I become available before they call me up for the actual results? Or di talaga ako pumasa? I hope to hear from you guys. I really like the nature of the Transcriptionist position even though medyo mababa yung pay. Thanks to all those who will respond. :)
